    • 20' Omar Migineishvili dives across the goal to nudge the free-kick from McClean over the bar. Fine stop from the new man.
    • 19' Off goes Zhano Ananidze with Omar Migineishvili brought on. Georgia's plans up in tatters then really.
    • 18' Omar Migineishvili is going to arrive here for Georgia, who must wheel off an outfield player for this friendly match.
    • 17' RED CARD FOR LORIA! Goalkeeper sent packing for taking out Long as he raced through the middle. Awful stuff from Georgia really to give the ball away.
    • 16' Bright enough start for Ireland. Just need a goal now to go with some of their attacking intentions.
    • 15' McClean earns Ireland a corner. Wilson uncorks a shot from 22 yards out. Plenty of venom in the shot, but ball always swerving wide.
    • 14' Should have been the opening goal for Ireland. Meanwhile, Loria is needing some treatment here. Can understand why Long kicked a post in frustration.
    • 13' Brilliant run by Long into the heart of the Georgia box. Manages to get the shot at goal, but Loria dives to make the stop. Fine save.
    • 12' The home fans trying to encourage some momentum in the home side. Easier said than done.
    • 11' Long almost onto the end of McClean's cross before he heads over seconds later. Georgia again well positioned.
    • 10' Wilson decides to try his luck from 35 yards out. Plenty of pace on the effort, but ball always rising over the bar from that range.

    • 8' A Wilson pass for Long is cut out. Georgia looking well organised in defence.
    • 7' Temuri Ketsbaia sporting a pair of jeans out there. Looking all very relaxed as Ireland carry the game to their opponents.
    • 6' Long just fails to gallop onto a long ball out wide to him. Georgia with just that one chance so far.
    • 5' Kobakhidze's effort is blocked from distance. Both teams trying to get on the front foot early on.
    • 4' Long just fails to pick out McClean with a long ball over the top, but the Sunderland man doesn't react quickly enough.
    • 3' Gelashvili almost in ahead of Westwood, but can only knock the volley wide of goal from an acute angle. No need for Westwood to come scampering off his line.
    • 2' Ireland keeping the ball with some ease at the back. Gorgeous day for football it must be said.
    • 1' Republic of Ireland get the action off and running at the Aviva. Republic in black, Georgia in white.
    • 17:27 Teams out on the pitch and we are almost ready to go in this one. Not exactly a full house in this evening. Not entirely unexpected.
    • 17:25 Georgia team: Loria, Lobjanidze, Khizanishvili, Kvirkvelia, Khubutia, Kankava (C), Kashia, Daushvili, Ananidze, Kobakhidze, Gelashvili
    • 17:20 Georgia manager Temuri Ketsbaia: "I had a fantastic time. My time in British football was my best time as a football player. The atmosphere, the pitches, everything is at a high level - that's the reason that everybody wants to go and play in England. It was for me the best time. Also, I have good friends, starting with Shay (Given). We played together at Newcastle for three years and we still contact with each other. I have many good things to remember, not only kicking the boards."
    • 17:15 Giovanni Trapattoni: "In the U21s, there are good players, but at this moment, it's better for us to try the other players, like (Jeff) Hendrick. It's very important that the team improves together, but not with too many young players because it's not easy. We have young players - we have (James) McCarthy and (Seamus) Coleman who have just played against England at Wembley. For us, it was very important because playing at Wembley is very, very tough."
    • 17:10 Richard Dunne is set to play some part, despite the central defender not having turned out for Aston Villa or Ireland this season. Hull winger Robbie Brady has been ruled out with a groin injury, while goalkeeper David Forde, who had his right knee heavily strapped on Thursday, trained in the gym, but is unlikely to figure against the Georgians. Full-back Marc Wilson has recovered from a hamstring injury though. He starts.
    • 17:05 Republic of Ireland team: Westwood; Wilson, R Keogh, Delaney, McShane; A Keogh, McCarthy, Hoolahan, McClean; Cox..subs: Randolph, Coleman, Whelan, McGeady, Keane, Kelly, Quinn, Meyler, Hendrick, Sammon, Dunne

Richard Dunne makes the subs bench after claiming to be injured the whole season for Villa ? He didnt contribute one single minute towards the battle to stay up. Richard Dunne is a taritor and Villa should sue him and claim back the whole seasons wages.
