    • 58' Shorey clears but it goes out for a throw.
    • 57' No signs of either side settling for a point.
    • 56' That's woken the West Brom fans up again. They're doing their 'Boing Boing' thing.

    • 53' West Brom continue to press. Thomas and Brunt combine....

    • 39' Around five minutes to the break and this half has been breathless.

    • 36' Richardson is limping off but he looks like he may be able to return.
    • 35' Odemwingie twists and turns on the edge of the box and goes to shoot but catches Richardson. Nothing either player could do to avoid it but the Sunderland man has come off worst.
    • 34' This match continues to swing from end to end. I love football.
    • 33' Bardsley is back on.
    • 32' Bardsley now goes down and his afternoon may be over before it has begun.
    • 30' GOAL FOR SUNDERLAND!!! WHAT A GOAL!! Phil Bardsley with an absolute screamer. Cattermole tapped the free-kick short and the defender clatters the ball into the top left-hand corner from 25 yards out leaving Scott Carson with no chance. Take a bow son.
    • 29' Welbeck is fouled 25 yards out. A flurry of Sunderland players surround the ball. Bardsley looks favourite...
    • 28' GOAL FOR WEST BROM!!! Jerome Thomas crosses from the left. It's deflected and loops up high into the air. Cox wins the header inside the penalty area and Odemwingie sticks out a foot to turn the ball home from four yards to bring West Brom level.

    • 25' Bizarre caution by Peter Walton. He gives it to Richardson after the Sunderland player doesn't place the ball for the free-kick in the correct place. The problem? Walton never showed him where the kick was supposed to be taken from. To make matters worse he manages to drop the yellow card twice before finally completing the job.
    • 24' CAUTION: Richardson of Sunderland
    • 23' Shorey is mugged near halfway by Welbeck and Elmohamady and the left back is forced to concede the free-kick on the left. Richardson to take it...

    • 19' Richardson strolls through midfield before looking to Gyan again on the left. He wins a throw this time.

    • 15' Brunt forces a throw on the left. Shorey crosses and Cox takes it off the head of Odemwingie who was better placed.

    • 7' Mignolet lashes downfield but Shorey can let it go out of play.
    • 6' Malbranque dances down the left wing but his pass inside is intercepted. It would appear Mensah may have done something to his groin - hence his poor start. The chap doesn't look good at all.
    • 5' CHANCE FOR WEST BROM! Simon Cox lashes a half-volley over the bar on the angle from 18 yards after yet another poor Mensah header.
    • 4' Odemwingie flicks on Carson's kick but Cox can't control it. West Brom have it back and win a throw after Cattermole's wayward pass goes out.
