    Time:90'
    • Manchester City
    • Everton
    • 94' FULL TIME. Everton win convincingly at Eastlands thanks to goals from Tim Cahill and Mikel Arteta.
    • 93' Free header from Santa Cruz - heads over froma Bellamy corner kick.
    • 91' Mancini pushes David Moyes as he chases a stray ball. The two managers sqaure up, and are both sent off! Pretty tame, though Mancini shouldn't have pushed Moyes.
    • 90' Four added minutes here as Zabaleta snaps at a shot and shoots over. The fans are streaming out now...
    • 85' Rodwell skins Kompany with a neat turn. The yonugster squares the ball to Cahill who dummies and leaves it for Arteta to score his fourth goal in four games. Sublime goal by Everton!
    • 85' GOAL TO EVERTON 2-0.
    • 83' Nope. Despite looking in serious pain, the American soldiers on...
    • 82' Barry wins a corner. Bellamy takes it on the left wing and it is punched clear by Howard who collapses in a heap after landing on his hip. That is surely the end of his night.
    • 81' Kompany splits the Everton defence and finds Santa Cruz who shoots high and wide under pressure from Baines.
    • 77' Corner is cleared by City. A foul by Zabaleta on the right though as Baines lines up...it's straight at the wall though. Waste.
    • 76' Barry gives away cheap free kick on the right wing and Arteta gets the abll to Heitinga at the second attempt. The Dutchman's shot takes a deflection and goes for a corner.
    • 75' Vieira has gone into midfield, with Barry moving to left back and Zabaleta switching to right back.
    • 74' And he makes an instant impact, winning a free kick off Baines in a good position. Barry takes the free kick and its way over hit and sails out for a corner.
    • 73' Richards is replaced by Vieira. City to go to three at the back?
    • 71' Louis Saha is replaced by Jack Rodwell - Cahill to play as a lone striker as Moyes looks quash this pressure from City.
    • 68' A complete air-shot by Richards in the penalty area. Not the place for a right back.
    • 67' Good cross by SWP and it's cleared by Jagielka, right off the top of Santa Cruz's head...corner to City but its cleared.
    • 65' Jagielka has to take the resulting goal kick as Howard is struggling with an injury.
    • 65' Zabaleta crosses, Tevez ducks and it falls to SWP who seems to panic, shotos first time and sees his effort sail over the bar.
    • 64' Micah Richards shoots way wide from 25 yards. Poot effort. SWP was in space to his right.
    • 63' Cahill fouls Tevez and the former Man Utd player dusts himself down and takes the free kick. His tame effort is mere fodder for Howard.
    • 62' Given catches well and passes it straight to Wright-Phillips but the balls runs out of play.
    • 61' Zabaleta clears a simple, unthreatening ball for a corner. Baines to take on the right hand side.
    • 60' De Jong is late on Pienaar and another player goes in the book.
    • 60' City look devoid of creativity as Richards is bereft of options and passes back to Given.
    • 57' And it's Adam Johnson coming off for Santa Cruz. Bellamy out left and the former Blackburn striker joins Tevez up front.
    • 56' City's defence is being run ragged by Everton here. Mancini will not be a happy Italian.
    • 55' And Santa Cruz is coming on...who is coming off though?
    • 53' Tim Cahill picks up the ball from Arteta and chips Given from 23 yards. His effort goes just over the bar, Given looked beaten.
    • 51' ...but the Spaniard shoots tamely at Given. Arteta had ample space though - poor marking by Barry/De Jong.
    • 51' Johnson fouls Osman and a free kick is given. Everton pass it around on the edge of the area nicely...
    • 49' The replays show Jagielka handballed on the edge of the area under pressure from Tevez. The Argentine was pushing Jagielka all over the place. Free kick/booking would have been harsh.
    • 48' Leon Osman picks the ball up after a terrible clearance from Kompany and sees his shot deflected wide.
    • 46' Bellamy's shot is cleared by Jagielka
    • 46' And the second half kicks off...
    • - Nope - no changes at half time...
    • - And the teams are back out for the second half...any changes?
    • - How would you rate this frist half? Leave some comments or rate the players below.
    • - Has anyone ruled out Everton for fourth place yet?
    • - As it stands, Everton would lie 8th having played 31 with 48 points while Man City would stay fifth having played 30 - the same as Spurs but one less than sixth placed Liverpool.
    • - Everton have looked impressive, if not cautious but City have had their chances and Everton need to be careful.
    • 45' Half time at Eastlands and Everton lead 1-0 thanks to Tim Cahill header in the 32nd minute.
    • 45' Arteta to take...and...it hits the City wall. Tevez breaks, gets away from about five Everton players before Arteta brings him down. Cynical. Shay Given ran half of the pitch to whinge at Peter Walton and gets a yellow card for his troubles. Stupid from the experienced 'keeper.
    • 44' Arteta and Baines hovering over the ball...would suit either.
    • 44' Saha robs Richards and breaks. City get back quickly but Kompany brings down Pienaar in the process. Free kick to Everton - 28 yards out, left of centre.
    • - Apparently Ireland picked up a leg injury - hence the substitution.
    • 43' Pienaar is booked for scything down Richards on the right wing.
    • 42' Carlos Tevez looks fed up. He's run about constantly tonight and had no joy. Everton defending well.
    • - That header was Cahill's ninth consecutive headed goal. Impressive.
    • 40' And Mancini does indeed change it up. Wright-Phillips replaces Stephen Ireland. Looks tactical with Bellamy joining Tevez up front and Johnson moving to the left with SWP on the right.
    • 37' Only one this season have City failed to score at home. Mancini should have faith in his side to bring this one back.
    • 34' It would appear, that teams are falling over themsleves not to take this fourth Champions League spot.
    • 32' Clever play by Arteta. Poor marking by City, Baines left in yards of space and Cahill unmarked in box. Mancini looks nervous...
    • 32' Barry fouls Cahill on the left side of the penalty area, about two yards from the byline. Arteta to take the set piece - pulls it back to Baines whose cross is headed in by CAHILL - 0-1 Everton!
    • 31' Tevez sets Richards free but Distin catches up and blocks the Englishman's shot. Throw in is easily cleared by Everton.
    • 30' Heitinga booked for a tackle from behind in Ireland.
    • 30' Everton attack as Pienaar finds Cahill on the 18 yard line but the Australian shoots over.
    • 29' City knocking on the door here...
    • 27' Tevez is put through by Ireland and then cuts in side Distin with ease. Clean through on goal, he decides not to shoot and ends up in a tangled web of Everton defenders before the ball is cleared.
    • 27' Not liking Bellamy's bright yellow boots.
    • 26' Again, Johnson finds space ont he right as he plays it to Ireland who in turn, slips the ball to Bellamy. The Welshman's shot is saved by Howard at the feet of Tevez. City looking threatening.
    • 25' Tevez is fouled by Neville - Bellamy takes the freekick as Tevez heads just wide.
    • 24' Just as I say that, Ireland lifts the ball over the Everton defence to Tevez who races on to it but is met by Howard as he smothers the ball. Good cover by jagielka there as he clears the loose ball.
    • 22' Tevez is looking lonely as City continue to cross. Needs more support from midfield, well, either that or a big target man next to him.
    • 20' Zabeleta's cross is headed out for a corner by Jagielka. Johnson takes it on the left and it's cleared by Pienaar.
    • 18' Tricky wing-play by Johnson as his cross is cleared at the feet of Ireland. The ball comes to Richards who whips in a cross and watches as Barry heads it over.
    • 17' Long ball by Howard, flick on by Cahill but Saha is too close and it bobbles to Given.
    • 16' Zabaleta's cross hits Richards on the back and Tim Howard has to strech to claw the ball away from the top corner. Richards and Jagielka meanwhile, are down injured, clash of heads.
    • 16' Patient build up play from City...
    • 14' Cahill beats Kompany in the air and knocks it down to Osman who takes a touch before blasting a shot way over the bar.
    • - Interestingly, if the Premier League had started on Jan 1st 2010, Everton would be third. A season of two halves.
    • 11' Good run by Richards and nice link-up with Johnson, but the defender ran out of steam as the ball was shephered out by Distin.
    • 9' The only Everton palyer ahead of the ball was Saha and City pressed there. 10 men behind the ball mentality for Moyes' men.
    • 8' Tevez got booked for that foul on Jagielka as well. Not suprised.
    • 6' Carlos Tevez just threw himself in front of Jagielka in a desperate attempt to block the ball. Don't know if that was commitment or frustraion.
    • 5' Cute backheel on the edge of the area by Cahill, but Saha is just offside.
    • 4' Told you. He's back on and running around like nothing happened. Good possession by the away side here. Content to knock the ball around.
    • 3' Looks like a neck problem for Pienaar who leaves the field for treatment. He'll be back on though...
    • 3' Great tackle by Micah Richards on Pienaar, but the South African stays down...
    • 2' Corner to Everton. It's cleared but they keep the pressure on with a throw in.
    • 2' Free kick to Everton as Barry fouls Osman. Long ball into the box, cleared by Toure.
    • 1' Think City are playing in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Ireland, Bellamy and Johnson behind Tevez while Everton will, I imagine, switch between 4-5-1 and 4-4-1-1 with Cahill expected to link up with Saha.
    • 1' And we're off as Everton kick off, kicking from right to left. A massive hoof, and its a throw to the home side.
    • - For those of you interest, Peter Walton is tonight's referee.
    • - Man City are the only team in the Premier League with an unbeaten home record. Could tonight be the night that impressive form comes to an end?
    • - Tim Howard makes his 100th consecutive appearance for Everton tonight. Consistent.
    • - As it turns out, Lescott missed the other game against Everton this season through injury. How odd...
    • - Oooh....the teams are in the very swanky tunnel at Eastlands as the dramatic pre-game music blasts out. Everton are wearing their rather eye-catching balck and pink away shirt.
    • - A spot of trivia for you - Everton have won four of their last five matches against City, keeping four clean sheets in the process. None of the 12 Premier League games played between these two sides have ended in a draw...
    • - Sylvain Distin plays against his former club tonight, though Lescott misses out. Woudl have been interesting to see the reception he would have got from the Toffees. Not a nice one, I imagine.
    • - EVERTON STARTING XI: Howard; Neville, Jagielka, Distin, Baines; Osman, Heitinga, Arteta, Pienaar; Cahill; Saha. SUBS: Nash, Hibbert, Yobo, Yakubu, Bilyaletdinov, Gosling, Rodwell.

    • - Manchester City are without Joleon Lescott as the former Everton defender was ruled out for four weeks with a hamstring injury while Wyne Bridge is also sidelined.
    • - So, to the team news...
    • - David Moyes' side are unbeaten in three league games and come in to the game looking to gain ground on seventh place Aston Villa.
    • - Roberto Mancini's side will move up to fourth if they win tonight in this never-ending battle for the much-coveted final Champions League spot. City are currently in fifth place, two points behind Spurs and two above Liverpool.
    • - Welcome to tonight's coverage from Eastlands where Manchester City take on Everton.
