    • FT Ireland have to do some late defending but they hang on for the draw. They were playing with 10 men for the last few moments with Simon Cox down but he looks ago. A new formation and an okay performance from Ireland but a tepid enough match. Thanks for joining us.
    • 90+3 Ireland defend two corners in a row but now Serbia have a third...
    • 90+2 Serbia with a corner - as they look for a late winner in stoppage time.
    • 89' Tomic now gets in behind the defence and is nearly found by Markovic but there was just a little too much on the pass from the young striker.
    • 88' Tomic's misplaced pass comes back to him and he tries a shot but it goes well over again. He seems to like a shot does the Partizan player.
    • 86' Serbia's subs have settled into the match better than Ireland's which is prehaps why the hosts look the better side at the moment - nothing much to report though.
    • 85' Tomic's first action since coming on is to try his luck from 30-yards - decent strike but over the bar and Westwood was watching it all the way.
    • 83' John O'Shea blocks a Kolorov cross out for a corner - Serbia looking to more likely side to nick a winner.
    • 81' Basta and Tomic on for Kuzmanovic and Tosic
    • 80' Kolorov has a 'friendly chat' with the referee after being charged with a foul on Coleman.
    • 79' Great movement and control by Tosic on the edge of the box but then he blazes his shot well wide and over.
    • 78' Joey O'Brien and Seamus Coleman come on for Ireland - Walters goes off as does McGeady - Cox moves up front.
    • 76' Ninkovic cuts in from the side and fires a shot from distance but it is straight at Westwood. The Dynamo Kiev man came on at the same time as Duricic and has looked lively.
    • 75' McCarthy with a decent free-kick into the box but Serbia head it clear. You would have expected a white shirt to have made more of an effort to get on the end of that.
    • 73' Ireland are 13 places above Serbia in the world rankings but Serbia have looked the better side in this second half.
    • 71' SUPERB SAVE FROM WESTWOOD - Kuzmanović with a free kick just from outside the D. He curls it low towards the corner of the net but Westwood gets down well to push it away.
    • 69' That's McClean's last bit of action - he is off and Andy Keogh comes on.
    • 68' McClean tries to do too much and loses the ball in midfield. Good defending by O'Dea stops the danger.
    • 66' McGeady turns defence into attack but skipping past a few players and then chipping the ball into midfield. Nice work.
    • 65' A couple of attacks in a row from Serbia – they are starting to look the more dangerous team.
    • 63' Serbia have brought on Duricic for Mijailovic
    • 62' McGeady with a cross just inside the box that is blocked so he tries a snap shot with his left foot - on target but straight at Stojkovic.
    • 61' McShane with a poor header clear but Kolorov decides to shoot from a really tough angle and the shot goes well over.
    • 60' Paul Green is on for Glenn Whelan.
    • 59' Serbia stringing a few passes together now and looking a little brighter but Westwood still to make a top save.
    • 57' Ireland with a free-kick in a central position 35-yards-out. McGeady tries a shot - straight into the wall.
    • 56' Ireland's best chance of the match. McClean puts a low ball back towards the penalty spot. McGeady made a good run but turned the ball well wide. Walters was also in there.
    • 55' Serbia want a penalty as Ivanovic's header hits McShane on the arm, but McShane was right beside him - hard to know what he could have done.
    • 54' The extra man in midfield has helped Ireland tonight but when they lose possession they look vulnerable to quick counter attacks - especially down the flanks.
    • 52' Good defending from Serbia sees them deal with a McGeady cross at the near post that Walters was trying to get on the end of.
    • 51' Kolorov curls the free well over but Serbia have started this half brightly.
    • 50' McGeady booked for fouling Kolorov 30 yards out. Lovley dummy from Tosic set up the chance.
    • 49' Ignjovski shows good pace down the left - the ball eventually comes to Tomic on the edge of the box but he takes too long to think what to do when he probably should have hit it first time.
    • 48' Markovic is found inside the box and he lays it to Tosic but the ball gets tangled up in his feet. Markovic who has come on at the break to play up front is only 18.
    • 47' McCarthy with a decent low ball into the box but there is no white shirt there to attack it.
    • 46' Ireland gets us back underway
    • 46' Maksimovic and Markovic on at the break for Serbia.
    • HT And there is the half-time whistle. A decent enough performance from Ireland so far but a bit of a non-event match so far if we are being honest.
    • 44' McClean has a chance to put in a free-kick with five in the box but the free doesn't even beat the first man.
    • 43' Bisevac has to head away impressively after a decent ball in from Kelly - good end to the half from Ireland.
    • 41' But O'Dea then goes long and Walters can't hold it up.
    • 40' Ireland trying to string a few passes together in midfield now at the moment.
    • 38' McClean now playing in an attacking position on the left. Cox has moved to the centre.
    • 37' Serbia's wingers have made some great positions for themselves but their crossing has been poor.
    • 36' Great piece of defending by O'Dea. Paul McShane complained a decision and allowed Tosic to run clear. The former Manchester United man skipped by a few players and looked ready to shoot when O'Dea stormed forward with a great tackle.
    • 35' Paul McShane of all people tries a half-volley shot from the corner of the box - it goes well wide.
    • 34' Every time Westwood gets the ball the target is Walters up the other end of the pitch.
    • 33' A little spell of Serbia pressure ends with a foul - still no really clear chances for either side.
    • 31' Ignjovski skips past his man down the left and whips in a good cross but there is no Serbia player there.
    • 30' Quick break from Serbia - decent cross from the left and Kuzmanovic makes a good run but his header is well over.
    • 29' Stojkovic flaps at a corner, the ball comes out for Whelan (I think) who tries a half-volley but the Partizan keeper gathers well – although the save was a bit Hollywood.
    • 28' Glenn Whelan sees the keeper off his line from near the half-way line and tries a miracle effort - not too far away and Stojkovic push it away for a corner - probably was going wide.
    • 27' McCarthy and McClean with a poor exchange which allows Serbia to break. They win a corner but Kuzmanovic then flashes a header well over.
    • 26' 'Viva The Boys In Green In Carlow' - reads a flag in the Irish section.
    • 25' A lot of people saying that these internationals are pointless and little learnt from these first 25 minutes from either team.
    • 23' John O'Shea heads away a Serbian corner. Ireland losing the possession battle but looking solid enough at the back.
    • 22' McGeady stands up a cross to the far post - no Irish player near it but Kolorov puts it behind for a corner. Again though Walters is fouling when the corner comes in and the chance goes.
    • 20' Walters looks like he is clear through for a moment but Milan Bisevac manages to stick a foot out and block his shot away for a corner that Ireland cannot do anything with.
    • 19' Decent save by Westwood - Kolarov with a long range shot from 35-yards out and Lekic stuck a foot out to redirect it but Westwood got down well to make the save.
    • 18' Kolarov tries one of his long range specials but the shot from the Man City full-back goes well wide of the target.
    • 17' James McCarthy gives the ball away in a dangerous area deep in this own half but is lucky that Serbia cannot take advantage.
    • 15' James McClean picks the ball up in a dangerous area and looks to be lining one up with his left foot before the ball is taking off his foot by a Serbian defender.
    • 14' Westwood comes out of his box to deal with a long ball but needs two swipes to get it away. Not the most convincing piece of goalkeeping you will ever see.
    • 13' Serbia keeper Stojkovic getting whistle whenever he gets the ball - might have something to do with the fact he plays for Partizan Belgrade and we are in the Red Star stadium tonight.
    • 12 Kuzmanovic found in lots of space down the right but his pull-back is poor. Serbia seem to be targeting Stephen Kelly at left-back.
    • 11' McClean showing good composure and class in the middle of the park. Glenn Whelan seems happy to have an extra body in there with him.
    • 9' Few long balls up from the Irish aimed at Walters but he has been charged with fouling on a few occasions already. Serbia do look nervy at the back though so it might be a tactic that works.
    • 7' McClean takes the free-kick but he fires it straight into the wall.
    • 7' Serbia’s form has been poor in recent years – they have dropped down to 37th in the world and a few balls played back to the keeper are greeted by whistles.
    • 6' Serbia’s form has been poor in recent years – they have dropped down to 37th in the world and a few balls played back to the keeper are greeted by whistles.
    • 5' Serbia having more of the ball in these early stages but still early days.
    • 4' Lots of other matches on tonight too: Follow live scores of all the matches here
    • 3' Lekic tries to dink a little ball in behind the Irish defence but there is a little too much on it and Westwood comes out to gather.
    • 2' Early signs are that Ireland are playing 4-3-3 - Cox and McGeady either side of Walters and McClean in a more central position. Will keep an eye on that.
    • 1' And Serbia wearing red shirts and blue shorts get us underway (Ireland in white).
    • 19:47 Little delay to the start but we've had the anthems and John O'Shea and Branislav Ivanovic have swapped pennants – we are ready to go.
    • 19:42 Teams coming out at the Red Star stadium - this isn't a match that has captured the public’s imagination. A very small crowd here and only a handful of Irish fans have made the trip.
    • 19:40 A reminder of the teams in Belgrade: SERBIA: Stojkovic; Ivanovic, Bisevac, Nastasic, Kolorov; Mijailovic, Kuzmanovic, Ignjovski; Tadic Tosic, Lekic. IRELAND: Westwood; McShane, O’Shea (c), O’Dea, Kelly; McGeady, McCarthy, Whelan, McClean; Walters, Long.
    • 19:35 Sinisa Mihajlovic has been in charge since May. Here is what he said ahead of today's match: ): "We will switch to a 4-3-3 system with as many attacking midfielders as we can deploy, because we need several options in order to avoid being predictable. Of course, we would like to have more strikers available, but they have to earn their spot in the squad by playing and scoring more regularly for their clubs."
    • 19:30 Here is how Serbia line-up tonight: Stojkovic; Ivanovic, Bisevac, Nastasic, Kolorov; Mijailovic, Kuzmanovic, Ignjovski; Tadic Tosic, Lekic.
    • 19:25 Shane Long has been deemed fit enough for a place on the bench. Irish bench: Forde, O'Brien, Long, Green, Coleman, Keogh, Delaney, Randolph
    • 19:20 Ireland coach Giovanni Trapattoni hopes several promising youngsters will shine and prove they can replace stalwarts whose international futures are uncertain. Trapattoni hoping youngsters can replace Irish old guard
    • 19:15 No Shay Given of course who retired this week. Robbie Keane, Damien Duff and Richard Dunne all out for this match but that trio have not said they are retiring....yet! Kieren Westwood plays between the sticks - will be interesting to see how he does tonight - the position is his to lose.
    • 19:10 Some breaking news - a late change to the Irish team. Shane Long has a minor leg injury so has been left out - Simon Cox comes in to start alongside Jon Walters.
    • 19:05 The Ireland team tonight: Westwood; McShane, O’Shea (c), O’Dea, Kelly; McGeady, McCarthy, Whelan, McClean; Walters, Long.
    • 19:00 Hello and welcome to our live coverage of this international friendly match in Belgrade between Serbia and the Republic of Ireland.
