  2. I see Yahoo have lost the comments again; long live internet security! Had me worried for a bit, but we came back well for a deserved 3 points. Expected a closer game, but won't complain! Have to admit to feeling sorry for the Plymouth fans - been let down by the suits as we have. Hope your season picks up from here - except for the game at Vale Park, of course! TWOY

  5. If we play as well as we did against Tranmere and Rotherham, this should be another 3 points in the bag, but any Vale supporter knows life isn't as simple as that! Plymouth also gave us a good game at home last season when their season was falling apart, so they will doubtless do the same again this time. Great that the Pope seems to have found his scoring boots and putting 6 past Rotherham is no mean feat, though it would've been good to keep another clean sheet. 3rd in the table and rising, which is more than can be said for Chesterfield. What a good move Rico made! I thought we wouldn't miss him as his first touch was poor, his distribution likewise and his temperament suspect. The Pope and Dodds are combining well in the centre and Vincent and M-W are using the wings well. Combine that with a tight defence, and promotion looks a strong possibility. Just think what Mickey could do if he had some money! TWOY!
