    • 83' Spurs look like they are going to end the season the way they have performed for so much of it, by playing some great football. They have had 74% of the possession in the past five minutes.
    • 81' A defiant rendition of "When the Spurs go marching in" from the home fans, but it looks as though their hopes of finishing above Arsenal for the first time since 1995 are going to be dashed.
    • 79' Fulham clear the corner but Spurs retain possession. They are forced to play it all the way back to Friedel, however.
    • 78' Adebayor controls Modric's lovely pass down the right, and he wins a corner from it.
    • 76' Totenham substitution: Adam Smith comes on for his Tottenham debut, replacing Kaboul.
    • 75' It looks like Newcastle are well out of the race for the top four: now they are losing 3-0 at Everton.

    • 71' Now Spurs do have a corner, their seventh of the game.

    • 64' Defoe's 11th league goal of the season came less than three minutes after he came off the bench.
    • 63' GOAL!! Defoe has made it two for Totenham! Fulham fail miserably to clear their lines and Lennon's shot deflects into the path of the substitute who pounces!

    • 60' Dembele hits the post! The Belgian shifted half a yard wide of Nelsen and drills a cracking low shot off the foot of the far post!

    • 56' White Hart Lane has suddenly gone very quiet... Arsenal are now 3-2 in front against West Brom. Laurent Koscielny with the goal. The Gunners are now on course to finish third.
    • 55' Diarra is too enthusiastic as he leaps into a header against Adebayor and gets a bumpy landing. He's receiving treatment.
    • 54' Adebayor muscles his way past Hughes and is one-on-one with Schwarzer... The keeper blocks the shot, but the whistle had already gone. Adebayor was correctly judged to have fouled Hughes as he won the ball.

    • 14:58 A huge roar greets the players as they walk out on to the White Hart Lane turf. Brace yourselves... Let me know your thoughts on Twitter!
    • 14:55 Your referee for this game is FA Cup final official Phil Dowd. The Stoke ref has dished out 104 bookings this season at a rate of 3.9 a game, both more than anyone else this term. Dowd was in the middle when Man City thrashed Spurs 5-1 on this ground back in August. How long ago does that seem now?
    • 14:50 The players are just finishing their pre-match warm-up now. Lots of high fives among the Spurs players as they gee themselves up for this huge game which could prove pivotal in their modern history. In an open letter to fans on the Spurs website today, chairman Daniel Levy writes: "It is a mark of our progress and the quality of our squad that each season we now look and expect to be competing at the top of our game."
    • 14:45 With the title, Champions League, Europa League and relegation still all to be settled, today looks likely to go down as one of the most dramatic final days in Premier League history. But will it match Ludek Miklosko's heroics, Alan Ball telling his players to shield the ball int he corner, United winning the treble or, ahem, 'Lasagne-gate'? Top 10 final day dramas

    • 14:35 Head-to-head: Tottenham have completed the Premier League double over Fulham twice before – in 2000-01, and last season. Spurs are unbeaten in their last six league games against Fulham, who have been unable to score in six out of their last seven league visits to White Hart Lane, including the last three. When these two sides met back in November, Spurs won 3-1 at Craven Cottage, thanks in no small part to an inspired perofrmance by Brad Friedel in goal. Match report: Fulham 1-3 Tottenham
    • 14:30 Fulham are without Clint Dempsey for their Barclays Premier League trip to White Hart Lane. Dempsey is struggling with a groin injury, so Kerim Frei starts in the American's stead. Fulham manager – and ex-Spurs boss - Martin Jol is also without Bryan Ruiz (foot), Dickson Etuhu (knee) and Steve Sidwell (hernia) on his first return to his old stomping ground. Fulham team page
    • 14:25 So, the only change in personnel from the Spurs team which drew 1-1 at Aston Villa last weekend sees Jake Livermore start in place of the suspended Danny Rose. It looks like Gareth Bale will go to left-back, with Livermore sitting deep alongside Sandro in a 4-2-3-1. On the bench Spurs have attacking options with Louis Saha, Jermkain Defoe, Giovani dos Santos and young Harry Kane, while 21-year-old defender Adam Smith is s a surprise inclusion among the substitutes. • 14:20 Tottenham: Friedel, Walker, Gallas, Kaboul, Bale, Lennon, Livermore, Sandro, Modric, Van der Vaart, Adebayor. Subs: Cudicini, Saha, Giovani, Defoe, Nelsen, Kane, Smith /// Fulham: Schwarzer, Kelly, Hughes, Hangeland, John Arne Riise, Diarra, Murphy, Dembele, Duff, Pogrebnyak, Frei. Subs: Stockdale, Kasami, Senderos, Gecov, Bjorn Helge Riise, Briggs, Trotta.
    • 14:15 Well, well, well... In just one of many matches on the final day this afternoon, Tottenham know they will finish third in the tabl;e if they win and Arsenal fail to secure victory at West Brom. Even a score draw would be enough for Spurs if the Gunners lose and Newcastle fail to win. Fulham, for what it's worth, are playing for the chance to finish as high as seventh, setting a new highest Premier League points total of 55 in the process. Premier League table
