    • 14:40 There is a sense of déjà vu for supporters frustrated with the Gunners’ caution in the transfer market over the years. This summer it was all supposed to be different, but despite positive noises, fans are still waiting for those two or three marquee signings to enhance a squad that lacks quality. Marouane Fellaini, Cesc Fabregas and Ashley Williams have all been linked, but reports persist that Arsene Wenger is again attempting to drive a hard bargain, treating the money as if it were his own.
    • 14:35 Despite assertions that Arsenal have a warchest to compete with world football’s other big spenders, we are in mid-July now and only striker Sanogo has arrived on a free transfer from Auzerre. There appears to have been a hitch in Gonzalo Higuain’s move from Real Madrid, while it will take far more than the £30 million offer Arsenal made for Luis Suarez to prise the striker away from Liverpool.
    • 14:30 Arsenal starting XI: Fabianski; Gibbs; Mertesacker; Miquel; Jenkinson; Arteta (C); Ramsey; Gnabry; Chamberlain; Walcott; Akpom. Subs: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Rosicky, Podolski, Wilshere, Giroud, Zelalem, Aneke, Ryo, Martinez, Eisfeld, Olsson
    • 14:25 Arsenal arrived without the injured Thomas Vermaelen and Gervinho, who is ill. Santi Cazorla and Nacho Monreal will sit out the tour due to their involvement in the Confederations Cup, while Yaya Sanogo is still with France at the U-20 World Cup. Youngsters Chuba Akpom, Serge Gnabry, Kris Olsson and Gedion Zelalem have been included in a 24-man squad.
    • 14:20 The Gunners arrived in Jakarta on Thursday and will also face Vietnam, Nagoya Grampus and Urawa Red Diamond over the next 12 days.
    • 14:15 Welcome to live coverage of the first match of Arsenal’s Asia Tour against an Indonesia Dream Team.
