  2. Last season we played well in some of the first games and got no points. This season we're playing average but have wins in all games. I know which I would prefer.

  4. LFC paid the penalty for doing exactly what they did against Stoke and Villa, dominated and scored 1st half then took their foot off the pedal 2nd half they need to concentrate in the 2nd half of games and put them to bed not put themselves into the position they have tonight. Against Utd on Sunday will be a different game regardless that some first players have played the whole game, all the LFC players will be up for the game just as they always are just hope whoever the ref is he doesen't continue the trend of awarding blatent never in a million years dives for penalties eg Valencia against Johnson who the cameras proved never touched him.

  5. HOW CAN ANYBODY SAY THEY WILL BE TIRED AGAINST MAN UNT?? i used t work 12 hour shifts then play football for 1-2 hours go to the pub and work the next day and if it was still nice weathere go and play football again and have some more beer after?? and they get paid stupid money and should be fit as #$%$ ??

  6. Harder than it should have been, but full credit to County. To come back from 0-2 down at Anfield shows real character.

From mathew, on Tue 27 Aug 22:24
  7. Full credit to Notts County, what an effort they put in and were unlucky. I hope this game is a massive wake up call to FSG that they need to get the cheque book out and sign a couple of defenders annd possibly another striker as it looks like Borini could be on his way. There's no way we can coompete with such a small squad, and we can't put all our hopes on teenagers. Glad to be through but would've preferred an injury free night.

From Yaldy, on Tue 27 Aug 22:23

  10. Damn! kolo was in my fantasy team! Should have fielded all reserve team. No-one cares about the league cup! gonna be knackered on sat.. maybe a wakeup call for FSG cough up the $$$ to sign a decent player or two. As if they care, they probably communicate to the club overseas by ticker tape.

From Daniel, on Tue 27 Aug 22:16
  11. We've played better with 10 players than we have for a lot of the game with 11, I have no idea what in the hell that says about how we've played tonight except that we obviously have dismissed Notts County before the match and have paid for it twice with two good goals. I hope we can win now it is 4-2 but still can't shake the feeling it is an unfair reflection on the match as County have not been 2 goals worse than Liverpool. On the form of this match, we don't seem to have improved much from last season, or at least not enough to break into the top four.
