    • 10' Wigan would move out of the bottom three with a draw here today, but that is easier said than done.
    • 9' Caldwell seems to be in a spot of distress after a clash of heads with Drogba. Ball back with Cech in the Chelsea box.
    • 8' Free-kick chance for Chelsea. Mata with the delivery, but Drogba can't get a header at goal as Al Habsi collects.
    • 7' Chelsea keeping the ball well here before Ivanovic is bundled to the ground by Figueroa.
    • 6' Maloney showing some neat footwork in the area. Knocks the ball straight to Malouda, who clears with some relish.
    • 5' Home boss Di Matteo munching on his chewing gum. Looks all very relaxed at the side of the park as Di Santo sees an effort deflect behind for a corner-kick.
    • 4' Ivanovic tries to cut a dash into the Wigan box, but is deemed to be guilty of a late challenge on Maloney.
    • 3' Chelsea have won only one of their last eight Premier League matches without John Terry and Frank Lampard in the starting line up, losing their last two games.
    • 2' Luiz taken out of the action late by Di Santo as he raced up the park. Pitch looks in splendid condition.
    • 1' We are off and running then in this match.
    • 14:55 With Tottenham drawing at Sunderland, Chelsea can close to within three points of Harry Redknapp side and to within two of Arsenal, who play at home to Manchester City tomorrow. Anything other than a win is unthinkable for Roberto Di Matteo and his players.
    • 14:50 Go on then, a couple more stats for you as you have been good: "Fernando Torres needs one more assist to record a new personal best in a single season (currently he has four). Wigan have lost 14 of their last 15 Premier League trips to London, conceding 46 goals in that period (3.1 per game)."
    • 14:45 Despite that tie with Barcelona looming ominously, the Premier League must remain Chelsea's priority, says our man Paul Parker. Do you agree? Parker: League the priority
    • 14:40 A couple of Opta stats to get you in the mood: "Chelsea have won 10 and lost just one of the 13 Premier League meetings with Wigan. Wigan have never kept a Premier League clean sheet against Chelsea and have lost five and won none of their six trips to Stamford Bridge."
    • 14:35 Wigan, who following a win over Stoke last weekend are now level on points with 17th-placed QPR, are unchanged, meaning striker Franco Di Santo starts against his former side.
    • 14:30 Chelsea are missing Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole and John Terry due to injury so Raul Meireles, Ryan Bertrand (making his first Premier League start) and Gary Cahill come in. Michael Essien, Daniel Sturridge, Florent Malouda and Didier Drogba also return to the side as Roberto Di Matteo rotates following the Benfica game.
    • 14:25 TEAMS: Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic Luiz, Cahill, Bertrand, Essien, Meireles, Malouda, Sturridge, Mata, Drogba. Subs: Turnbull, Bosingwa, Ferreira, Romeu, Mikel, Kalou, Torres. /// Wigan: Al Habsi, Alcaraz, Caldwell, Figueroa, Boyce, McCarthy, McArthur, Beausejour, Moses, Di Santo, Maloney. Subs: Kirkland, Stam, Crusat, Watson, Diame, Gomez, Sammon.
    • 14:20 Chelsea got past Benfica to set up a meeting with Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Champions League in midweek yet they start today in sixth place following Newcastle's victory over Swansea yesterday. A win will take them back level with the Magpies.
