    • - Don't forget you can watch highlights of this match, along with every Premier League game, from 00:01 on Monday morning (UK only).
    • 90+5 That's it! Van Persie's hat-trick gives Arsenal the 5-3 win. Massive result and their first away win since February and an eighth win in nine matches.
    • 90+4 There's more than four being played, on account of the goal and Chelsea lump it forward.
    • 90+3 Sub Rosicky brought the ball clear, Arteta threaded Van Persie in on the left and he smacked in a swerving, vicious effort, bamboozling Cech like an early 90s Sega game and it is 5-3. What a game. Four minutes added time by the way.
    • 90+2 GOAL ARSENAL! HAT-TRICK VAN PERSIE! HE'S SO GOOD! SIGN HIM UP!
    • 90+1 Szczesny flaps at the corner but Mata can't capitalise! Cleared.
    • 90' Bosingwa gives it away and Arsenal could be in here, but the counter breaks down. Chelsea have a free-kick as Song is booked.
    • 89' Sorry about the goalscorer error there - got excited and used the wrong copy-paste hotkey.
    • 88' Chelsea have everyone forward now and Arsenal could hit them on the break. The Gunners bring Vermaelen on for Gervinho.
    • 87' Chelsea throwing men forward as Mata has a shot blocked.
    • 86' Oh dear. Cole passed it to Terry, who inexplicably fell over and Van Persie will never be caught there. Madness.
    • 85' Van Persie WITH A FOURTH! OH MY GOSH! Terry falls on his hind and RvP races one-on-one, rounds Cech and slides it home.
    • 84' Good slide tackle by Koscielny on Lukaku, winning the throw off the Belgian too.
    • 83' Looking at the replay Lukaku just eased Santos off the ball to allow Mata a clean strike. Men against boys - except Lukaku is a boy.
    • 82' Chelsea hunting for the winner as Terry almost wins a corner on the left.
    • 81' Santos AGAIN was shrugged off the ball far too easily by Lukaku as Mata picked it up on the edge of the box and curled a beauty home. 3-3!!
    • 80' GOAL CHELSEA! Mata with a superb curling finish from the edge of the D after Meireles's pass inside.
    • 79' Jenkinson with a smart clearance to prevent a corner. Walcott replaced by Rosicky.
    • 78' The ref books both men, RvP for nudging Ivanovic and the Serb for the foul. Replay shows Ivanovic went down like a White House intern circa 1995.
    • 77' Ivanovic goes down quite easily after a little face-to-face with Van Persie...
    • 76' Poor pass from Torres that rolls well beyond Lukaku.
    • 75' CHELSEA SUB: Mikel off for Meireles. Makes sense, a more attacking option.
    • 74' ARSENAL SUB: Jenkinson on for Djourou. Nervous reaction from Arsenal fans.
    • 73' Ball over the top releases Van Persie, it strays wide though and he can't shoot, instead cutting it back to RAMSEY but deflected off Terry and wide! Corner!
    • 72' What do you think about that sub? I thought Ramires gave a lot going forward, I would have taken Torres off who has been anonymous today. Let me know on Twitter, and keep it clean... @Reda_Maher
    • 71' CHELSEA SUB: Lukaku on for Ramires. Bold.
    • 70' Torres slides Malouda in and he could shoot here but the ball tangles between his feet and Song clears.
    • 69' Great pass to Gervinho who gets past Bosingwa, who recovers well. Chelsea counter now...
    • 68' Free-kick Chelsea, pumped in high and Szczesny flaps a bit but gets it clear, Song completing the defensive work.
    • 67' So Torres feels Koscielny pushed him in the face but that was just standing his ground.
    • 66' Torres is convinced he was fouled on the right but his appeals are ignored. I don't see what Koscielny did wrong.
    • 65' Confirmed that it was Sturridge who came off as Mata finds Ramires, but his pass is beyond Torres.
    • 64' Mata wins a free-kick on the left, taken quickly... Ramires and Bosingwa now but he can't find Torres.
    • 63' Great pass by Arteta to set Gervinho on his way, onside but Cech races out to hoof clear.
    • 62' CHELSEA SUB: Malouda comes on for Sturridge I think. Definitely Malouda but not 100% who came off.
    • 61' A Lampard free-kick is batted away by Szczesny and Arsenal break as Ramsey draws a low save from Cech at his near post! End to end!
    • 60' Bosingwa with a cross from wide but it veers out of play. Malouda is coming on...
    • 59' Oooh! Gervinho almost released through the middle by RvP. Manic now.
    • 58' Well I cautiously predicted a high-scoring draw earlier on Twitter and I have a feeling Arsenal will concede again - but so may Chelsea, who are all over the shop defensively all of a sudden.
    • 57' Cole gets around Mertesacker and hammers a long-range effort well over.
    • 56' That was a strange on - Arsenal took the free-kick on the right quickly, Walcott cut inside, went down but somehow Chelsea allowed him to get up, carry on running and strike a ferocious effort past Cech. Cole and co. were rowing with the ref, while Terry seemed to lose concentration. Cech let it in at his near post too - not great from him, but the pace was terriffic.
    • 55' GOAL ARSENAL! 3-2!! WHAT A STRIKE BY WALCOTT! Wow! 100mph rasping past Cech from the right after a quickly-taken free-kick.
    • 54' Mikel with some excellent defending to hold on to the ball deep and play it back to Cech under pressure.
    • 53' Ramsey gets in behind the midfield but Cole slides in to clear.
    • 52' Great slide tackle by Ramires on Gervinho, who goes down clutching his ankle.
    • 51' Free-kick then to Chelsea on the left side of the box... Lampard over it... He goes for goal but Szczesny pushes it away for a throw.
    • 50' Szczesny comes rushing out of the box with Cole through and he takes him out! What colour... lots of men back covering so only a yellow.
    • 49' GOAL ARSENAL! Andre Santos, after his terrible first half, gets his first Arsenal goal after doing what Brazilian left-backs do so well - getting forward. Loads of space thanks to poor covering by Sturridge, Gervinho's excellent pass putting him in. Low finish through the legs of Cech.
    • 48' Torres shoots from range, clean and low but the bottom left is covered well by Szczesny.
    • 47' Flicked just over by Ramsey! Great dribble from Gervinho, who knocks it low to Ramsey, who flicks it up and prods a looping ball just over!
    • 46' The second half is underway.
    • - Well, JT likes to write his own headlines doesn't he? I'm saying nothing else about him though. What do you think about that half? Have your say on the message facility below, or on Twitter @Reda_Maher
    • 45+2 Half time and Chelsea leading 2-1, but Arsenal have missed some sitters and defended like children. Children!
    • 45+1 Only one minute added time. A soft goal again for Arsenal to concede. Mertesacker doesn't look half the player he does for Germany - Jogi Loew watching on in the stands.
    • 45' GOAL CHELSEA! AND IT'S TERRY WITH THE FINISH! A slight touch after he shrugged off a weak challenge from Mertesacker. Poor defending from the big man at the corner.
    • 44' Chelsea have a corner on the left...
    • 43' Good defending by Bosingwa again on the right. Looking more like his old self today.
    • 42' Van Persie is beaten to a cross by Terry, who appears solid enough at the moment.
    • 41' An Arsenal move breaks down and Gervinho fouls Ramires as he counters. Lucky not to be booked.
    • 40' Free-kick to Arsenal around 30 yards out but Van Persie curls it a yard high and a yard wide.
    • 39' GOAL CHELSEA! But no! Offside! Sturridge knocks it home after Ramires's great low cross but the forward was offside. Just. Terrible defending again from Santos who was hapless in the extreme to let his fellow Brazilian past.
    • 38' Ramsey with a foul in midfield and the ref has a word with the fired-up Welshman.
    • 37' David - I cleared the Bosingwa thing up earlier: he only had a one-match ban, served in the Cup win over Everton.
    • 36' GOAL ARSENAL! Van Persie into an empty net after Ramsey sent Gervinho one-on-one, unselfish (i.e. classic Arsenal) from him to slip it to RvP when he probably would have scored.
    • 35' Walcott almost gets hold of the ball in the Chelsea area but Terry pokes it away.
    • 34' Poor pass from Gervinho when Arteta put him in a good decision, he played the ball behind Van Persie.
    • 33' Chelsea break and Santos again lets Sturridge ease away from him but this time Arsenal have strength in numbers and are able to clear.
    • 32' Van Persie slides Walcott in wide right but his cross is deflected this time and caught by Cech.
    • 31' Well there have now been two poor misses per team - Arsenal's possibly worse but little in it. Not much composure among these forwards although the RvP miss was uncharacteristic.
    • 30' Bad miss from Sturridge! Played clean through by Lampard's perfectly-weighted ball from halfway - first time too - but the young forward completely mis-hits it across goal and wide. Deary me.
    • 29' Van Persie tries to cross to Walcott but with Terry and Ivanovic in there he is unlikely to win a header. Gervinho is played in but he is offside.
    • 28' Mata on the left now, he finds Cole and Chelsea elect to stroke it about to gain some more possession.
    • 27' Cole on the left wing opts to look back to Lampard. He crosses and Mertesacker intercepts but it drops to Torres, who is ousted by a recovery challenge from the German.
    • 26' Torres springs the offside trap but is quite far wide on the left, Mertesacker able to head his cross clear. Long-range drive comes in from Ramires I think but straight at the keeper.
    • 25' Sturridge is off the pitch... just a change of boot it seems.
    • 24' Gervinho penalised for a handball.
    • 22' Song gives the ball away twice in quick succession. We recently did an analytical video on him being a weak link for that same reason. Alas it is no longer available due to Premier League rights, but you get the drift.
    • 21' Chelsea now holding on to the ball but Torres loses out to Santos for once.
    • 20' Bosingwa overruns it after getting in space down the right. It is worth noting that, while Arsenal's defending was poor for the goal, they had two gilt-edged chances to score in the minutes leading up to it. Fine margins at this level.
    • 19' Gervinho buys a corner off Ivanovic on the Arsenal left. Poor centre in the end but Ivanovic makes a pig's ear of the clearance and Mertesacker attacks the loose ball but heads it wide under pressure.
    • 18' Van Persie is isolated and has three Blues players ahead of him so tries to buy some time and space, Chelsea clear though.
    • 17' Sturridge with a direct run down the right again, Santos rubbish once more, but Song heads his clipped cross away.
    • 16' Roars from the crowd as Torres claims he was hauled back on halfway: nothing doing.
    • 15' Well. Arsenal should have scored and Chelsea did make them pay. Couple of minor errors from the new guys at Arsenal - Santos let Mata get inside him too easily, while Mertesacker seemed to slip as Lampard met the cross.
    • 14' GOAL CHELSEA! Lampard with a diving header from Mata's superb cross. Bottom right.
    • 13' The Arsenal fans in fine voice now after that brace of chances - will Chelsea make them pay?
    • 12' VAN PERSIE PUTS IT OVER! A tougher one than Gervinho's, but he should have scored! Unmarked at the far post after another wonderful cross by Walcott, but he half-volleyed over with his preferred left foot! Theo must be fuming - Arsenal should be up now!
    • 11' WHAT A MISS! Shocking error from Gervinho after a wonderful run by Walcott on the right. The England man got away from Cole, brilliant play, and he slid a glorious low ball across to Gervinho who only had to stroke it in at the unguarded far post - but he dragged it well wide.
    • 9' Lampard somehow gets above Mertesacker to meet a cross from the right, it seems to come off an Arsenal player but a goal-kick is awarded - possibly the ball in from Sturridge swung out.
    • 8' Chelsea now with a decent spell of possession as they use the right in particular.
    • 7' Not a great pass from Ramsey, Van Persie nowhere near it. Throw to Chelsea.
    • 6' Arsenal trying to get their possession game going but Chelsea are closing down rapidly and in numbers.
    • 5' Chelsea should have scored there but a poor ball from Sturridge after he went through on the right - he was trying to hand Torres a tap-in but played it straight to the keeper!
    • 4' Chelsea get caught out by a quick throw on the left but Cole is back to hack it way from Ramsey.
    • 3' Mertesacker gets his head on the ball, back in from Lampard but the flag is up. Down the other end Bosingwa does well to prevent Gervinho from getting in.
    • 2' Knocked behind for a corner, excellent defending by Koscielny as Torres was set to score. Djourou with the mistake to let Cole in.
    • 1' The first half is underway at the Bridge.
    • 12:40 Today's referee is Andre Marriner. By the way, you can engage with me on Twit-land - predictions, opinions, Terry-baiting - by following me on @Reda_Maher
    • 12:40 Arsenal, meanwhile, leave Vermaelen on the bench despite his return to fitness. He picked up a knock in the Cup so is not risked. Jenkinson is also deemed fit enough for the bench, while Rosicky and Arshavin miss out, with Walcott in there instead.
    • 12:40 A slight surprise for both teams then - Chelsea leave David Luiz out as Bosingwa returns following his sending off against QPR - he only had a one-match ban and served that in the Cup. Also Ramires returns from injury quicker than expected, while as expected Fernando Torres is back after his ban.
    • 12:35 TEAMS - Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Ramires, Lampard, Mata, Sturidge, Torres; Subs: Blackman, Luiz, Bertrand, Meireles, Romeu, Malouda, Lukaku /// Arsenal: Szczesny, Djourou, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Santos, Song, Arteta, Ramsey, Walcott, Gervinho, Van Persie; Subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Vermaelen, Frimpong, Rosicky, Arshavin, Park
    • 12:30 Arsenal have won none of their last eight Premier League away matches, their worst run since 1992; the last time they went nine without a win was April 1988. But Arsenal have won six times in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge, more often than any other team.
    • 12:25 The suspended Didier Drogba has scored 13 goals in 14 appearances against Arsenal in all competitions and eight goals in the Premier League. Arsenal’s record against Chelsea with him playing is W1 D3 L10, but in his absence Arsenal have won two, drawn one and lost none.
    • 12:20 Arsene Wenger: "Who would write off the title after nine games? But we have to realistic, we are not in contention at the moment... I hope the fans are less worried now. The situation is not so negative. They want the same as us - to win. I like [Villas-Boas], he speaks his mind, he's intelligent and he likes to go forward."
    • 12:15 Andre Villas-Boas on the John Terry racism row: "I have no concerns about his state of mind and I would say it's a big misunderstanding. I don't think it [the Ferdinand-Terry investigation] has been a distraction for us. For us, it was important to go back to winning ways in the Carling Cup. Now it is important for us to go back to winning ways in the Premier League after the defeat at QPR."
    • 12:10 TEAM NEWS: Thomas Vermaelen has been included in the Arsenal squad despite suffering a minor knock in the Carling Cup win over Bolton. A late decision will be made on the availability of right-back Carl Jenkinson (knee) but Kieran Gibbs (groin) is out, along with Jack Wilshere (ankle), Bacary Sagna (ankle) and Abou Diaby (also ankle).
    • 12:05 TEAM NEWS: Chelsea are without striker Didier Drogba and goalkeeper Ross Turnbull due to suspension, but Fernando Torres returns from his own ban and is ready to play while John Terry is expected to start in spite of a race row that shows no sign of going away. Michael Essien (knee) and Ramires (knee) are missing from midfield.
