    • 21:11 Not the greatest of games here in Gothenburg, but Sweden have got what they came for. And for the second time in four days, Iceland put up a good fight, but go down 3-2.
    • 90+2' FULL TIME: SWEDEN 3-2 ICELAND
    • 90+2' From the corner Jonasson heads the ball beyond Isaksson. Nice finish.
    • 90+2' GOAL: SWEDEN 3-2 ICELAND
    • 90+2' It's going end-to-end at the moment without any, erm, end product. Iceland do have a corner here though.
    • 89' Yellow card for Gislason for a foul on Wernbloom. Did he insult all of their mums or something? They really seem to have it in for him.
    • 87' Bajrami gets another shot in... GREAT SAVE from Halldorsson to tip the ball onto the bar.
    • 85' Sweden looking for a fourth. Bajrami cuts inside to use his unfavoured right foot, and the shot heads wide. Goal kick.
    • 82' ICELAND SUB: Johann Gudmunsson replacesa Bjarnason
    • 80' ICELAND SUB: Eyolfsson replaces Arnason.
    • 80' SWEDEN SUB: Mikael Antonsson replaces Jonas Olsson.
    • 78' Iceland nearly pull one back. Bjarnason heads just wide from 10 yards out, the result of a free-kick for a foul on Sigurdsson.
    • 77' The home side restore their two-goal advantage. A quite terrible clearance by Halldorsson is charged down by Toivonen, who chips the ball over the defensive line to find Wilhelmsson, and the Swedish striker scores with a low finish.
    • 77' GOAL: SWEDEN 3-1 ICELAND
    • 76' Excellent through-ball finds Hysen.. Nope. He should have hit that first time - Ibrahimovic would have. Instead he takes an extra touch and that's enough for Skulason to get the tackle in.
    • 74' Mellberg fouled, and that's a free-kick to Sweden. Predictably its the combative Gunnarsson that concedes it. Hysen can do nothing with the dead ball though.
    • 73' That's about the only significant effort so far since this very flat second half began.
    • 72' Ambitious shot from Bajrami from 30 yards out, but the Iceland keeper Halldorsson still has to get his fingers to it to keep it out safely.
    • 69' Gunnarsson with another swipe at Wernbloom. Lars Lagerback should think about bringing him off before he gets sent off.
    • 67' ICELAND SUB: Eggert Jonsson replaces Danielsson.
    • 66' Corner is played in... MELLBERG WITH A GREAT HEADER DOWNWARDS but it's blocked by Arnason before it gets to the goal. Good effort from the veteran.
    • 65' Great tackle by Toivonen sets Wilhelmsson away... but Sigurdsson makes a good tackle to concede the corner.
    • 64' Hysen gets by the last man. he's in a great position... but his cross into the box - or rather out of the box -is dreadful.
    • 63' Another late foul on Wernbloom by Gunnarsson. A few shoves in there too. Remember, the Icelandic was booked for a foul on the same man not 10 minutes ago!
    • 61' SWEDEN SUB: Christian Wilhelmsson replaces Ibrahimovic.
    • 61' SWEDEN SUB: Samuel Holmen replaces Elm
    • 59' Iceland force a corner that will be taken by Gylfi Sigardsson, who made his move from Hoffenheim to Swansea a permanent one just a couple of days ago. That deal, of course, sorted by the soon-to-be new Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.
    • 57' ICELAND SUB: Alfred Finnbogason replaces the goalscorer Sigthorsson
    • 55' Low shot from Gunnarsson is off-target and lacking in power. Shame, as he'd got himself into a great position on the edge of the box too.
    • 54' Gislason is continuing to have an excellent game against Safari. he keeps the ball despite good pressure from the Swedes.
    • 53' A number of Iceland subs are warming up. Looks like Lars Lagerback will be making some changes soon.
    • 52' Aron Gunnarson receives the first yellow card of the night for a clumsy tackle on Wernbloom.
    • 50' He gets up though. No lasting damage.
    • 49' Nasty-looking fall for Elm, who goes for a header and then falls holding his back.
    • 47' Three changes for Sweden at the break then and now Hysen has a chance to stake his claim for the striker role - remember, Johan Elmander is still struggling after an infection, despite being included in the Euro squad.
    • 46' SWEDEN SUB: Emir Bajrami replaces Larsson.
    • 46' SWEDEN SUB: Pontus Wernbloom replaces Kallstrom.
    • 46' SWEDEN SUB: Tobias Hysen comes on for Rosenberg
    • 46' The second half begins.
    • 20:02 So we reach the break with the score 2-1 to the hosts. And a representitive score it is too. Join us again at 20:15 BST for the second half.
    • 45' HALF-TIME: SWEDEN 2-1 ICELAND
    • 43' Skulason keeps getting these useful crosses in. This time Sigthorsson fouls Mellberg and gives away a free-kick in the Swedish area.
    • 41' Kallstrom steps up to hit it with his sweet left foot, but clears the bar by about a yard.
    • 41' Iceland give the ball away in their own area, but there's no support for Kallstrom, who picks up the loose one. Some decent build-up play ends with a foul on Rasmus Elm 25 yards out. Free-kick to the Swedes.
    • 40' Safari makes a brilliant run to get the cross in from the left, but it's just a little too high for Rosenberg. It's put out for a corner that comes to nothing.
    • 38' Worth noting that neither Isaksson nor his opposite number Haldorsson have made a save yet.
    • 37' Iceland win a corner as Gislason's cross is turned away by Safari. It's none other than Ibrahimovic a yard off his own line to hook the ball away.
    • 36' Quick break from Sweden finds Ibrahimovic. Lovely low cross in for Rosengberg, but Arnason slides in to intercept. That could so easily have been three.
    • 34' Iceland are seeing far more posession though, the Swedes having taken their feet off the gas somewhat. And the atmosphere has dimmed too. Time for the crowd to pick it up again and inspire their boys surely?
    • 32' Since the Iceland goal, all the midfield balls have been hit the way of Skulason on the left. Talk about one-dimensional.
    • 27' Even a 100 per cent fit Isaksson (he's playing despite still suffering with a shoulder injury) wouldn't have got there.
    • 26' It's Sigthorsson who scores it to add to the one he netted against France last weekend. The Ajax striker with a beautiful glancing header to score from Skulason's excellent cross from the left touchline.
    • 26' GOAL!! Sweden 2-1 Iceland.
    • 25' Behrang Safari is looking like Sweden's weak link so far as Gislason is having a fair bit of joy against him. Just 65 minutes for something animal-related to happen and create a joyous pun!
    • 22' Nasty little clash of heads between Rosenberg and Gunnarsson. Both can continue without needing a physio.
    • 19' Lovely flick by Ibrahimovic, who is playing a free role tonight. Unfortunatley for his team-mates, a beautiful backheel is intercepted by Ragnar Sigurdsson.
    • 15' An excellent first 15 minutes from Sweden, who haven't played a match - competitive or otherwise - since February.
    • 15' That's the PSV Eindhoven man's fifth international goal.
    • 14' After some great interplay between Kim Kallstrom and Behrang Safari, Ibrahimovic outmuscles his marker and plays a low cross right across the face of goal. Ola Toivonen meets it and can't miss from a yard out.
    • 14' GOAL!!! Sweden 2-0
    • 12' From the good to the very bad. Ari Skulason plays a long ball back to his own keeper, and nearly manages to score a comical own goal. Halldorsson gets his head to it and puts it out for a Sweden corner that comes to nothing. Think David Beckham v Wimbeldon and you get the idea,.
    • 10' Just as I say that Gislason bursts down the right side, evading Olsson and pulling a great ball across the face of goal. Nobody to find it though.
    • 8' Iceland's midfielders have looked pretty tidy on the ball so far, but haven't produced anything to worry Sweden yet.
    • 6' Rurik Gislasson forces a corner for Iceland, but he can't get his head to the ball once it's crossed in. A nasty bounce nearly catches out the entire Swedish defence, but it's former Wigan defender Andreas Granqvist - now a Genoa player - getting it away.
    • 4' Sweden are getting a lot of joy down the flanks here. This time it's Santander forward Markus Rosenberg crossing in from the left. Ibrahimovic picks up wide of the area and plays in a shorter ball that Toivonen can't find the target with.
    • 2' For the stattos among you, that's his 30th international goal in 76 games.
    • 2' Well that didn't take long, did it? Larsson again breaks down the right and crosses into the box for Ibrahimovic to volley in. It wasn't the cleanest of hits, the ball being hit low and taking a bounce before defeating Hannes Thor Halldorsson.
    • 2' GOAL!!! Sweden 1-0 Iceland
    • 1' Sweden have a chance within 35 seconds as Sebastian Larsson goes charging down the right flank and crosses the ball low for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but it's cut out well by Hallgrimur Jonasson.
    • 1' We're underway with Iceland kicking us off.
    • 19:10 ICELAND TEAM: Halldorsson; Arnason; Johansson; R.Sigurdsson; Skulason; Gislason; Gunnarsson; Danielsson; G.Sigurdsson; Bjarnason; Sigthorsson. SUBS: Hedinsson; Jonsson; Gunleifsson; Magnusson; Gudmunsson; Valgardsson; Eyjolfsson; Finnbogason.
    • 19:05 SWEDEN TEAM: Isaksson; Safari; Granqvist; Mellberg; Olsson; Kallstrom; Elm; Larsson; Rosenberg; Toivonen; Ibrahimovic. SUBS: Hansson; Wilhelmsson; Antonsson; Wiland; Holmen; Bajrami; Hysen; Wernbloom.
    • 19:00 The Icelandics' big threat is Ajax forward Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, a scorer against France and sure to be a thorn in the side tonight.
    • 18:55 Their opponents tonight though will be no walkovers. Managed by former Sweden coach Lars Lagerback, the Icelandics were looking set for a shock win over France last weekend, only to see their defence collapse and slump to a 3-2 defeat.
    • 18:50 This is an interesting game for England fans as Swede nwill be their second opponents at Euro 2012 on June 15. So tonight's line-up could well be a pointer towards who will take on Roy Hodgson's men.
