    • 58' Taarabt wins a free kick as Hanley mistimes his challenge, but he has been superb today the Blackburn defender.
    • 57' It's very scrappy in midfield all of a sudden as both sides look to stamp their authority and keep the possession.
    • 55' Yakubu continues to cause havoc as he takes a high ball down into his stride with a sublime touch, and QPR lack such class in attack.
    • 54' QPR have not managed to come out quickly in this second half, and Rovers continue to look the more dangerous in the final third of the field.
    • 53' YAKUBU HITS THE BAR! What vision from the forward as he suddenly decides to chip an exquisite effort over Kenny's head from the edge of the QPR box, and it cannons off the crossbar with the goalkeeper comprehensively beaten!

    • 45+5' The half-time whistle goes at Ewood Park, and Blackburn lead QPR 3-0 courtesy of goals from Yakubu, Nzonzi and Hoilett (although it may go down as an own-goal from Onuoha)! Mark Hughes is surely set to unleash a right old rollicking to his players, while Steve Kean is a very happy man at the break.
    • 45+4' GOAL!!! IT'S THREE TO BLACKBURN! Hoilett drives a fierce shot from the left of the penalty area, and a deflection off Onuoha sees the ball zip past a helpless Kenny in the QPR goal - it's 3-0 to Blackburn!
    • 45+3' Traore charges on to meet a cut back from Zamora, but his shot is tame and straight at Robinson.
    • 45+1' Buzsaky is also having a nightmare in midfield as he misplaces another sloppy pass intended for Zamora.
    • 45' Ferdinand heads clear from Pedersen's throw in, and this is a sustained period of possession from the hosts.
    • 44' Pedersen twists and turns to good effect as he wins his side a throw in out on the right, and he'll launch a throw in into the box...
    • 43' Taarabt is looking very lost out on the right, and his body language is typically poor as he miscontrols a short pass from Barton.
    • 42' Barton and Traore combine, but it's slow going from the visitors and Rovers can defend stoutly.
    • 41' Nzonzi shows another sublime touch as he drags the ball past Barton, who is left looking very silly on halfway.
    • 40' Hanley obviously took a rather nasty knock there as he goes down heavily following that header and stays down. He receives treatment.
    • 39' Hanley will be extremely disappointed as he leaps high to meet a cross from Lowe, but he can only head wide of the far post as he is totally unmarked!
    • 38' Ferdinand is penalised for a high boot as he fouls Yakubu, and Blackburn have a dangerous free kick now 25 yards out...
    • 37' Zamora charges down the right before cutting the ball back inside to Taarabt, but the forward's attempted dink does not catch out Robinson.
    • 36' Nzonzi shows a delightful touch as he jinks inside Buzsaky, and he's thriving in the midfield at the moment.
    • 35' Hanley and Dann are defending very well for Blackburn at the moment, and Zamora is getting very frustrated in attack for the visitors.
    • 34' Olsson hurls a long throw down the line, before Orr picks the ball up out on the right flank. Taiwo defends well to clear for Rangers.
    • 33' Rovers build from the back once more as Zamora continues to run and run on his own in attack.
    • 32' Buzsaky fouls Nzonzi on halfway, and the Blackburn midfielder makes a meal of it as Dean is given an ear full.
    • 31' A loose ball drops inside the Blackburn penalty area, but Zamora hooks a high ball wide of the far post with just the goalkeeper to beat - that was a real chance!
    • 30' Wright-Phillips has been extremely quiet in this first half despite being given relative freedom to attack, and he is subdued.
    • 29' Hoilett wins a free kick once more, and QPR have to clear the danger as Hall heads away under pressure.
    • 28' Mike Dean has a word with Onuoha as he hauls down Pedersen, but he gets away without a booking.
    • 27' Barton keeps possession for his side, linking the play from midfield, but Rovers are suddenly looking very comfortable.
    • 26' That could have been three for Rovers if Hoilett had kept his composure there, and QPR are reeling.
    • 25' Hoilett is caught out being rather selfish as he breaks into the QPR box but fails to get his head up and find the pass to Yakubu, who surely would have scored!
    • 24' Mark Hughes looks utterly shell-shocked on the touchline, and he cannot be remotely happy with his side's shoddy defending. Who backs QPR to respond?
    • 23' GOAL!!!! NZONZI MAKES IT TWO! Seconds after almost being caught out at the back, Nzonzi doubles Blackburn's lead as Hoilett gets down the left and cuts the ball back, and the finish is emphatic! Blackburn are rampant!
    • 22' Orr does superbly to cover for Nzonzi, who makes a total hash of a clearance, and Blackburn clear.
    • 21' Hoilett hobbles back on the field as play continues, and QPR keep the ball in their half as the visitors build patiently.
    • 19' Hoilett goes down injured on halfway, clutching his ankle and looking in a great deal of discomfort.
    • 18' Barton whips over a corner from the right, but Fitz Hall can only volley straight into the back of Orr.
    • 17' Steve Kean continues to smile on the touchline, and he pointed to the heavens after that goal went in!
    • 16' It's against the run of play, but Blackburn won't care as their prolific forward marks his return with what could prove to be a crucial strike.
    • 15' GOAL!!!!! THE YAK IS BACK! A rather speculative long ball from Robinson drops to N'Zonzi, who heads on to Yakubu, and the forward takes the ball down superbly, swivels and shoots beyond Kenny in superb fashion!
    • 13' Blackburn are really battling for possession now as QPR struggle to make their pressure count.
    • 12' Zamora loses the ball very sloppily as he looks to lay it off to Wright-Phillips, and Blackburn have a reprieve from a dangerous situation.
    • 10' Pedersen battles with Barton in midfield as the ball suddenly spends a great deal of time in the air with neither side able to get it down.
    • 9' Taiwo continues to get his head up and look for a long ball to Zamora at every opportunity, but Dann shepherds him well.
    • 9' At the other end of the field, Buzsaky concedes a corner as he hastily retreats, and the hosts can build from this set piece.
    • 8' Zamora is ruled offside as he looks to get in behind the Blackburn back four, and he's slightly over-zealous there as Buzsaky plays the pass.
    • 7' Manny H. Taundry asks if Martin or Marcus Olsson are at left-back for Blackburn today, and it is the former who takes his place in the starting line up. The latter is not even on the bench.
    • 6' Traore makes a good run down the left for the visitors, but he cannot pick out Zamora with a deep cross to the back post.
    • 5' Hoilett is gifted amble space to get a shot away from the edge of the QPR box, but his effort is poor and drifts wide as Barton belatedly closes him down.
    • 4' Bobby Zamora forces his way down the left of the penalty area as he capitalises on some sloppy defending from the hosts, but his cut back to Taarabt does not find its target.
    • 3' Wright-Phillips appears to have been given freedom to drop off the front line and he makes pacey runs down the left flank, then the right.
    • 2' The pace of the game is already frenetic as the play lurches from one end to the other, and the hosts finally enjoy some early possession of their own.
    • 1' The first half is underway at Ewood Park, and referee Mike Dean blows his whistle as QPR - in their change strip - keep the early possession in their own half.

    • 14:50 QPR's former Blackburn boss Mark Hughes - without suspended frontman Djibril Cisse - make three changes from the 2-1 defeat to Wolves, bringing Fitz Hall, Armand Traore and Akos Buzsaky into the side. But will Yakubu grab the headlines on his return?
    • 14:45 Striker Yakubu returns after serving a three-match ban, but defender Gael Givet begins one following his sending off in the humiliating 7-1 defeat at Arsenal, so Grant Hanley also comes into the team, along with Bradley Orr, who was making his first start since joining Rovers from the R's on transfer deadline day, and Mauro Formica.
    • 14:40 Yakubu: "I know QPR want me, but I'd made up my mind I'm not going there so I told them. The fans and players have been good for me. You don't turn your back on that. I want to achieve things here, like keeping the club in the Premier League. I didn't want to come here for a few months and then leave again."
    • 14:35 Manager Mark Hughes may still be getting used to his new QPR squad but he believes he has seen enough to suggest they have enough firepower to beat the drop this season. "I am still getting a real understanding of what I have to work with," he said. "It's not been easy because coming in January is a bit different to my previous job, where I was there from the start of the season. "I think in terms of what we can deduce in an attacking sense, I think we are definitely on par that." Further comments from Hughes
    • 14:30 Blackburn manager Steve Kean expects to reconcile with wantaway captain Chris Samba but has revealed the defender will miss this match due to injury. The 27-year-old has been training with the reserves since he handed in a transfer request last month and has been a vocal critic over what he perceives as Venky's lack of ambition since they took control of Blackburn. Read Kean's quotes...
    • 14:25 THE TEAMS ARE IN! Blackburn: Robinson, Orr, Hanley, Dann, Martin Olsson, Nzonzi, Lowe, Hoilett, Formica, Pedersen, Yakubu. Subs: Bunn, Modeste, Petrovic, Rochina, Goodwillie, Vukcevic, Henley /// QPR: Kenny, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Hall, Traore, Wright-Phillips, Barton, Buzsaky, Taiwo, Taarabt, Zamora. Subs: Cerny, Hill, Derry, Gabbidon, Bothroyd, Mackie, Smith
    • 14:20 Steve Kean: "To get the Yak back, he's our leading scorer and we've missed him. I think he's quoted as saying three games felt like three months so it's brilliant for us to have him back. He's our leading scorer and if we give him the service he's going to be a real important player for us in the remaining games. It's not only his enthusiasm, he's a clever player. I think the centre-halves he plays against he gives them a hard time because he's always difficult to pick up."
    • 14:15 Mark Hughes: "I'm still aggrieved at the level of punishment for the 'crime' he (Djibril Cisse) did. We know he can't raise his hands but there was an incident in the Liverpool-Tottenham game where a player (Gareth Bale) jumped up and pushed someone (Daniel Agger) in the chest very forcefully, certainly more violent conduct than Djibril displayed - yet in the end he just gets a booking."
    • 14:10 TEAM NEWS: Blackburn striker Aiyegbeni Yakubu is set to make his return in the Barclays Premier League match against QPR after a three-match suspension. Defender Christopher Samba has been ruled out with a hamstring problem and Gael Givet will serve the first of a three-game ban following his sending off during the 7-1 defeat to Arsenal at Emirates Stadium last Saturday. Midfielder Jason Lowe could feature after responding well to treatment to an ankle injury he sustained against the Gunners.
    • 14:05 QPR striker Djibril Cisse is one of a host of first-team players that will miss the trip to Ewood Park. The France international starts a three-match ban after his red card against Wolves last week while Heidar Helguson(groin), DJ Campbell and Luke Young (both hamstring) also miss out. Jay Bothroyd (groin), Akos Buzsaky (Achilles) and Danny Gabbidon (hip) could all return from injury.
    • 14:00 Struggling Blackburn Rovers host fellow relegation-battlers Queens Park Rangers at Ewood Park in what is a crucial Premier League clash for both sides.
