    • 89' Kaboul with a fine tackle to block Sigurdsson's effort at the near post. The corner arrives but it is headed behind for a Spurs goal kick.
    • 88' A change for Tottenham as Danny Rose replaces Assou-Ekotto.
    • 87' Tottenham deserve that. They have been by far the better side.

    • 86' Fantastic from Bale. He charges through the centre of midfield, checks onto his left and hammers a fine shot at goal. Saved by Vorm.
    • 85' Spurs make a change as Jake Livermore comes on for Van der Vaart. That's to tighten things up.
    • 84' Modric gets a return pass from Lennon and races into the box to fire in a low effort that Vorm saves well. The Croatian has been superb today.
    • 82' Sigurdsson goes close with a fantastic free kick that dips nastily and flies just wide of Friedel's near post.
    • 80' A change for Swansea as Luke Moore comes on for Graham, who has been ineffectual today.
    • 79' Bale goes on a fantastic run and is brought to ground in clumsy fashion by Williams. He wants a penalty but Modric is given the advantage and fails to get his shot away cleanly.
    • 77' Stat from Infostrada: "Emmanuel Adebayor is Tottenham’s top scorer with 12 PL goals this season."
    • 75' As things stand, Spurs will be drawing level with Arsenal on 58 points, five ahead of fifth-placed Chelsea.

    • 72' Bale gets his head to the following corner from Van der Vaart and is deflected behind for another corner.
    • 72' Adebayor gets a shot away from the edge of the box following a pass from Van der Vaart but Vorm is equal to his effort. Williams then has to cut out a cross from Bale to Adebayor.
    • 71' Spurs also make a change as Aaron Lennon returns to the pitch to replace Sandro, with Redknapp switching to a 4-4-2.
    • 71' Nathan Dyer replaces Routledge for Swansea.
    • 70' Assou-Ekotto goes in rather recklessly on Routledge but injures his shoulder and requires treatment. It was two-footed and from the side.
    • 69' Bale cuts onto his right foot and forces Vorm into a smart save down to his right.
    • 68' Adebayor claims he has been prevented from reaching a Van der Vaart corner from the left but the referee waves play on.
    • 67' Now Bale gets free again on the left though and finds Van der Vaart with a cute cross. The Dutchman gets in front of his man to angle a header at goal and Vorm turns it round the post. From the corner, Assou-Ekotto fires one over the bar.
    • 66' Bale delivers a corner from the left as Spurs seek to reassert their dominance but the Welshman can't find a team-mate.
    • 65' Sigurdsson has been fantastic in the second half and what a signing he has proved since his January loan move from Hoffenheim. Swansea will be looking to make that permanent no doubt.
    • 63' Parker takes a knock to the head but after initially appearing dazed, he is okay to continue.
    • 61' Stat from Infostrada: "Gylfi Sigurdsson has now scored six goals in Swansea‘s last five PL away matches, including five in their last three."
    • 59' GOAL! Tottenham 1-1 Swansea! Sigurdsson with his sixth goal in 11 games! Allen has a shot that deflects and loops into the air, and Routledge does brilliantly to hold off his marker and chest the ball into the path of the midfielder, who fires the ball into the turf first time, sending it bouncing into the far corner.
    • 57' It's all gone a bit scrappy for a minute or two. Sloppy passes and poor control.
    • 55' Stat from Infostrada: "Spurs have won only three of their last 13 PL matches against promoted clubs stretching back to December 2009."
    • 53' Tottenham work the ball short and then embark on a prolonged passing move. It ends when Sandro lifts a ball into the box, allowing Vorm to come off his line and pluck it out of the air.
    • 52' Bale glides past Rangel despite getting a bump from the right-back and wins a corner when his cross is deflected behind.
    • 51' Swansea fail to do anything with the corner but that effort from the Icelandic midfielder will give them real encouragement.
    • 50' What a hit and what a save! Sigurdsson finds a pocket of space 25 yards out and hammers a vicious effort towards the top corner. Friedel reacts superbly to come across and tip it onto the post. Fantastic.
    • 49' Stat from Infostrada: "Tottenham have won all eight PL matches at White Hart Lane in which they were leading at half-time this season."
    • 48' Walker kicks out in frustration and accidentally connects with Taylor. He apologises though and all is forgiven.
    • 46' KICK OFF!

    • 45+1' HALF TIME. Van der Vaart's accomplished finish has Spurs leading Swansea 1-0 at the break.
    • 45' Adebayor is desperate for a pass out wide but, unusually, Modric is selfish as he drives a shot wide from 20 yards.
    • 44' Kaboul hits the byline for Spurs and pulls a cross back into the box but Vorm smothers. Not entirely sure what the Frenchman was doing that high up the pitch in the first place though.
    • 43' Sinclair and Sigurdsson both attempt to find a way through the home defence but Tottenham stand firm as they defend in numbers.
    • 42' Stat from Infostrada: "Swansea have collected nine points from nine matches against the top six ranked teams in the PL this season. Only Man City (18), Man Utd (17), Liverpool (12) and Arsenal (10) have won more points. Chelsea are also on nine."
    • 41' The pace has dropped a touch in the past five minutes. Spurs remain on top though.
    • 39' Bale goes close! Benoit Assou-Ekotto curls in a cross from the left and Modric gets a touch to the ball to turn it into the path of Bale, who meets ball on the bounce and thumps a volley over the bar.
    • 38' Parker makes a great interception to take the ball away from Allen but Swansea regroup and prevent Spurs from creating a shot on goal.
    • 37' Sigurdsson wins a free kick in midfield but Swansea looked to be mounting a counter-attack there.
    • 36' Vorm is put under pressure from a Van der Vaart free kick but punches away from the delivery from his compatriot.
    • 34' Rangel is guilty of a sloppy pass allowing Adebayor to take control of the ball in the final third. He delays before playing in Sandro with a diagonal pass but he scuffs his shot. The ball finds its way to Bale, who rifles an effort off target.
    • 33' Swansea have had a few half-chances but Tottenham have done well to keep them largely subdued in the first half.
    • 31' Gylfi Sigurdsson swings in a corner from the left and Williams gets in behind Walker to connect with a header on the edge of the six-yard box, but he only succeeds in sending the ball bouncing off the turf and over.
    • 30' Van der Vaart's deep corner finds Younes Kaboul at the far post and when he directs his header back across goal, Michel Vorm comes across to save.
    • 29' Walker gets hold of the ball on the right wing and thumps in a fierce cross that Williams clears at full-stretch. Excellent defending from the Swansea man.
    • 27' Sandro with a clever turn to elude Allen in midfield but his subsequent pass forward to Van der Vaart has too much on it and the Dutchman can't control.
    • 26' Stat from Infostrada: "Spurs are unbeaten in the last 10 PL matches with Rafael van der Vaart scoring. Their last defeat with Van Der Vaart scoring came on January 5 2011 at Everton (2-1)"
    • 24' Modric with a quite sumptuous first-time pass off the outside of his boot for Parker. The Croatian looks in fine form this afternoon.
    • 23' Spurs fail to make anything of the corner, but they will be delighted with how much joy Bale is getting down his favoured left flank.
    • 22' Bale gets free again after Rangel produces a weak header. He hits the byline and pulls the ball back, only for Williams to clear behind from his own six-yard box.
    • 21' Swansea had enjoyed 60 per cent possession up to that point but Spurs converted with their first shot on target. Ruthless from the home side.
    • 19' It should be mentioned that the pass from Modric down the line to set Bale free was absolutely glorious. It opened up the pitch for Spurs.
    • 18' GOAL! Tottenham 1-0 Swansea! Van der Vaart with an emphatic first-time finish as he pounces on the ball after Ashley Williams pokes out a leg to Bale's cross and diverts it into the Dutchman's path.
    • 18' Danny Graham drifts out to the right to collect the ball and tries to find Sinclair with a cross. However, Brad Friedel cuts it out.
    • 17' Parker already looks exhausted, such is the effort he has put in so far.
    • 16' Lovely from Neil Taylor as he goes round the outside of William Gallas as he bursts into the box. He tries to pull a cross back and wins a corner off the Frenchman. Swansea take it short and it comes to nothing.
    • 15' It has been an energetic performance from Tottenham, who are trying to disrupt Swansea's passing rhythm and have been rather successful.
    • 14' Stat from Infostrada: "Tottenham are unbeaten in all three PL matches against promoted clubs this season. The only other teams without a defeat against them are Manchester United and Blackburn."
    • 12' Now Modric, of all people, leaps to meet a cross from the right but fails to steer his header on target. Spurs on top at the moment.
    • 11' Gareth Bale sprints clear on the left for the first time and after accelerating away from Britton whips in a low cross for Adebayor, who fails to get the necessary contact on the ball to divert it at goal.
    • 9' Van der Vaart is guilty of two very sloppy pieces of play around his own box and Swansea eventually play in Wayne Routledge, who drills a shot narrowly wide of the upright against his former side.
    • 8' A chance for Spurs! Luka Modric does superbly to run out to the left of the box and cut the ball back for Adebayor, who then touches the ball on to Rafael van der Vaart. The Dutchman caresses his shot wide of the far post first time though.
    • 7' Stat from Opta: "Redknapp’s side have scored the most goals in the opening 15 minutes of games this season (10)."
    • 5' Scott Parker produces a thumping challenge to win the ball back for Spurs in the middle of the pitch but Emmanuel Adebayor is forced to check back as the move loses momentum.
    • 4' Swansea construct a neat passing move down the right flank and Angel Rangel has a cross deflected behind for a corner.
    • 3' Swansea enjoying a healthy amount of possession so far, as you would expect from the Welsh tiki-taka merchants. A lovely team to watch.
    • 2' Kyle Walker catches Leon 'the Wandsworth Xavi' Britton with a late challenge. It wasn't a nasty one though.
    • 1' KICK OFF!
    • 15:55 Manager Harry Redknapp makes four changes as Tottenham looked to draw level with Arsenal by beating Swansea at White Hart Lane today. Younes Kaboul, William Gallas, Sandro and Brad Friedel return after missing Tuesday's FA Cup win over Bolton while Aaron Lennon is named among the substitutes following a three-week absence. Swansea make one alteration from the XI that lost to Everton with Garry Monk coming in for on-loan Steven Caulker, who was ineligible to play against his parent club.
    • 15:50 Tottenham star Gareth Bale would not blame boss Harry Redknapp if he jumped ship to take the England job. "We all want Harry to stay but he is a great manager and if England do come calling it's one of those lifetime opportunities that you just can't turn down," Bale told the Sun. "I wouldn't blame him for going, can you really? You never know if that opportunity will ever come around again." Full story
    • 15:45 Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers this week indicated any club looking to tempt him away from the Welsh club will have to pay because he has a buy-out clause in his contract. Rodgers has been linked with the Tottenham job, should Harry Redknapp leave to become England manager. "The only item that was in the contract was if a big club came in and wanted me, and the chairman and I felt it was right for us to move on, then I wanted the club to benefit from it." • 15:40 The bookies make Spurs clear favouries for today's clash, pricing it: Tottenham 2/5, Swansea 15/2, Draw 7/2.
    • 15:35 Spurs have won none of their last five Premier League games and have only once gone six without a victory since Harry Redknapp took over (December 2008 to January 2009). Do you fancy them to arrest that slump today? Post your comments...
    • 15:30 STAT: Tottenham have lost just one of their last 14 Premier League home games, winning 10 of the others. Premier League table
    • 15:25 THE TEAMS ARE IN! Tottenham: Friedel, Walker, Gallas, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto, Sandro, Parker, Modric, Van der Vaart, Adebayor, Bale. Subs: Cudicini, Lennon, Saha, Defoe, Rose, Livermore, Nelsen /// Swansea: Vorm, Rangel, Monk, Williams, Taylor, Routledge, Britton, Sigurdsson, Allen, Sinclair, Graham. Subs: Tremmel, Tate, Dyer, McEachran, Lita, Moore, Gower
    • 15:20 Harry Redknapp: "I don't know what his long-term plans are but certainly the job he has done at Swansea has just been amazing. He's someone who has a fantastic future. I remember speaking to Frank Lampard a few years ago when he was at Chelsea and he was telling me how good he was then. I just think it has been fantastic that a team can come up and play the way they have played, pass the ball as they do."
    • 15:15 Brendan Rodgers: "People need to fill pages in papers and they need discussion points. But my only focus is Swansea and Harry's only focus will be Tottenham and I just think it's disrespectful talking about him and the job he is in. He loves being at Tottenham and I know from talking to him when he was here in December that he enjoys being there. Likewise with myself, my only concentration and focus is on this job and trying to retain our status over the next eight games in this league."
    • 15:10 TEAM NEWS: Winger Aaron Lennon (hamstring) is expected to make his return from a three-week lay-off on Sunday. Ledley King (knee) may miss out after playing in Tuesday's win over Bolton. But long-term absentees Michael Dawson (ankle), goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes (knee) and midfielder Tom Huddlestone (ankle) are out.
    • 15:05 Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers has Nathan Dyer back from a three-match suspension and he will compete with Wayne Routledge for the right wing spot. Midfielder Andrea Orlandi has stepped up his recovery from a hamstring injury after featuring for the reserves on Thursday, but the visit to White Hart Lane comes too soon for him.
