    Time:90'
    • Internazionale
    • AS Roma
    • 90+3 And that's it from the San Siro, Roma run out 3-1 winners.
    • 90+1 Roma sit deep as the fourth official signals for three added minutes.
    • 90' Osvaldo has seen red for a second booking. Handball it looks like and that is harsh, more ball to hand.
    • 88' Roma are doing well now to just retain possession. And the hosts’ frustrations boil over in the form of some rather late challenges.
    • 86' Inter to their credit continue to chase the game but it just appears not to be their night. The usually accurate Sneijder sees another ball drift out of play.
    • 83' The home fans stream out of the San Siro.
    • 81' Osvaldo turns provider, he clips a ball into Marquinho, who takes it on the run and from the tightest of angles on the six yard box fires Roma into what is surely an unassailable lead. 1-3.
    • 79' Marquinho flashes an effort past the post of Castellazzi from a good 25 yards out.
    • 77' Milito is adjudged to backed in as frustrations rise in the San Siro.
    • 75' Inter really pushing for the equaliser now but are leaving gaps at the back, which Roma are beginning to exploit.
    • 72' Roma rather patiently playing the ball around in front of the Inter defence before Sneijder intervenes and looks to play Palacio in over the top. Stekelenburg mops up at the back.
    • 70' Huge gap in the Inter defence there though. Silvestre at fault.
    • 69' On the balance of second half play, Roma deserve that.
    • 67' Having said that Totti’s influence has waned, the Roma captain threads a delightful ball through to the hitherto wasteful Osvaldo, who lifts it over the onrushing Castellazzi. Tremendous finish. 1-2.
    • 67' Cambiasso on for the home side.
    • 67' A decent measure of how open this game has been and the ground the players have covered is the fact that Pereira has gone off with cramp.
    • 66' Osvaldo goes a fraction too soon – poor that as he was looking across the line.
    • 65' Totti’s influence has waned. Particularly this half.
    • 62' Both teams giving the fans a great game here. Silvestre does well to head an Osvaldo cross up and over the bar – it could have went anywhere that one.
    • 59' This is the most open game I have seen in some time. Guarin receives from Sneijder, cuts inside and draws a save from Stekelenburg with effort that bounces up in front of the goalkeeper.
    • 56' Inter with another corner. Stekelenburg claims.
    • 54' Sneijder finds Guarin in space and galloping toward goal but his touch lets him down and he is forced wide. The shot, from a tighter angle than it needed to be, was easily charged down.
    • 51' This is real end to end stuff here but the quality final ball continues to lack.
    • 49' Osvaldo passes up another presentable chance, this time he snatches at a loose ball and his effort is high and wild, again.
    • 47' Roma begin the second half as they did the first and Osvaldo misses a gilt edged opportunity. Sneijder drops back to defend, but, in doing so, inadvertently plays the Roma forward onside. He is found inside the box with time and space but lifts his effort high and wide.
    • 46' Inter get the second half underway.
    • 45+2 And thats it from the first half.
    • 45+1 The hard work pays off from Cassano as he once again gets in behind to collect a Sneijder ball over the top, he holds off two men before working a bit of space and his shot from just inside the box takes a large deflection off Burdisso to loop over Stekelenburg to draw the home side level. 1-1.
    • 45' Zanetti with a last ditch challenge as Osvaldo looked to get in behind.
    • 43' Sneijder with a free-kick from 25 yards out following a late challenge, but, although he gets it over the wall, Stekelenburg is equal to it.
    • 41' Cassano again works the channel but his cross is just too high for Sneijder, who can’t arch his neck high enough to direct the header on target.
    • 39' Nagatomo breaks forward and cuts inside into the box but his effort – although powerful – is always rising.
    • 37' Cassano showing a lot of passion out there – he challenges every decision but his passing has been decidedly errant thus far.
    • 36' For all their territorial superiority in much of the half, their only chance of note has been Milito’s header.
    • 35' Pereira with what can only be very generously described as a speculative effort.
    • 34' Inter are starting to get a foothold in the game now. Cassano is just beyond the shoulder of the last man and is flagged so but the hosts are starting to threaten.
    • 32' Marquinhos for perpetual Manchester City target De Rossi
    • 31' Big blow for Roma as De Rossi looks like he might have to come off.
    • 29' The corner count continues to rise for Inter and this time they get the delivery right. Sneijder plays it short and gets the return before whipping in a tempting ball with the outside of his right boot. Milito gets in front of his man inside the six yard box but can only head wide.
    • 27' If he is anything, he is a willing runner and Milito runs the channel to win a corner. Once again though the delivery is not up to scratch.
    • 25' Roma continue to look to get in behind and this time it is Florenzi who wins a throw. They work it short and when the ball is swung over into the box it is just out of the reach of Osvaldo.
    • 23' Getting a little spikey out there as a few robust challenges fly in. The referee calms it down with a dropped ball.
    • 21' Totti finding - and using - the space on offer. He finds Osvaldo in the box but the forward is adjudged to have infringed.
    • 19' This is a very open contest with the front three of Roma finding lots of space.
    • 17' Milito springs the offside trap but Stekelenburg is quick off his line to challenge the forward and the ball is out for a throw. An almost immediate riposte.
    • 15' Florenzi makes a brilliantly timed run to get on the end of a beautiful Totti cross to head past Castellazzi in the Inter goal from just left of the penalty spot. 0-1.
    • 13' Pereira puts in a teasing, curled cross that Stekelenburg can only flap at. He was lucky that there was no one lurking there.
    • 11' Osvaldo collects the ball on the edge of the area but his dinked through ball is well defended. Too tight there to try to thread that ball through. Inter are playing very narrow – it would have been better to go wide there.
    • 9' Piris follows his man and concedes a corner down the left. Inter go short but Milito’s attempted cross is easily defended.
    • 8' Roma in the ascendancy here.
    • 6' Very quick start to the game in Milan. Roma win a throw down the right.
    • 5' Inter work the ball between Milito, Sneijder and Guarin before the latter’s through ball to Sneijder is intercepted – he claims handball but the referee is having none of it.
    • 3' Roma move the ball around nicely and much of it through their talisman Totti. Eventually they work some space for De Rossi but he gets right under his effort from about twenty yards out.
    • 1' Roma get the game underway and they’re straight on the attack.
    • 19:44 And we're moments from kick-off at the San Siro.
    • - Inter: L. Castellazzi, J. Zanetti, A. Ranocchia, M. Silvestre, Y. Nagatomo, W. Gargano, F. Guarin, Á. Pereira, W. Sneijder, D. Milito, A. Cassano. Subs: R. Palacio, Jonathan, E. Cambiasso, W. Samuel, V. Belec, Philippe Coutinho, Juan, M. Livaja, A. Duncan, M. Cincilla.
    • - Roma: M. Stekelenburg, N. Burdisso, L. Castan, F. Balzaretti, D. De Rossi, P. Tachtsidis, A. Florenzi, M. Destro, F. Totti, I. Piris, D. Osvaldo. Subs: B. Lobont, R. Taddei, M. Pjanic, Marquinho, E. Lamela, T. Svedkauskas, N. López, Marquinhos, A. Romagnoli.
    • 19:40 This fixture has been billed as an early test of either side’s title credentials, and while Stramaccioni's side made an impressive start to their Serie A campaign with a 3-0 win over Pescara last weekend, their visitors started with a disappointing 2-2 draw against Catania. That draw prompted Zdenek Zeman to be critical of his side's "pointless'' passing during that fixture.
    • 19:35 Andrea Stramaccioni's side will still be missing first choice goalkeeper Samir Handanovic through injury. Álvaro Pereira, a summer signing from Porto, is in the squad but may only start on the bench. Roma's Brazilian defender Dodo remains out and Michael Bradley is a doubt. That aside, Zdenek Zeman has a full side to choose from. Full team news to follow.
