    • 90+4' City kick off and the final whistle blows immediately! What an incredible game, what an incredible result! Amazing! Both Manchester clubs beaten in consecutive days.
    • 90+4' GOOAAALLL!!! SUNDERLAND HAVE WON IT!! Amazing! Completely against the run of play, Ji Dong-Won has scored with the last kick of the game! As City poured forward, they were caught on the break - Ji was actually offside when he received the ball, but rounded Hart superbly and finished into the empty net!
    • 90+3' AGUERO!! Smashes a 20-yarder but yet another heroic block denies him!
    • 90+3' Whistles ring out around the Stadium of Light as City pump it forward again... Barry's shot is blocked!
    • 90+2' Yet another clearance from Kilgallon, who has been great since coming on.
    • 90+1' Into stoppage time, of which there will be at least three minutes. A roar goes up from the visiting fans.
    • 90' For what it's worth, Richards was offside (but not flagged) when he hit the bar. Silva tests Mignolet with another shot from the edge of the box.
    • 89' CROSSBAR!! Mignolet parries Silva's 20-yarder and Richards heads the follow-up onto the bar! So close City!
    • 88' Cattermole is down injured and Kompany puts the ball out. Not saying he's faking it, but the stoppage certainly helps Sunderland catch their breath. The home side are out of substitutions.
    • 87' Now Barry hits a rght-foot shot into a defender's body. A half-hearted penalty appeal for handball goes up - no dice, says referee Friend.
    • 86' Silva clips a lovely ball to the overlapping Zabaleta whose control lets him down. Sunderland just about holding firm...
    • 85' City throw on the left, Zabaleta to take it... short to Barry... then to Toure who is tackled.
    • 84' Ji controls at the edge of the box and this looks promising for Sunderland... but he dawdles for an age, and loses possession.
    • 83' Sunderland change: Ahmed Elmohamady comes on for David Vaughan.
    • 82' Silva crosses brilliantly from the left, and Kilgallon makes a vital intervention to prevent Dzeko heading City in front!
    • 81' Oh Dzeko! That rather sums up his day. Aguero lays it off to the Bosnian at the edge of the box and he gets underneath it, blasting the ball high into the crowd.
    • 79' Vaughan tries to make some headway into the City half, but he loses possession and back comes the wave of blue... relentless stuff from City though they have not carved out too many clear chances.
    • 78' Johnson slides a ball into the box, but it is scuffed clear by a red and white shirt. Backs-to-the-wall stuff from Sunderland.
    • 77' Sunderland are making a change: Ji-Dong Won comes on for Nicklas Bendtner.
    • 75' City work the ball into the box slickly, before Richards is penalised for a push on Colback.
    • 74' McClean does brilliantly to evade Johnson and Richards, who deflects the cross out for a throw.
    • 73' Sunderland get the ball in City territory - a rarity in the second half...
    • 71' Another City attack comes to nought as Richards takes a heavy touch and sends the ball out for a throw.
    • 70' Excellent block from Gardner to deny Zabaleta, who shot from an angle on the left! Sunderland clinging on...
    • 69' Cattermole commits a foul 40 yards out, and again all 11 Sunderland players retreat to defend the set piece.
    • 68' Zabaleta's cross from the left is cleared as far as Aguero at the edge of the box - he shoots on the slide and sends his effort wide.
    • 67' Dzeko again! He meets a Silva free-kick in a crowded box, and glances his header wide.
    • 66' City make their third and final change, with Micah Richards replacing Aleksandar Kolarov.
    • 64' Dzeko has another crack from long range - it deflects off a defender but Mignolet adjusts and gathers with minimal fuss.
    • 63' GREAT CHANCE SESSEGNON! He glides past Kompany and goes for goal with the outside of his boot, shooting just wide! he had Bendtner screaming for the ball but decided to go it alone. To be honest, you can't blame him. But that is two golden chances Sunderland have missed.
    • 61' After an interminable delay, Larsson hits the free-kick and whacks it into the top of the wall.
    • 60' Now City are unhappy as Kompany is penalised for impeding Bendtner. Free-kick Sunderland.
    • 59' Sessegnon appears to be clearly fouled but ref Kevin Friend waves play on - and City work the ball into the box for AGUERO!! His effort is saved by the legs of Mignolet! That would have been a hugely controversial goal and the Sunderland players have a right go at Mr Friend.
    • 58' The visitors have been much the better side since half-time, and you sense there could be some awkward moments between now and full-time for the hosts.
    • 57' Another chance for Dzeko, who sends a sidefoot curler over from the edge of the box. He hasn't scored since November 5 and he is short of confidence.
    • 56' Aguero has an effort deflected wide for a corner... City pressing now.
    • 55' Here's the change - David Silva on for Samir Nasri.
    • 54' David Silva takes his tracksuit off, and that is a sight that will strike fear into the hearts of Sunderland fans.
    • 52' Corner at the other end... City manage to flick it on, but Sunderland manage to clear, albeit in a scrappy fashion.
    • 51' Larsson delivers a corner from the Sunderland left... Hart punches it clear.
    • 50' Toure volleys wide from 20 yards. That was a pretty ambitious effort...
    • 49' A decent spell of possession for Sunderland results in Cattermole narrowly failing to find Bendtner in the box, but Sunderland have a corner anyway...
    • 47' Sessegnon finds McClean wide on the left, but the Irishman's cross is a poor one, landing on the top of the net.
    • 46' We're back under way, and there has been a half-time change - Sergio Aguero is on for Nigel De Jong!
    • 45+2' Half-time on Wearside! No goals, but a decent game here. back in a few minutes.
    • 45+1' Great hit by Gardner, taking the ball first time 25 yards out - it bends agonisingly wide!
    • 45' Nasri leads a City counter-attack, but there are two red and white shirts in hot pursuit and Sunderland win the ball back. Great chasing.
    • 43' Dzeko hits a low, long-range shot but it has nowhere near enough power to trouble Mignolet.
    • 42' City have not looked their most threatening so far - David Silva and Sergio Aguero lie in wait on the bench if needed.
    • 41' Now a free-kick in a similar position at the other end - Seb Larsson delivers and Hart gets a good punch away.
    • 40' Nasri tees it up for Kolarov, but the pass is telegraphed and Sunderland close the full-back down.
    • 39' City win a free-kick on the left, 30 yards from goal. Nasri stands over it.
    • 38' Good cross from Johnson - unconvincing again from Mignolet who beats the ball into the turf when it looks like he could have held it.
    • 36' It hasn't been a classic by any means, but this is much better than the lunchtime kick-off between West Brom and Everton...
    • 35' Mignolet punches a corner to the edge of the box where Dzeko is lurking - he smashes a shot that clips the top of the bar on the way over!
    • 33' Nasri fires a low diagonal shot that Gardner clears! Not sure it was on target but Gardner sensibly left nothing to chance.
    • 33' Mignolet saves from Dzeko! Johnson's low ball into the box falls for the Bosnian, but the keeper makes himself big and repels the shot.
    • 32' Mignolet flaps at the corner but gets away with it. How much is that injury playing on his mind?
    • 31' Zabaleta hooks the ball in for Dzeko at the edge of the box - he fires a shot that ricochets out for a corner.
    • 30' Kolarov tries a Philippe Albert-style chip from 30 yards, but sends it wide.
    • 29' Gardner's throw comes to Sessegnon, who spins past his man and hits a volley... a poor one that goes out for a throw. Still, Sessegnon has made a lively start.
    • 27' Wes Brown has a groin problem, Sunderland are saying.
    • 26' Sunderland change: Off goes Brown, and he is replaced by Matt Kilgallon.
    • 25' Gardner crosses pacily from the Sunderland right, Sessegnon attempts a bicycle kick but cannot make contact.
    • 24' Sessegnon dribbles inside from the right then has a long shot blocked. Wes Brown is really struggling.
    • 23' Wes Brown is limping, and Sunderland's injury-ravaged back line might be about to suffer another blow...
    • 22' Johnson runs at Colback again, but this time it is the Sunderland man who comes out on top.
    • 21' Johnson has found his chances somewhat limited under Roberto Mancini but I can't imagine City allowing him to leave the club in January. He is a really useful player to have in your armoury.
    • 20' Johnson glides inside from the right and leaves Colback on his backside. Such an exicting player...
    • 18' Another foul, as Larsson impedes De Jong. Not a great deal of flow to the game.
    • 17' It's a big day for James McClean, who is making his first Premier League start in midfield for Sunderland. He made three substitute appearances in December.
    • 16' Barry fouls Sessegnon inside the Sunderland half. A bit of a scrappy start to this match.
    • 14' Toure makes a barnstorming run into the box and tries to find Dzeko, but the ball is cut out.
    • 13' Johnson takes a left-foot shot from the right and curls it just over - he loves those, the winger.
    • 12' Toure runs at Brown, who takes the safer option and simply puts the ball out for a corner rather than attempting to win possession.
    • 10' City are enjoying the lion's share of possession and territory so far, but they have yet to test Simon Mignolet, who is wearing a face mask today as he returns from a broken eye socket.
    • 9' Long throw from the left by Kolarov... Gardner clears.
    • 7' De Jong trips Cattermole as Sunderland looks to break again. That should be a booking... and is. Bad tackle.
    • 6' We've just seen a replay of that Bendtner chance. He would have been better served by taking an earlier shot and not trying to take it round Hart.
    • 5' Kolarov pings in a low cross from the left... cleared.
    • 4' Hart comes out of his goal to clear, and he shanks the ball miles in the air - he does, however, find touch.
    • 3' ...Sessegnon finds Bendtner with a superb pass, he's through one on one... he tries to go round Hart but the keeper makes himself big and repels the big Dane! What a chance...
    • 2' City win the game's first corner, it is cleared and here come Sunderland...
    • 1' Game on! City kick off, playing from right to left as we see it. Both teams in their home kit.
    • 14:57 Out come the teams at the Stadium of Light! A cracking atmosphere and a good game in store.
    • 14:55 I'm Alex Chick, and you can get in touch with me on Twitter @alexchick81 Follow me on Twitter
    • 14:50 Despite City's six changes, Martin O'Neill makes the obvious point that none of the men Roberto Mancini has picked can be considered a true second-string player.
    • 14:45 To clarify - Mario Balotelli is not injured and he has travelled with City. He is just not in the 18-man playing squad.
    • 14:40 Sunderland have won two and lost 11 of their 14 Premier League games against Manchester City, but did win this fixture at the Stadium of Light last season. Sunderland have won just three of their last 17 Premier League matches at the Stadium of Light (W3 D5 L9).
    • 14:35 Martin O'Neill makes four changes for Sunderland - Mignolet, Gardner, Colback and McClean come in for Westwood, Bramble, Bardsley and Richardson.
    • 14:30 Those six Manchester City changes: Joleon Lescott for Kolo Toure, Edin Dzeko for Sergio Aguero, Adam Johnson for Mario Balotelli, Aleksandar Kolarov for Gael Clichy, Nigel de Jong for David Silva, Gareth Barry for James Milner.
    • 14:25 Oh, the luxury of being Manchester City manager. Roberto Mancini fields a fearsomely strong side despite leaving out David Silva, Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli. Silva and Aguero are part of possibly the strongest bench of all time.
    • 14:20 SUNDERLAND: Mignolet, Gardner, O'Shea, Brown, Colback, McClean, Cattermole, Vaughan, Larsson, Bendtner, Sessegnon... Subs: Carson, Kilgallon, Elmohamady, Ji, Meyler, Noble, Laing. /// MAN CITY: Hart, Zabaleta, Lescott, Kompany, Kolarov, Johnson, De Jong, Toure Yaya, Barry, Nasri, Dzeko... Subs: Pantilimon, Richards, Clichy, Savic, Milner, Silva, Aguero... Referee: Kevin Friend (Leicestershire)
