    • 90+4 That's it, Arsenal win 7-1 and plenty to get your teeth stuck into.
    • 90+3 HENRY MAKES IT 7-1! And he scored his first Premier League goals in five years after an error from Hanley lets him in. He exchanges passes with RvP and slides in a low finish deflected off Dann.
    • 90+2 Fans are leaving early, but for the right reasons - this has been a rout.
    • 90+1 Chest-and-half-volley from Benayoun but straight at Robinson! Dann with an error.
    • 90' The ref adds three minutes, refusing to put Rovers out of their misery.
    • 88' Both sides going through the motions now. Surely the ref won't add any time?
    • 87' Van Persie goes down in the box under a challenge from Hanley but it was more RvP's foot hitting the Rovers defender's than anything else.
    • 86' Having not been booked for his foul on Hoilett earlier, Vermaelen does see yellow for a foul on Modeste.
    • 85' Henry tries to find Walcott with a long ball but Hanley and Dann are able to clear.
    • 84' Free-kick Blackburn but Pedersen's ball is headed away Vermaelen. Well, I thought it did but Arsenal get the throw.
    • 83' Henry apologises as he goes for goal, putting it well wide, when Walcott and Van Persie were available for the pass.
    • 82' Walcott on the move now but he can't get the shot or cross in.
    • 80' Henry plays Rosicky in but he fails to shoot early and a good challenge from Dann flicks the ball away. Good defending for once.
    • 79' Henry almost gets on to a lofted Van Persie ball. Arsenal almost willing him to score.
    • 78' Benayoun a little too eager to force the error from Dann, fouling him in the process.
    • 77' Henry gets past Dann with a neat piece of skill but he then overruns it. His touch was greeted with excitement from the fans.
    • 76' Coquelin drifts a cross in from a good spot on the right but lanky midfielder Petrovic is able to head clear. Arsenal come again though...
    • 75' Another Arsenal set-piece causes problems as, while he's not the best attacking header of a ball, Mertseacker is a presence for sure. Cleared though.
    • 74' The corner isn't fully cleared by the dreadful Olsson, Coquelin controls nicely but hammers the shot well over.
    • 73' Dangerous low cross by Sagna is put behind by Hanley for a corner. Deflection off Orr caused problems.
    • 71' ARSENAL SUB: Benayoun comes on for Song. RvP given 90 minutes then.
    • 70' Mertesacker is almost played through but he lacks the pace to get on to it and Blackburn clear.
    • 69' That is an odd one - Oxlade-Chamberlain was on a hat-trick, RvP already has his and he likes an injury does the Dutchman. I'd have put him in the freezer until Milan.
    • 68' ARSENAL SUB: Eh? Ok we'll give you this one. Henry does come on but for Oxlade-Chamberlain, not Van Persie. Koscielny also comes off, for Sagna.
    • 67' Song with a cute ball to Walcott wide right but this time Olsson blocks his cross. Van Persie wants more! I'd take him off for Henry though.
    • 66' Oxlade-Chamberlain races at Orr again but this time the ex-QPR and Bristol City full-back is able to put behind. Sagna is warming up.
    • 66' Rovers fail to clear their lines from RvP's ball and it drops to Walcott far post but he gets the half-volley horribly wrong, sending it high and wide.
    • 64' A cross almost catches Robbo out as the trajectory changes but he tips it over for a corner.
    • 63' Where are those binbags? There are a lot of empty seats but that could be as much due to the early kick-off, the freezing weather, the fact it's Blackburn and that there were some fun parties in North London last night.
    • 62' So Robin Van Persie becomes the first Arsenal player to hit a hat-trick against Blackburn since Emmanuel Adebayor. City! He has also now outscored last season's top scorers in the league after just 24 games.
    • 61' Right, now Coquelin gets it on the right, loads of space and a low cross FOR VAN PERSIE TO RIFLE IT INTO THE ROOF OF THE NET FOR HIS HAT-TRICK! All too easy.
    • 60' Looking at the replay of that gets better and better. Great skills from the little-big man. England!
    • 59' Szczesny and Hoilett slide in for a ball and this time the Blackburn player is left in a heap. Arsenal break, Oxlade-Chamberlain with an outrageous selection of flicks and lollipops on the left, lofted cross and Arteta with a flying volley but well over. Class from Oxlade-Chamberlain though. Capello!
    • 58' Vermaelen is up now, limping off. Will Marriner book him or not? Either way, a Rovers free-kick 25-30 yards out but Pedersen walls it this time.
    • 57' Vermaelen is actually in real pain, booking or otherwise. He has his head in his hands... Not sure what he did, maybe turned his knee? Sagna warms up.
    • 56' Vermaelen slides into Hoilett, very late, and is hurt, He'll get a booking when he gets up.
    • 55' Dann is limping off with what seems like a lower leg problem...
    • 54' Arsenal utterly rampant and Blackburn unable to handle the dribbling skills of Walcott, who initially wanted to cross from RvP but elected to cut inside and wreak havoc that way.
    • 53' FIVE FOR ARSENAL! Oxlade-Chamberlain with a cute low finish after a mazy run inside from Walcott. The Southampton connection.
    • 52' The strike took a pretty weighty deflection, I think off Petrovic although it may have been Orr. Arteta's third goal against Blackburn this season. Can't see them losing this one though.
    • 51' Walcott's ball in takes a wicked deflection but goes wide for a corner. The corner is half-cleared by NZonzi, Koscielny brings it down for Arteta with a low drive that fizzes through the bodies and in! 4-1!
    • 50' Van Persie is chasing a hat-trick: the last Arsenal player to do so against Rovers was (ssshhh!!) Adebayor, and the last to do so at home was Mel Charles.
    • 49' Coquelin on the run now, down the right with some dancing feet but it gets caught between them and Rovers clear.
    • 48' Modeste tries to latch on to a loose header from Vermaelen but it' shepherded back to the keeper Szczesny.
    • 47' Dann is able to head clear to touch after another good cross from Walcott. Quick corner but Oxlade-Chamberlain is offside. Nice spot Ms Massey.
    • 46' The second half is underway!
    • - FACT: RvP's first goal today was his 100th career league goal. Thanks to Arsenal for that stat.
    • - FACT: That second RvP goal was his 21st of the season - more than last season's Prem top scorers Dimitar Berbatov and Carlos Tevez managed all season. STRIKER! (thanks @InfostradaLive)
    • - I don't think anyone can claim that wasn't a red card for Givet - but are you happy with Arsenal's performance? They have dominated and, all things being equal, you can't account for direct free-kicks like the one scored by Pedersen... Have your say on Twitter @Reda_Maher FOLLOW HERE!
    • 45+6 Half-time and Arsenal lead 10-man Blackburn 3-1.
    • 45+5 Arsenal swarm forward again and Van Persie plays in Walcott but this time Olsson makes the challenge.
    • 45+4 Hoilett is Blackburn's only player at the moment and he goes on a super mazy run but, with no support, runs out of options and Arsenal clear.
    • 45+3 The ref is having a dizzy spell and needs a sip of water. I think he got a crack on the head colliding with someone. An accidental elbow from NZonzi...
    • 45+2 VERMAELEN HITS THE POST! Short corner from Van Persie to Arteta, superb cross from the Spaniard, Mertesacker misses it but Vermaelen far-post can only find wood!
    • 45+1 Walcott almost gets in behind the shocking Olsson again but Dann holds him off. Five minutes added time.
    • 45' BLACKBURN SUB: Hanley comes on for Dunn as they look to restore a back four.
    • 44' That all happened in a flash and Givet makes sure RvP is okay before strolling off, apologising to Wenger en route to his early bath. Over and out for Rovers now. It was a scissors challenge too. Rotten tackle.
    • 43' Givet is sent off! Straight red card for a foul on Van Persie! He flew in two-footed on Van Persie!
    • 42' Thunderous challenge from NZonzi on Song, it breaks to Dunn but his shot is blocked.
    • 41' Olsson is yellow-carded for the earlier foul on Rosicky.
    • 41' Rosicky was fouled but play-on said the ref: Walcott fed Van Persie, who did a pirouette and played a lovely through ball for Oxlade-Chamberlain, who got inside the full-back far too easily, rounded Robbo and slid in the finish for 3-1!
    • 40' GOAL ARSENAL! Oxlade-Chamberlain with a brilliant goal, his first in the Premier League!
    • 39' Apologies for the typo - like me, Olsson is having a 'mare. His twin brother watches on too. He went to sleep as Song slid Walcott in.
    • 38' GOAL ARSENAL! 2-1! Van Persie with another tap in after a superb cut-back from Walcott, but again shocking defending, this time Olsson letting Song's ball go inside him to Walcott.
    • 37' Weighted pass from Arteta, Rosicky lets it run through to Van Persie but he blasts it high and wide!
    • 36' BLACKBURN SUB: Orr makes his debut with Lowe staying off.
    • 36' The free-kick is finally taken, long, but the flag is up for offside, Hoilett strayed.
    • 35' NOTE - Hoilett has not yet played for Canada. He is eligible to play for Jamaica too, but what about England? Should check that out...
    • 34' Lowe is down hurt after that rap on the ankle. Indeed, the stretcher is on now. How did Rosicky get away with that?
    • 33' Terrible tackle from Rosicky on Lowe but he escapes a booking. Poor from the ref - the only challenge so far genuinely worthy of one.
    • 32' Szczesny got a touch on that, maybe could have saved it but a superb free-kick from Pedersen.
    • 31' This is a chance for Rovers, who are effective on set pieces. Pedersen and Petrovic over it, shame Rochina is on the bench... PEDERSEN WITH THE GOAL! Superb free-kick! Curled over the wall and into the top left!
    • 31' Free-kick to Rovers on the edge of the box, won by Modeste off Koscielny who is harshly booked.
    • 30' Song plays Van Persie in, superb touch to buy some space but he spins the lobbed finish wide. He knew Robbo was off his line but executed it badly.
    • 29' Olsson with a timely clearance as the corner comes in. A lack of bin-bags...
    • 28' Oxlade-Chamberlain on the left but his cross hits Pedersen to go out for a corner.
    • 27' Walcott on the right can't get past Olsson this time and it's a throw. But Arsenal have it back and look to Song in the middle... Poor ball wide left out for a throw.
    • 26' NZonzi flies in a bit late on Rosicky and is booked for his troubles. Free-kick to Arsenal on the right but they play it back to defence.
    • 25' And as if by magic Mertesacker pops up at the far post to knock the ball down, it bounces just over and the ref gives a free-kick - seemed to hit NZonzi but the ref says Koscielny.
    • 24' Dann outmuscles Mertesacker far too easily at the corner and Rovers clear. The second ball is aimed at Vermaelen, who is much better in the air and forces a corner. Mertesacker more useful far post for me, knocking it down from a static position.
    • 23' Rosicky with a swinging low drive that takes a deflection off a sliding Dunn and just wide! Corner.
    • 22' Great run once more by Oxlade-Chamberlain but NZonzi and Lowe both fly in to block his cross. Corner Arsenal.
    • 21' Too much space being afforded to Walcott, but his cross only reached Rosicky via a deflection off Givet so maybe they would rather give him time to think and get it wrong? Who knows what's going on with that Rovers defence.
    • 20' Arsenal playing it about short and patient. Nothing really coming from Blackburn at the moment. Now Walcott gets down the right again, he cuts it back to ROSICKY ON THE VOLLEY but Petrovic blocks, now Arteta but he drags it wide!
    • 19' Van Persie weakes in and out of Givet on the right before running into a wall and finding Coquelin; Petrovic pulls RvP's shirt and there's a free-kick to Arsenal.
    • 18' Vermaelen is enjoying getting forward from left-back but his flick on doesn't pay off and Lowe brings it clear.
    • 17' Mertesacker with a slightly dodgy head back but it does the job. He's not the most solid is he?
    • 16' Free-kick to Arsenal which Van Persie swings in dangerously but Mertesacker misses the header sliding in and it trickles wide!
    • 15' Both men have taken a knock in that challenge and the ref booked Modeste. Hmmm. That was not a cardable offence but he had been warned.
    • 14' Superb clipped ball by Dunn and Modeste slides in on Szczesny, who just manages to get there first before both collide. Ow!
    • 13' Blackburn initially struggle to clear the corner until Dunn hoofs it upfield.
    • 12' Olsson has taken a knock of some sort, I think in a clash with Walcott. Arsenal have a throw on the right, Walcott to cross but Olsson blocks for a corner. Again Walcott played onside by a poor line from Blackburn.
    • 11' Song with a lovely dinked through ball to Oxlade-Chamberlain on the left, he drills in a low cross but no-one is advanced enough in the centre and it spins away for a throw.
    • 10' Late sliding challenge from Modeste catches Arteta. Second foul so the ref has a word. Arsenal take it short.
    • 9' Arsenal looking confident and controlled after that early goal - but how many times have we said that in recent years? Good play by Dunn on the left-centre but he overruns it and Szczesny claims low.
    • 8' To answer your questions about the timing of this, the game is on at 1pm but not on TV because it was moved forward from a 3pm kick-off - the Victoria line is down this weekend, meaning Rovers fans would have struggled to make their train back oop North later at night.
    • 7' Nice run inside from Oxlade-Chamberlain again but Olsson cuts out his nice low through ball aimed for RvP.
    • 6' Oxlade-Chamberlain has a sighter from range but his low shot is dragged well wide.
    • 5' Another lofted ball in from the Arsenal right but Blackburn clear.
    • 4' Van Persie in acres of space down the right but he slows it down for Coquelin, whose cross is poor.
    • 3' The goal arose from a dreadful clearance from Petrovic, who miskicked the ball up in the air to set the ball rolling for the Gunners. Arsenal attack again as Oxlade-Chamberlain sees an overlapping Vermaelen, whose cross is blocked. Dann all over the place holding the line or not.
    • 2' GOAL ARSENAL! Van Persie with a tap-in at the far post, as is the custom against Blackburn, finishing off a superb low cross from Walcott after a nice dinked pass from Coquelin.
    • 1' Rovers start on the front foot as Hoilett moves forward down the left, tricky skills and a low poked ball but Mertesacker cleears.
    • 1' The first half is underway!
    • 13:00 Handshakes over, Arsenal win the toss and will kick off.
    • 12:58 I'm assuming the slight delay was to allow fans to take their seats - it's freezing all over the UK at the moment, meaning transport issues.
    • 12:57 The players are walking out of the dressing room, a touch behind schedule so we should expect kick off at 1.02 or so.
    • 12:56 Odds for this game are: Arsenal 2/7, Blackburn 10/1, Draw 9/2.
    • 12:55 Today's referee is Andre Marriner.
    • 12:50 Annoyed at Wenger's increasingly odd team selections or backing le prof? Distraught at Blackburn's situation, or think Kean's doing well in tough circumstances? Has John Terry been harshly treated, or should he have been turfed out of the England squad for good and not just stripped of the captaincy? Feel free to have a stop and chat with me on Twitter @Reda_Maher - unlike Curb's Larry David, I won't make my excuses and leave. FOLLOW HERE!
    • 12:45 FACT: Blackburn haven’t kept a clean sheet away from home in their last 14 Premier League games since that 0-0 draw at the Emirates; The last 0-0 draw at the Emirates in the Premier League came when Blackburn visited in April 2011.
    • 12:40 FACT: Blackburn only had four shots on target against Arsenal at Ewood Park, but thanks to two own goals by the Gunners they won 4-3; David Dunn has scored five goals in eight Premier League games for Blackburn against Arsenal.
    • 12:35 FACT: Mikel Arteta has scored five goals in the Premier League versus Blackburn, more than against any other opponent; Robin van Persie has scored 10 goals in 12 games in all competitions against Blackburn.
    • 12:30 Steve Kean: "I think we can go down to Arsenal with plenty of confidence because our away performances have been good of late. It is never easy when you go to a club like Arsenal, you have to be on your guard because of the pace in which they attack, the way that they can get out of the traps and dominate possession, so we have to be very careful with that. But you can see the way the lads are playing, the confidence they show when they are on the ball."
    • 12:30 Arsene Wenger: "I feel Steve Kean has handled himself well and that is a credit to him. Blackburn are a team who are ready for a battle. If you look at their quality I think they will be safe. I personally feel it is just a good opportunity to come back into a strong position. I am here to make the fans happy and when I don't do that, of course I am not happy."
    • 12:25 Steve Kean goes with the same XI that lost 2-0 at home to Newcastle. There is no Samba for Rovers, the wantaway defender left out over his frame of mind. His historic partner, Nelsen, was allowed to join Spurs on a free so Dann and Givet start at centre-back. Aiyegbeni Yakubu is suspended and David Goodwillie still suffering the effects of flu so is a sub. New signing Bradley Orr is on the bench too, but fellow new boy Marcus Olsson (twin of Martin) is not involved.
    • 12:25 Gibbs is back in training but not fit to start; Oxlade-Chamberlain, however, has recovered in time for the game. Weirdly Ramsey and Sagna are benched with Coquelin and Rosicky starting. Walcott also starts. Jenkinson (back), Andre Santos (ankle) and midfielder Diaby (hamstring) are still out. Ivory Coast forward Gervinho is still away at the African Cup of Nations, Chamakh is due back but not in time for the game.
    • 12:20 TEAMS - Arsenal: Szczesny, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Coquelin, Song, Rosicky, Arteta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott, van Persie; Subs: Fabianski, Sagna, Park, Henry, Ramsey, Arshavin, Benayoun /// Blackburn: Robinson, Lowe, Dann, Givet, Martin Olsson, Pedersen, Petrovic, Nzonzi, Hoilett, Dunn, Modeste; Subs: Bunn, Formica, Orr, Rochina, Goodwillie, Vukcevic, Hanley
