    • 21.43 Ryan Tunnicliffe’s dad apparently put a tenner on his son playing for Manchester United’s first team when he was nine years old. He made his debut in the League Cup and his father stands to pick up £10,000 tomorrow morning. Nice work if you can get it.

  1. One thing about the heavy criticism Man U received after the weekend. Fight Hard Play Better, Well Done

  2. Great to see all these kids coming through - the future's orange , the future's United

From Politician Stole My Money, on Thu 27 Sep 20:57
  3. Cards fan, exactly what I said in 193 !! Pardew should have realised Man Utd would have a weakened team and risked a better team of his own. Really earned a new 8 year contract there alright !!!

From Joseph, on Thu 27 Sep 18:13
  4. Joseph, I was referring to the comment before that one. If Man Utd had fielded their first team against ours, then yes I also agree that they would have won. However, they never do in this cup. This was a cup we should have taken seriously and tried to win, instead they throw it away.

  10. EdwardR,sorry so ,but you are the wrong one to call anyone thick !! Yes we beat MK Dons, but with 10 men and yes if you look I condemned Cattermole myself,so whats your point? Oh sorry, I'm not allowed to poke fun at the Mighty Magpies eh? You were beaten by a Man Utd team with two kids as centre backs amongst others, and others returning from injury, you resorted to hump the ball up to Shola and Cisse a la Stoke City (even from throw ins). You deserve what you get for not playing your better players !! Now pi55 -off you havent a clue what you are talking about !!

From Joseph, on Thu 27 Sep 13:45

  12. SUPERMAN What a dour match , you could have Anderson scoring 3 goals if he so desired by attacking a mediocre Newcastle defence , who gave too much room and respect to the second-string United team. Why don't teams set-up a plan to press teams in their own half so they cannot comfortably play the ball out of defence , like Barcelona , Real and Athletica Mardid do, that way no team is suprising the opposition by neat interplay and setting up chances , like Anderson did with his runs from midfield , arms splaying out , pushing players away from challenges and zigzagging with George Best disdained through the disjointed defence to score his goal............PELE ONCE AGAIN? Even the least known United player/s had an easy time looking special on the ball because Newcastle let them play out of their own half , too often and too easily, WHY WHY WHY opposition get psyched out of playing with more verve and aggression against United , just like Everton did and Stoke do? Teams don't seem to believe that they stand a chance of upsetting United , even at Old Trafford, they digress into defensive stalemate and get suprised by the mistakes and penalties and free-kicks from United.............who greedily accept every error that teams make ......and virtually give them a match , which sometimes they don't deserved.

From Stanislaw, on Thu 27 Sep 10:15
  13. On to more serious things, well done Man Utd kids, you played some good stuff , as opposed to the NUFC hump the ball to Shola and Cisse tactics. Didnt take long for owt above grass Tiote and Bighairirama to get the yellows out !!

From Joseph, on Thu 27 Sep 10:13
  14. at last cisse has scored a goal this season he has been so unlucky, good game lads nearly won that lads and pardew said the premier league was his main goal so iam not botherd

From James, on Thu 27 Sep 10:13
  15. Cards fan,"lame and pathetic", all Ive did is state if Man Utd had themselves fielded a stronger team I reckon they would have beaten you. Oh that makes me thick as well I suppose !! You Geordies just dont like the truth, you think your team is great and has no right to be defeated, hence "NEWCASTLE UNITED WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED !! Ha Ha Ha ,where do you lot get off ??? No wonder the rest of the football world laughs at you !!

From Joseph, on Thu 27 Sep 10:08
  16. Funtastic MANU with wonderful game and i appreciate the players from MANU

From Bil, on Thu 27 Sep 7:12
  17. Joseph, as usual you comments are lame and pathetic. Both clubs fielded weakened teams. I disgusted with the Newcastle management for not taking this cup seriously. We should have been trying to win this.

From Cards Fan, on Thu 27 Sep 6:14
  18. Man U youth team vs Newcastle youth team... with the odd player coming back from injury in both teams. Neither side was bothered if they won or not. Pardew and Ashley stated at the start of the season that the EPL was no.1 priority and Europe was no.2 priority and that there was no room or a big enough squad for cup runs. So this game cannot be held reflective of either team's full strength.

    From Sleepy-Jazz, on Thu 27 Sep 4:44
  19. MANU might have won this game, but bthere is still much to be desired. I have said this and will say it again; David de gea is simply not a goalkeeper. He does not inspire his back line. He is one rare goalkeeper easily beaten from airborn dwels. Look at the goal from Cisse; what in the world was he doing in the goalpost? Was luck not on their side, Cisse There is no goalkeeper without some weakness, but this guy simply does not belong here.Very surprised SAF does not see it that way.Go in search of a keeper worth the calling sir!

From mbah, on Thu 27 Sep 0:17
  20. Which club should we compare to MAN UNITED !! I beleive no one fans what is your objection::::::::::::::!!!!!!!??????
