    • - Don't forget you can watch highlights of this match, along with every Premier League game, from 00:01 on Monday morning (UK only).
    • 90+4 That's the final whistle - Bolton have now lost seven home Prem matches in a row, five this season. They stay in the drop zone, while Sunderland pull three points clear of danger.
    • 90+3 GOAL SUNDERLAND! With Bolton committing men forward Sessegnon's counter attack sees the visitors three on two and he slides it behind Larsson to Bendtner, who has time from wide to drill a crisp low finish past Jaaskelainen. 2-0.
    • 90+2 Sunderland clear from that corner - looks like a match-winning block from O'Shea in the end!
    • 90+1 GREAT INTERCEPTION BY O'SHEA! Wheater flew in with a power header but was denied at the death!
    • 89' Four minutes added time signalled, much to the Sunderland fans' irritance.
    • 88' MIGNOLET DENIES PRATLEY! The midfielder bullied his way through but the Belgian made himself big to block at his feet!
    • 87' Klasnic harrasses Mignolet after the Belgian takes his time clearing.
    • 86' SUNDERLAND SUB: Bardsley on for the injured Richardson, who is able to walk off.
    • 85' A delay in proceedings as Richardson gets some treatment - Bardsley warm up.
    • 84' Wide from Kakuta! Great movement from him and a lovely pass from Klasnic in the build-up!
    • 83' It was a good cross by Larsson but for once Bolton were dodgy in the box - it came off Robinson's head, Wickham I think got a touch and Gardner was all at sea as it rebounded off him into Sessegnon's path.
    • 82' GOAL SUNDERLAND! Sessegnon with a low finish after the ball pinballs in the box following that corner! Totally deserved.
    • 81' Jaaskelainen is bizarrely named man of the match by the tannoy. Clearly Wheater. Robinson is a close second for me, hurling himself in with a brilliant slide tackle on Richardson!
    • 80' Bolton are barely getting a sniff - this has been a top second-half performance from Sunderland, who have overwhelmed the hosts but somehow not scored.
    • 79' Gardner hesitates, robbed by Larsson whose slide challenge plays in Wickham, he should cross for Bendtner but he shoots from wide and it loops over Jaaskelainen and off the top of the bar!!
    • 78' Eagles and Pratley almost combine but Richardson hoofs away.
    • 77' Sunderland come again, Wickham almost played in by Vaughan but Wheater flying in to block and then Richardson denied! Wheater again! Corner.
    • 76' Brief respite for Bolton but Pratley can only knock it behind for a goal kick.
    • 75' Jaasekelainen flaps at the corner and it drops to Vaughan but he spanks it over!
    • 74' Vaughan's shot is deflected over by Robinson! Great build-up play as Sessegnon and Wickham combined following a backheel from O'Shea!
    • 73' Sessegnon tries to drill it past Jaaskelainen when everyone expected a cross, corner Sunderland. The ball is sent in by Larsson and Wickham arrives but he volleys wide!
    • 72' Larsson swings one in and Brown rises for the header but the ball skims the top and flies behind for a goal kick.
    • 71' Bit of nonsense in the wall so the ref pulls Pratley and Wickham over for a chat.
    • 70' Reo-Coker leaves his foot in on Vaughan, and it's a free-kick to Sunderland some 30 yards out...
    • 68' Klasnic comes forward, wide left to Eagles who drives a weak low shot at Mignolet. Poor.
    • 67' Ngog with a looping header towards goal but claimed by Mignolet.
    • 65' BOLTON SUBS: Kakuta and Klasnic on for Petrov and Davies.
    • 64' End to end now as Bendtner almost gets in before, down the other end, Petrov gets his shot all wrong after finding himself in a decent position.
    • 63' Hmmm. Petrov angled a ball in for Ngog which he should have knocked down to the onrushing Pratley but he puts it into the keeper's arms. Poor header.
    • 62' Ngog heads it clear but Bolton can't get hold of it, back in from the visitors and both Wickham and Bendtner fly in but it clears both their heads and bounces wide.
    • 61' Great slide tackle from Cahill on Colback! Corner. This is promising from Sunderland. Should have been a goal-kick though - seemed to hit Colback en route.
    • 60' Good ball from Larsson. Half-cleared and it drops wide left again but Wheater - who has had a fine game - heads to touch.
    • 59' Great forward play by Wickham, who is growing into this match and takes on three defenders before winning a corner off Gardner.
    • 58' Good cross from Gardner to Eagles but he puts it well over.
    • 57' Clever defending by Gardner, who draws a foul from Brown on the Bolton left to buy them some possession.
    • 56' Poor ball by Larsson, easy for Reo-Coker to clear.
    • 55' Sunderland have a free-kick wide left... Everyone moves up for it...
    • 54' Another good block from Wheater, further out this time as Wickham bustled in.
    • 53' BOLTON SUB: An attacking change after that superb defensive intervention by Boyata, who makes way for Gardner.
    • 52' BRILLIANT DEFENDING BY BOLTON! Sessegnon drilled in a super low ball that Richardson was free to drill in, first Boyata with a wonderful block and then - on the rebound - Richardson is denied a certain goal by a flying interception by Wheater. Great stuff.
    • 51' Jaaskelainen has it again after a poor decision by Sessegnon to drift it in with Bendtner free wide.
    • 50' Bendtner pulls down Larsson's corner but hacked away by Robinson I think. Still Sunderland pumping it in, good play from the visitors.
    • 49' Mignolet benefits from a lucky ricochet off Pratley's cut-back after he was sent in down the right by Davies. Down the other end Robinson is forced to put it behind for a corner. Much much better start to this second half.
    • 48' Larsson almost played Bendtner in but Cahill susses his pass and sweeps up calmly.
    • 47' Jaaskelainen reads a through ball well, sliding out to claim low just on the edge of his box.
    • 46' Petrov immediately gets in but fires weakly at Mignolet after a great run down the right by Eagles.
    • 46' No changes at the break as the second half gets underway.
    • - What did you think of that half? Solid or boring? Hit me up on Twitter @Reda_Maher
    • 45+1 Just the one minute added time and the ref blows to end a frankly underwhelming first half. Decent defending from both sides though - promising for Bolton in particular.
    • 45' Good reading of the game by Mignolet who comes out of his box to snuff out a ball that almost put Ngog and Davies in.
    • 44' Bolton with what has become a rare move forward, nothing comes from it as Mignolet claims easily.
    • 43' Free-kick Sundelrand on the left which Larsson will curl in... Decent ball that O'Shea meets but he heads it just wide! Side netting! The home fans jeer but that was close from a tight angle. The United connection at play there.
    • 42' This hasn't been the best match but Bolton were relatively dominant for a spell; now Sunderland are the more progressive side but, honestly, it's not been up to much all round.
    • 41' Sunderland a bit more ambitious now as a decent cross from Richardson is flicked clear, Petrov completing the clearance.
    • 40' Long into the Sunderland box, Davies flicks it on but predictably is penalised for pushing.
    • 39' SUNDERLAND MISS! Sessegnon slides in at the far post, unmarked after the Larsson corner lands at his feet: he slips as he volleys and thrashes it well over from six or seven yards!
    • 38' Desperate defending from Cahill as Wickham gets in, thrashed away by Boyata in the end.
    • 37' Ngog, who is everywhere, almost gets on to Davies's through ball but it spins away to touch.
    • 36' A spell of Sunderland pressure ends with a weak Larsson shot, easy for Jaaskelainen.
    • 35' Free-kick to Sunderland after Ngog overdoes it trying to win the ball back.
    • 33' Great play by Bolton as Davies is fed through by Pratley but Colback is alert and sweeps up coolly.
    • 32' Good defending by Robinson, just easing O'Shea off the ball as it drifts away for a goal kick.
    • 31' Richardson has a dig from range but he gets it all wrong: high, wide and handsome.
    • 30' Larsson to swing this over from the right but headed clear by Robinson.
    • 29' Corner to Sunderland now as Sessegnon decides to play it off a defender with few options in support.
    • 28' Good interception from Pratley as Bendtner and Larsson combined well.
    • 27' Eagles with a long shot but well wide of the top right corner.
    • 26' Another aimless ball is back with a keeper, this time Mignolet. Bendtner tries to flick it into Larsson but he gets it wrong and Bolton clear.
    • 25' All a bit raggle-taggle at the moment with the central midfielders on both sides struggling to get any control of the middle third.
    • 24' Sunderland manage to keep the ball upfield for a spell but eventually Bolton have a throw.
    • 23' Wheater comes along now with Reo-Coker drifting away... Short from Wheater to Eagles but his low shot is poor.
    • 22' Petrov is okay, Bolton have a free-kick which Reo-Coker, Eagles and Petrov are over...
    • 21' Handball on the edge of the box by Colback after a heavy touch from Pratley, with Petrov down holding his ankle after an earlier challenge.
    • 20' Davies flicks on the free-kick but Mignolet finds that easy to gather.
    • 19' Jaaskelainen pumps the goal kick long. Sessegnon clatters into Robinson and earns himself a booking.
    • 18' Cahill should have the measure of Bendtner but for some reason he slides in when he was holding him off fine, allowing Bendtner to hold it up... No joy for him though as the support doesn't arrive quickly enough.
    • 16' ...Eventually it breaks down as the through ball by Pratley is overhit and it rolls past Ngog for a goal kick.
    • 15' More pressure from Bolton, who are dominating possession now...
    • 14' Davies flicks it on and Eagles has it but looks as puzzled as I feel when he gives away a free-kick. I think that was for handball, but it seemed to hit his chest...
    • 13' PRATLEY JUST WIDE! Should have scored! Scintilating counter from Ngog down the right, Brown left for dead by the younger man's pace, and he picked out Pratley with an inch-perfect low drilled ball: the former Swansea man, from just inside the box, placed his finish but placed it past the right-hand post!
    • 12' Turner leaves Ngog in a heap after a late and somewhat reckless tackle, not so much contact but the entry angle and intent was worthy of a yellow.
    • 11' Good play from Sunderland sees Bendtner drill a low shot at Jaaskelainen. Nice build-up from Colback and Sessegnon.
    • 10' A bit scrappy now from both sides as the ball spends more time in the air than on the deck...
    • 9' Wickham flies in for a 50-50 with Cahill and he catches the England defender late. Just a free kick, no card.
    • 8' Strong challenge from Robinson to delight the home fans.
    • 7' The flag goes up after Bendter fails to check his run back.
    • 6' Colback spanks one well over after good hold-up play by Bendtner. This is better from Sunderland.
    • 5' A poor throw by Robinson almost plays Jaaskelainen in trouble with Colback lurking but the Finn calmly slides the ball clear.
    • 4' The ball drops to Eagles again after Petrov's backheel and he drills in a testing low ball, it ricochets around the box and Brown hacks it clear! Bolton swarm forward again and Petrov shoots but weak and straight at the keeper Mignolet. Robinson is annoyed as he was in space for a pass.
    • 3' Good cross from a tight spot by Eagles and Brown has to be alert to nod it behind for a corner with Ngog lurking.
    • 2' Ngog on the move but he overruns it behind for a goal kick. Bright start from the hosts.
    • 1' The first half gets underway at the Reebok.

    • 14:50 Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is targeting an extension of his 100 per cent record against Bolton to belatedly kick-start the club's season: "We have got a good record at Bolton - let's hope we can go and play there. I think the longer it goes on, the better we will become here. I hope that's the case." More here!
    • 14:50 Bolton boss Owen Coyle is hoping this game can be the first step towards re-establishing the Reebok Stadium as a daunting place to visit: "We had a fortress at the Reebok last season. We want to get back to making sure that anyone coming to the Reebok knows they're going to have to be at their very best to try to get anything, and the sooner we do that, the better." More here!
    • 14:45 FACT: Steve Bruce has won his last three Prem visits as manager to the Reebok Stadium, 1-0 with Wigan in December 2008, 1-0 in August 2009, and 2-1 in May 2011 with Sunderland. In total he has four career PL victories at Bolton - his equal-most at any away ground.
    • 14:45 FACT: Trotters manager Owen Coyle has lost his last three Prem matches against Steve Bruce. His only ever victory was his Burnley side wining 3-1 at home in September 2009.
    • 14:40 For Bolton there is no change to the starting XI that beat Wigan last time out. That means Zat Knight remains benched with David Wheater partnering Gary Cahill at the back, while Fabrice Muamba's exile from the squad continues. Sunderland, meanwhile, welcome back Nicklas Bendtner - who was ineligible to face parent club Arsenal - and Phil Bardsley, who was banned.
    • 14:35 TEAMS - Bolton: Jaaskelainen, Boyata, Cahill, Wheater, Robinson, Eagles, Reo-Coker, Pratley, Petrov, Kevin Davies, Ngog; Subs: Bogdan, Sanli, Gardner, Knight, Mark Davies, Klasnic, Kakuta /// Sunderland: Mignolet, O'Shea, Turner, Brown, Richardson, Wickham, Vaughan, Colback, Larsson, Sessegnon, Bendtner; Subs: Westwood, Bardsley, Cattermole, Gardner, Ji, Meyler, Elmohamady /// Referee: Mike Jones (Cheshire).
    • 14:30 HEAD TO HEAD: Sunderland are unbeaten in their last five league matches against Bolton, winning the last four, since a 4-1 home defeat in November 2008. The Black Cats have won their last two Prem games at the Reebok Stadium, and are unbeaten in their last three there since a 2-0 win for Gary Megson's Bolton in May 2008.
    • 14:25 FACT: Sunderland have no win in their last three matches, winning only two of their last 10.
    • 14:20 FACT: Bolton have lost all four league home matches this season, and are the only club in all four divisions of English football yet to gain a point at home. If they lose today they will equal the Premier League record of losing their first five home matches of the season, set by Portsmouth in 2009-10.
