    • 90+3' FULL-TIME: It stays goalless. Sunderland will be the more disappointed with the score, as the boos around the Stadium of Light suggest. Could so easily have been different at the death.
    • 90+2' SCHWARZER! WHAT A SAVE! Sessegnon's shot took a vicious deflection and Schwarzer looked to have committed himself, but improvised to save with his feet!
    • 90+1' Fulham change - Briggs replaces Dempsey.
    • 90' PENALTY SHOUT! Sunderland think they have one when Bardsley felled by Ruiz - clumsy, but the referee waves it away!
    • 89' Three added minutes - time running out here in the North East.
    • 88' Sessegnon tries a shot in a congested penalty box, but it looks as if it was own team-mate, Noble, who got in the way of it.
    • 87' Fulham change - Ruiz on, Duff off. For Sunderland it's youngster Ryan Noble for Elmohamady.
    • 86' DEMPSEY SPURNS A CHANCE! Fulham two-on-one as they break with Dembele and Dempsey - the Belgian plays in the American but his shot is wide of the mark. Wasted opportunity.
    • 85' Sessegnon such a handful on the left at the moment, flummoxing Fulham and winning a corner.
    • 84' Westwood with the ball in his hands after another Fulham break fizzles out. Is there a late twist in the tale, or are we heading for a 0-0 in Sunderland?
    • 83' Westwood confident again, straight out to claim the corner.
    • 82' Johnson does well, driving into the area form the right and drilling a shot at the far post, which the referee says came off a Sunderland player last. Corner.
    • 81' Etuhu gets on the end of the corner, but nods over the bar.
    • 80' Dembele tries a speculative shot from 25 yards - but though it was harmless enough it deflects away for a more useful corner.
    • 79' Remember, you can follow all six matches' final moments here
    • 78' Dembele trying to get Fulham moving, but they've lost their teeth. Sunderland block them out before the final third and get forward themselves.
    • 77' After two glorious moments from Sessegnon, this is horrible. Completely misjudges his shot from the edge of the box, and it must have sailed all of 30 yards over the top.
    • 76' Cattermole wins the ball and sprays a pass from halfway left to Sessegnon, who takes the ball down superbly.
    • 75' Wonderful skills from Sessegnon - he beats Hughes what feels like about three times before playing in a dangerous cross from the outside of his boot on the left hands side. Bendtner cannot quite get there.
    • 74' Dembele lays the ball off to Dempsey, but he's blocked off. Johnson's run on the right overlooked.
    • 73' Colback off, Ji Dong-Won on. Steve Bruce rolls the dice.
    • 72' Johnson and Hughes combine on the right for Fulham, but the latter's cross is dealt with well again.
    • 71' Looks like striker Dong is about to come on for Sunderland. There's a chance for someone to be a hero in this match.
    • 70' Corner for Fulham - Duff curls it in on his left foot, but Sunderland defend it well.
    • 69' A smiling Turner returns to the pitch. The bleeding has stopped, fortunately.
    • 68' First change: Johnson replaces Zamora. Incidentally Turner is still off the pitch having his nose attended to.
    • 67' HALF A CHANCE FOR DUFF! Powerful run from Dembele - the cutback from the byline was to nobody in particular but Duff gets to it - his shot blocked by Colback. Might Duff have been better leaving it to Etuhu?
    • 66' Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has become the first foreign player to reach 450 Premier League appearances and the 10th player overall to play this many Premier League matches (Infostrada)
    • 65' Nasty cut on Turner's nose - the medics are just trying to stem the flow of blood. Slight delay in play as they do. Still no substitutes used.
    • 64' Fulham slow things down a touch having made a welcome escape from their own half - the move ends with Murphy firing a low shot from the edge of the area - but despite trying a placed finish Murphy places it straight at Westwood.
    • 63' SCRAMBLE! Turner and Brown keep hooking the ball back across the goal as Fulham fail to clear Barrdsley's corner - and from the next corner Sessegnon scoops a shot just a foot or two wide from close range!
    • 62' O'Shea trudges forward as Bardsley preappares to swing in another corner.
    • 61' The draw suits neither side very much - they'll end the day 15th and 16th in the league as it stands.
    • 60' Noise at the Stadium of Light seems to have increased tenfold.
    • 59' John O'Shea keeps another Bardsley cross in play, but Fulham scramble the ball away. Both sides looking pretty sharp at the back, but both beginning to be a bit more adventurous up front.
    • 58' Corner to the Black Cats - Bardsley comes across to take it. Schwarzer does enough to deny Sessegnon a header on the goal line.
    • 57' If you can tear yourself away, you can follow all the action across the top flight by clicking here
    • 56' Game starting to go from end-to-end - could be an exciting final half an hour.
    • 55' Good cross from Bendtner on the left, Richardson doesn't make enough contact with his header. Bendtner done some good work as a playmaker, but not much in the striker role...
    • 54' Elmohamady's low cross from the right cleared out with ease, but Sunderland just getting themselves back into the game.
    • 53' Zamora almost gets on the end of a decent ball through from Murphy - Westwood once again up to the challenge.
    • 52' Sunderland fans baying their appreciation for a powerful run from Bardsley, but he cannot chase down the long ball forward, and has to track back quickly.
    • 51' Murphy's corner produces another corner, and Fulham starting to settle back it into a good rhythm. But then Murphy scuffs a corner along the ground into the side netting on the post. Expect to see that on our hot or not video on Tuesday - that was rubbish.
    • 50' BAIRD CLOSE! Good hit from Fulham, who lay the ball off left for Baird to thump from distance - Westwood gets down well to tip it around the post.
    • 49' Brown not happy to be penalised by Taylor for a foul just outside the box. It was a light foul to give away, and an excellent area for the visitors.
    • 48' Hughes opts for the long ball, picks out Zamora. No support at first, so he gets towards the corner flag before dropping the ball off for Duff.
    • 47' Zamora fires what looks like a tame shot at Westwood - perhaps he was eyeing a cross as well. Niether here nor there in a tentative start to the second half.
    • 46' Sunderland kick off the second half. No changes so far as I can see.
    • - Looking for something to fill 15 minutes until the second half? Why not join me, Mark Patterson, on Twitter?
    • 45+1' HALF-TIME: Fulham had chances at the start and end of the half - Sunderland better for most of the rest of the game. Nobody's managed to score yet, though. All to play for at the Stadium of Light.
    • 45+1' CATTERMOLE DENIES ETUHU ON THE LINE! Good powerful header from Duff's corner, and Cattermole manning the near post does well to head it away.
    • 45+1' Another corner after Murphy's scuffed shot ends up falling Duff's way again. Bardsley blocks.
    • 45' Crowd appeal for handball against Zamora - not given, Fulham break and Duff's eventual cross wins the visitors a corner.
    • 44' One additional minute to be played.
    • 43' Sessegnon picks out Bendtner - Sunderland just upping the pace as we near the interval.
    • 42' Good cross from Elmohamady, but no striker there to pounce. The Egyptian has been the best player on the pitch in the first half.
    • 41' Baird very close to getting on the end of Murphy's cute chipped through ball - again good keeping from Westwood to commit to getting to the ball first.
    • 40' Sessegnon plays a through ball - who's on the end of it - Michael Tuner, of all people. But he's offside, because Aaron Hughes remembered in the nick of time to step up.
    • 39' Sunderland fans making themselves heard, but there's a bit of nervous energy in the crowd too. They've seen opportunties come and go without scoring.
    • 38' Sessegnon opts to slide the ball across to Bardsley, who drills a shot straight at a Fulham defender. Not the best set piece. The hosts missing the suspended Larson in that instance.
    • 37' Bendtner caught by Etuhu - poor challenge in a dangerous spot on the edge of the area. Etuhu needs to calm down before he sees red.
    • 36' Cattermole up and running by the way, but could have been very nasty.
    • 35' Oh dear - Etuhu goes in with his studs up and his foot high for a bouncing ball. Cattermole sore. Etuhu booked.
    • 34' Colback tries to take a quick free-kick, but his ball to Sessegnon leaves the Frenchman trying to dribble down a blind alley.
    • 33' Honours even, and the edge just gone from this game for the moment. Fulham will be pleased to have weathered the storm.
    • 32' Duff's cross interests Dembele, but Westwood does well to clear.
    • 31' Zamora steps away from Brown and gets room to try an angled cross, but it's to nobody in particular. Westwood tells his defensive duo to let it drift out of play.
    • 30' Schwarzer fluffs a goal kick - no distance on it at all, and the defence have to hastily clear. Pressure invited back on the visitors.
    • 29' Yellow for Cattermole. Clumsy, clumsy challenge. That's the 48th yellow of his career. He's 23.
    • 28' A couple of good passes and then the ball is lost - not for the first time today for Fulham. Turner gets the better of Dempsey, though both are sore after that one.
    • 27' Free-kick for Zamora as Brown clips his heels. Can Fulham make any use of the set piece from halfway?
    • 26' Elmohamady gets the better of Baird and pings a cross into the middle of the box, but Hangeland is there to boot the ball out of danger.
    • 25' Elmohamady fouled and Sunderland have a free-kick from deep. Fulham again struggle to make a telling clearance.
    • 24' Nice flick from Bendtner - not seen too much of him as a striker today, but he's done plenty to link up the play.
    • 23' Good move from Sunderland - Colback with the cross, Sessegnon beats Hangeland to the header - but Schwarzer manages to make a relatively comfortable save.
    • 22' Dempsey and Murphy have been very quiet for the visitors so far. The battle being lost in midfield.
    • 21' O'Shea beats Dempsey to Etuhu's pass and gets Sunderland moving forward once again.
    • 20' Etuhu and Hangeland slow things down a little, trying to get Fulkham back into some rhythm. But possession is lost again.
    • 19' Fulham, who've played some superb football on occasions this season, especially in the Europa League, are really struggling to get into the game at the moment.
    • 18' Elmohamady and Sessegnon swap passes, but there's nowhere to go. The ball works its way backwards until it ends up with Westwood.
    • 17' Steve Bruce looking calm on the touchline, but he'll be disappointed that his side have come so close to taking the lead without finding the opener.
    • 16' COLBACK HITS THE BAR! Goodness me that was close - he closed down a clearance and lashed a shot at goal from 10 yards but for the second time in this match the hosts are denied by the woodwork.
    • 15' Elmohamady getting into the middle but the ball goes over the top - all Sunderland at the moment though.
    • 14' Colback gets the better of a slightly ugly tussle with Zamora. The young midfielder in the thick of things so far in this match.
    • 13' Fulham look to get going with a throw-in deep in their own half.
    • 12' A reminder that the goals are flowing elsewhere in the Premier League and you can keep up to date with every game's key moments by clicking this link
    • 11' A few very good chances now - Sunderland began on the back foot but are startign to make their mark.
    • 10' COLBACK SHOULD DO BETTER! Played in and had plenty of space after Bendtner's ball. Should he have shot or picked out Sessegnon? Schwarzer smothered, but it was another good chance.
    • 9' RICHARDSON CLOSE! Senderos heads out the corner, but Sunderland stay in possession - chance comes up as Sessegnon chips a short cross to Richardson, whose header hits the bar!
    • 8' Richardson stands over a free-kick in a useful position on the left, but Bardsley ends up taking it. Fulham clear - but only for a corner.
    • 7' SAVE FROM WESTWOOD! Good control from Dembele to skip around Turner - decent strike as well, but Westwood stands up to it well. Warning shot.
    • 6' Bendtner's touch lets him down and Fulham break forward once more...
    • 5' Nice holding play from Dembele and a decent ball out wide to Duff. The move appears to fizzle out but Fulham are awarded the throw on the flank to Sunderland's surprise.
    • 4' Bardsley likes a shot from distance, and when Fulham back off him the defender lets fly. But although there was plenty of power behind it, it sailed wide of the post.
    • 3' Fulham the first of the two sides to string some passes together, but Cattermole brings Dembele down on halfway to end that.
    • 2' Good jinking move from Sessegnon on the right, but eventually he runs out of room and the ball goes out for a goal kick.
    • 1' Kick-off at the Stadium of Light!
    • 14:59 Anthony Taylor is our referee today.
    • 14:58 Both teams in their home kit.
    • 14:57 A nice pleasant November day in Sunderland. Good conditions for football.
    • 14:56 The players come out on to the pitch.
    • 14:55 Martin Jol: "If you play Bobby (Zamora) with the offensive midfield players he can be very useful. If you play him on his own with a flat midfield, you are better playing Darren Bent. They give all the options so I think Capello will think about taking him because he is a different sort of number nine. Capello will know he is a number nine who will hold the ball up all the time. His first touch is very good, he's good in the box, and he's a link-up number nine."

    • 14:45 More on the scale of Bruce's bad run against Fulham: Sunderland have failed to score in five of their last six meetings with Fulham, including the last four in a row. That stat is courtesy of our friends at Opta.
    • 14:40 Steve Bruce: "Since I moved to Sunderland we haven't had a good record against Fulham. Let's hope we can go and play and put that record to bed and get the result that we need this weekend. We've played well lately and we must maintain that. If we do that and keep the standards that we've set in recent games we'll be okay."
    • 14:35 TEAM NEWS: So Ahmed Elmohamady has made it into the starting eleven, but Vaughan remains on the bench as he recovers from a groin injury for Sunderland. Westwood continues between the sticks with both Mignolet and Gordon out. For Fulham there is no Kelly or Grygera in the back four, which means that Senderos is paired with Hangeland at the back. Sidwell did not recover from a minor hernia op in time to feature.
    • 14:30 An exciting early kick-off drawing to a close at Carrow Road where Arsenal are visiting Norwich. Come straight back here after following the conclusion of that one.
    • 14:25 SUNDERLAND: Westwood, O'Shea, Turner, Brown, Bardsley, Elmohamady, Colback, Cattermole, Richardson, Bendtner, Sessegnon – Subs - Carson, Gardner, Vaughan, Ji, Meyler, Noble, Egan /// FULHAM: Schwarzer, Hughes, Hangeland, Baird, Senderos, Dempsey, Murphy, Etuhu, Duff, Zamora, Dembele – Subs - Etheridge, Johnson, Kasami, Ruiz, Gecov, Briggs, Kacaniklic
