  1. What is going on we were playing at Anfield for goodness sake and Roy Rodgers announces on TV that the best team won. Well the manager and the players will cry all the way to the bank.. I have seen many teams come to Anfield and have been played off the park and we have lost which can happen, but to say that Swansea is a better team than Liverpool shows how submissive the manager and his team can be and that has to be rectified and quickly. I was not convinced on Kenny's appointment but I saw a united effort and he and Clarke played some of the best football we have seen at Anfield for years. they definitely deserved more time. The American owners cannot possibly understand about our sport and or about Liverpool football club. The only way they can hope to succeed is by getting their cheque book out for the next three years. "And by the way give us a song before you go Roy".

  2. Any one who still thinks Liverpool do not have insurmmountable problems to overcome dfinitely needs to see a brain surgeon right now without any delay. This club is not in any way on the way up in my own opinion. In fairness, I am not blaming Rodgers for any of these problems and neither should anyone in my view. He inheritted perhaps what was essentially the worst Liverpool team in living memory and his cause was not helped when the Board allowed all the strikers to leave without any replacements. If it does not happen this year, should things continue to deteriorate, I give this club another one or two more seasons before it starts playing in the Championship unless the American owners wake up to the truth starring them in the face. Football or soccer cannot be run like their so-called American football and the earlier they wake up to that fact the better it will be for Liverpool and us the supporters. The Americans have been largely responsible for Liverpool's problems, although I must admit that Kenny Dalglish also contributed in no small measure by signing Championship players like Carroll, Downing, Henderson, Adam etc at such crazy prices. Given the time, I can see Rodgers succeeding where Dalglish failed miserably. But first, he must be given funds to sign better players and not being asked to manage with below average players he has now.

  9. Always a 2 man team,Torres and Gerrard then,it's Suarez and Gerrard now. And mind you Gerrard is gradually fading away,I bet in time it will be Allen and Sterling... Can't stop laughing.. Y.N.W.A ( You'll Never Win Again ).

  10. 134... "Jealous"? My #$%$. Your comments typify the pungent smell of delusion & denial of hypocrites who if they can't latch on to the old "injustices" syndrome, revert back to that old stalwart, "our glorious history", blah, blah, blah. Tune into Babe-Station fella...might relieve the frustration & calm u down. Nite-nite.

  13. Yawn, these comments about how many tropheys the pool have won in the past reminds me of a joke. How many Liverpudlians does it take to change a light bulb? None. They would sooner sit in the dark and talk about the old one.

  14. Comment hidden due to its low rating. Show

Funny how most comments here are from fans of other teams putting the boot in. Jealous much? Liverpool have won more trophies than the vast majority of other clubs combined. OK, we're going through a transitional period, but with a young manager, a young squad, (hopefully) a redeveloped stadium and a few bob to spend on players, we'll be back challenging for major trophies in the near future. Well done Swansea tonight, a team brought to where they are by Brendan Rodgers. I'd still rather be a Liverpool fan going forward.

  15. SO..."Starfish" & Rodgers...WHAT "injustices" issues & bitter comments can you allude to tonight? NONE...well & truly beaten, a wake-up call which will hopefully put an end to this persisent, bleating, deluded dross you have been spewing out in recent weeks. Dee-jays in Southport be warned...Stevie's scowling & making a complete douche of himself lately. Someone is gonna cop for it.

  19. don't say that liverpool were bad.Look at the lineup.how is henderson defending!??clearly rodgers is focusing on the league by resting players for the newcastle united match. What KD didn't understand is that the premiere league should always come first. Not to mention the fact that swansea played really well.
