    • 58' Estonia have also shuffled their pack with Jarmo Ahjupera replacing Oper for the visiting team.
    • 57' Kink has collected a yellow card. Not sure what that was about. A spot of dissent by all accounts.

    • 45+1' There goes the whistle for the break. Scotland lead 1-0 at half-time. So far, so good for Scotland.
    • 44' We are into one minute of time added on.
    • 43' Ojamaa with a late challenge of Mulgrew who ends up flying onto the gravel track at the side of the park. Could have done without that.
    • 42' Estonia with a goalkick. Brown being battered and bruised in the midfield areas, but holding up well. The Celtic captain skippering his country under Strachan.
    • 41' Mulgrew with a dipping, swerving delivery from the corner. Pareiko comes and misses the delivery, but Berra heads wide.
    • 40' Hutton thumps the ball at goal from distance, but easy enough for Pareiko to make the stop.
    • 39' Estonia continue to bleed late challenges as Fletcher and Hutton are felled late within minutes of each other.
    • 38' Strachan with the applause as his side head into a 1-0 lead just before half-time. Should give them a boost.

    • 34' Teniste toiling to deal with Burke as a tug on the shirt earns Scotland another free-kick, this time out wide.

    • 32' Puri's shot blocked by Mulgrew before the second attempt trundles through to McGregor in the home goal.
    • 31' Estonia settled down somewhat after that initial period of home pressure. Looking a fair bit more assured in their movements.
    • 30' Vassilijev with a super ball over the top. Kink races through, but McGregor is off his line to make a brave diving block. Vital stop.
    • 29' Looks like there might be some joy from that avenue if Scotland can get the right weight on the delivery.
    • 28' Burke with a lovely run and cross again. Burke just fails to get on the end of the cross with Teniste left trailing out wide.
    • 27' Scotland yet to cut a dash through the middle of that visiting defence despite their best intentions.
    • 26' A white shirt manages to head out the cross from Adam. Naismith then penalised for a foul on Vassilijev.
    • 25' Teniste thumps a shot at goal from 35 yards out. Not too far away from finding the target. Estonia dangerous on the break.
    • 24' Mulgrew's free-kick only partially cleared before Scotland pick up. Ojamaa then drags Estonia up the park on the break to earn his side a corner.
    • 23' Mosnikov brings down Naismith, who earns another free-kick around 40 yards or so out.
    • 22' Klavan goes right through the back of Fletcher. Wasn't hanging about with that one. Scotland continue to win a series of free-kicks.
    • 21' Pareiko thumps the ball long from deep. And on we go with Scotland continuing to look the more dangerous side.
    • 20' Promising run and shot by Maloney, but Pareiko dives to his left to make the stop low down. Fine piece of play by Scotland. Estonia survive.
    • 19' Oper bundles Webster to the ground and that is a free-kick to the home side just inside the Estonia half.
    • 18' Burke holds up a superb cross, but Fletcher heads inches over. Great cross and great header, but the finish is just off target.
    • 17' Berra knocks the ball away from Oper. Estonia look lively enough when they get themselves into the Scotland half.
    • 16' Estonia seem to be aware of the problems Burke is causing out there. Not lacking confidence so far, and taking up some nice positions.
    • 15' Brown quickly onto a loose ball. Just overhits the pass looking for Burke before Scotland regroup seconds later.
    • 14' Fine run and cross by Ojamaa, but no takers on hand in the middle to finish. Glorious piece of play.
    • 13' Gordon Strachan poring over the goings on. Much be pleased by how his side have started this match tonight.
    • 12' Scotland with an enormous 80% of possession so far. Most of it back in their own half.
    • 11' Scotland trying to keep the ball, but this pitch is like a farmer's field. Ball bobbling all over the place.
    • 10' Berra and Oper down on the deck after a clash of heads going for a corner. Oper seems to have come off worse.
    • 9' Estonia have done little or nothing so far. But McGregor is then forced to nudge a long-range strike by Taijo Teniste over his bar. Superb diving stop.
    • 8' Jaager with a superb heading clearance away from the cross by Burke, who is enjoying some early joy out wide.
    • 7' Adam leans back and lifts a free-kick miles over the bar from 30 yards. Bit disappointing to say the least.
    • 6' Mulgrew with a few decent cross balls from corners early on out there. Sergei Pareiko again off his line to punch clear.
    • 5' Burke drives a corner into the side netting and that will be a goalkick to the visiting side.
    • 4' Sergei Pareiko makes a decent save to halt a volley by Shaun Maloney. The Wigan man should perhaps have done better there.
    • 3' Burke on the ball. Slips the ball to Hutton, whose cross is cut out. Scotland have a corner here.
    • 2' That pitch not exactly looking the best. Describing it as threadbare would be a kind description. Scotland trying to get themselves on the ball early on.
    • 1' Scotland get the match off and running at a fairly fresh Pittodrie.
    • 19:42 New Scotland manager Gordon Strachan given a rousing reception by the home supporters. Decent atmosphere inside Pittodrie for this one.
    • 19:40 Odds for this one: Scotland start off as favourites. Scotland (4/7) Estonia (4/1) and the draw is (14/5).
    • 19:35 Estonia have won two of their last three away games, though those wins did come against Oman and Andorra. Jordan Rhodes has scored eight goals in last eight appearances in all competitions for Blackburn and has seven in his last six league games.
    • 19:30 Gordon Strachan’s side have lost just four of their last 25 home games in all competitions, with those defeats coming against Italy, Argentina, Netherlands and Spain.
    • 19:25 Scotland have faced Estonia seven times in all competitions and are yet to lose (W5 D2). Scotland have won all three previous home games against Estonia, scoring eight goals and conceding just three.
    • 19:20 Tarmo Ruutli of Estonia: "Scotland are a fierce opponent. Football is very important in their way of life, and highly rated. The atmosphere at the stadium is going to be special and we must be ready to adapt to the circumstances. In addition to the fact that they have a new head coach, which means that all the players need to prove themselves, the match against Estonia is a very important moment for the Scottish national team. You could say everything points in their favour.”
    • 19:15 Gordon Strachan: “I spoke to a lot of (SPL) managers recently and I’m trying to do the best for the group and the best for the managers. The team that is picked is the best one we can put out tomorrow. We’re taking into consideration the last time they played, the conditions they played in and who’ll be playing at the weekend. We’ll try to help them and try to get something positive for ourselves.”
    • 19:10 Celtic skipper Scott Brown will lead out the team for the first time. Gary Caldwell and Kenny Miller have shared captaincy duties in the absence of Darren Fletcher, who is battling a chronic bowel condition, but Caldwell has returned to Wigan with an injury and 33-year-old Kenny Miller on the bench with Vancouver Whitecaps striker is in the midst of his close season. Steven Fletcher starts up front. Blackburn defender Grant Hanley and Celtic winger James Forrest have returned to their clubs.
    • 19:10 Leeds striker Ross McCormack has been withdrawn from Gordon Strachan's first Scotland squad due to illness. The 26-year-old, overlooked for the majority of previous coach Craig Levein's spell in charge, had been recalled to the senior squad for the first time since last August by Strachan, who will be overseeing his first game as national coach. McCormack, who has scored two goals in eight appearances for his country, has pulled out of the game with Estonia at Pittodrie due to a heavy cold.
