    • - Don't forget you can watch highlights of this match, along with the weekend's other Premier League games, from 00:01 on Monday morning (UK only).
    • - Will City now go on to win the title? Have Wolves been punished for the failure to adequately replace McCarthy back in February? Let me know on Twitter. Follow Tom Adams on Twitter.
    • 90+3' FULL TIME. Wolves are relegated as City remain on course for the title thanks to goals from Aguero and Nasri.
    • 90+2' Yaya Toure goes close with a thunderous drive but the ball flies wide of the left-hand post.
    • 90+1' We will have two minutes of added time.
    • 90' We are just going through the motions here now. Wolves are heading for relegation and City remain on course for the title.
    • 88' Stat from Infostrada: "Wolverhampton Wanderers will be relegated today with this result. They are also on target to join Nottingham Forest (three times), Sunderland and Watford (twice each) as teams who have finished bottom of the Premier League on more than one occasion."
    • 86' Nasri replaced by Kolo Toure as City make their final change.
    • 85' Almost an own goal from Stearman as he intervenes with a header and forces De Vries into a save. From the corner, Lescott heads wide against his former side.
    • 83' Johnson plays in Aguero but the striker overelaborates and fails to get a clean shot away to kill the game off. Mancini not amused.
    • 81' Just to reiterate, Wolves will be relegated with a defeat while Manchester City will move to within three points of United ahead of the Manchester derby a week on Monday.
    • 79' Stat from Infostrada: "Samir Nasri scores his fifth Premier League goal for Manchester City and his first in over a month. All five of his PL goals for the club have been scored in the second half and City have won every match in which he has scored."
    • 78' Wolves, now surely destined for relegation, make a change as Fletcher is replaced by Ebanks-Blake.
    • 77' Johnson is immediately into the action as he takes a touch on the edge of the box before poking a shot through a crowd of players that forces De Vries into a sprawling save.
    • 76' Tevez comes off to be replaced by Adam Johnson as City make their second change.
    • 75' Christophe Berra replaces Bassong, who has suffered an injury at the back for Wolves.
    • 74' GOAL! Wolves 0-2 Manchester City! Nasri scores a vital second as City hit Wolves on the break from a corner. Tevez wins a free kick near the half-way line and takes it quickly, exchanging passes with Toure before then finding Nasri with a fine pass across the box. He steadies himself and then beats De Vries with a fine low effort.
    • 72' Now Aguero tries to latch onto a long ball over the top but the striker only just fails to touch the ball away from De Vries.
    • 71' Karl Henry makes a mistake as he slips but Tevez can't punish Wolves as the midfielder recovers and blocks the shot from the City striker.
    • 69' Barry plays in Toure down the right with a good pass but Stearman intercepts the midfielder's cross to prevent City from claiming a second. Good defending.
    • 67' A poor effort from Kightly as he cuts back onto his left foot and then sends his shot high into the stands at Molineux.
    • 66' If City don't win this game then Mancini's decision to remove Silva will surely be scrutinised. He has shed a reputation for safety first after constantly making substitutions like that last season, but Silva looked perplexed and many City fans probably felt the same.
    • 65' City have had 52 per cent possession in this second half, but the chances have dried up for them and Wolves may now fancy themselves to get a goal back.
    • 63' Tevez does well to make space in the box and fire in a dangerous cross but it goes behind for a corner. De Vries then punches clear.
    • 61' Wolves make their own change with Kevin Doyle coming on for Edwards, an attacking move that in conjunction with the removal of Silva changes the complexion of this match.
    • 59' Here is the change and it is Silva who is replaced by De Jong. He looks distinctly unimpressed by the decision.
    • 58' Wolves start to apply more pressure but a corner goes wasted. City are readying Nigel de Jong on the sidelines in response.
    • 57' Wolves go close! City fail to deal with a long ball forward and Fletcher beats Toure to the ball as it falls from the air, his header forcing Hart into a smart save as he turns the ball round the post.
    • 56' Toure slides in on Kightly to bring the Wolves winger down and earn a booking.
    • 55' Aguero wants a free kick when being wrestled to ground by Bassong as the ball drops from the air but there wasn't enough in it.
    • 54' The ball works its way to Tevez again 20 yards from goal and his firm drive is blocked by Edwards as Wolves stand firm again.
    • 53' Tevez tries to latch onto a deflected cross from Nasri but Davis touches the ball away from the striker in a clever intervention.
    • 51' Stat from Infostrada: "Manchester City led a Premier League away match at the break for only the seventh time this season. They won at Bolton, Tottenham, Manchester United, Wigan and Norwich from this position but drew at Fulham."
    • 50' Jarvis accelerates away from Zabaleta and into the box but City shut him out and when he drifts back out wide, Zabaleta wins the ball from him the second time.
    • 48' Edwards spots a loose ball in midfield and touches it away from Tevez, only to be brought to ground and win a free kick.
    • 47' Jarvis turns sharply in midfield and threatens to drive into the box but his run is slowed as City deal with the danger.
    • 46' KICK OFF!
    • - Wolves are being relegated as things stand while City are on course to lift the title. Will things change in the second half? Let me know on Twitter. Follow Tom Adams on Twitter!
    • 45+1' HALF TIME. Aguero's goal has City in front after a dominant yet slightly wasteful first-half performance.
    • 45' We will have one minute of added time in the first half.
    • 44' Wolves have actually enjoyed 52 per cent possession so far but all the chances have fallen to City in this first half. They will probably feel as though their lead should be bigger than one goal.
    • 43' Now Fletcher is down clutching his head by the right touchline. He is fine to continue though. Wolves are in the wars today.
    • 42' Toure and Davis are involved in a bit of a coming together and the young Wolves midfielder winces as he clutches the side of his head. There was nothing in it though.
    • 41' Stat from Opta: "Only two of the last 24 league meetings between Wolves and Man City have ended in draws."
    • 39' Nasri whips in a dangerous cross from the right but no one in a City shirt shows the inclination to get on the end of it.
    • 38' Wolves' good start dissipated rapidly and City are now in firm control of this tie. The front three of Silva, Aguero and Tevez has been too much for the home side.
    • 36' Stat from Infostrada: "That is the eighth time this season that Sergio Aguero has scored the opening goal in a Premier League match. Robin van Persie is the only player who has done this more frequently (9)."
    • 35' Kightly supplies a deep cross from the right and Fletcher is free at the back post. However, the Scot is unable to get on the end of the ball as it flies out of play.
    • 34' Tevez gets a shot away following a nice move from City that took them into the heart of the Wolves box, but his finish is too close to De Vries.
    • 32' Clichy delivers another teasing cross from the left, this time for Nasri, but play is brought back when Kightly fouls the left-back.
    • 30' Aguero is caught offside this time when trying to collect another pass but the Argentina international has been a constant menace at Molineux. Wolves haven't been able to cope with him.
    • 28' Aguero now has 22 goals in 31 games in his debut Premier League season. A very good haul.
    • 27' GOAL! Wolves 0-1 Manchester City! Aguero finally gets a goal after a succession of chances. Clichy skips away from Kightly and delivers an absolutely brilliant bending pass to find Aguero, who takes a touch before stabbing the ball past De Vries.
    • 27' Stat from Opta: "There have been four penalties awarded in six PL meetings between Wolves and Man City, all of them to the away side."
    • 25' Hart is almost caught out by a dangerous cross from Jarvis on the left wing but eventually the England keeper sees it over the bar and onto the roof of the net.
    • 24' Tevez pulls down a ball in the right channel, advances 10 or 15 yards and then attempts a rather ambitious low drive that De Vries drops down to smother.
    • 23' Vincent Kompany slips as a cross arrives from the right but luckily Joleon Lescott is on hand to clean up for his defensive partner.
    • 22' Stat from Opta: "Matt Jarvis has attempted more open play crosses than any other player this term (195)."
    • 20' Now Silva and Tevez combine to find Aguero, who makes space with a quick touch on the edge of the box and then drills a shot wide of the post. City are a enjoying a succession of chances but they are yet to hit the target.
    • 19' Wolves have a lucky escape. Stearman gets in a muddle when dealing with a high ball and his attempted header back to De Vries only drops into the path of Aguero. He attempts to finish first time with the outside of his boot and the ball rolls wide. He probably had time to take a touch with De Vries exposed.
    • 18' Gareth Barry gets a rare sight of goal after Tevez and Aguero both fail to get a clean shot away but he fires well, well wide from 25 yards.
    • 16' So unlucky! City construct a glorious passing move as Zabaleta and Silva combine, with the former then playing in Nasri with a gorgeous through-ball. However, like Aguero before him, the Frenchman drags his shot just wide of the far post.
    • 15' Good skills from Terry Connor on the touchline as he controls the ball. Shame some of his players haven't been able to demonstrate that level of ability in recent games.
    • 14' Stat from Opta: "Wolves are the only Premier League team yet to score in the opening 15 minutes this season."
    • 13' City fail to deal properly with the corner and the ball eventually finds Stearman, who chests to control before firing well over the bar with an overhead kick.
    • 12' What a chance! Hart produces a stunning save to tip a vicious effort from David Davis round the post. Steven Fletcher had laid the ball off to the midfielder.
    • 11' City suddenly have a three-versus-two break but lose momentum when a pass to Tevez on the right is overhit. That gives Wolves the chance to regroup and clear.
    • 10' Wolves continue to impress and win another corner, this time off Clichy. It has been a good start for the home side, who must win to avoid relegation of course. City clear from the corner though.
    • 9' Terry Connor is being very vocal on the touchline - a contrast to his far more restrained and rather shy demeanour in front of the cameras.
    • 8' Mancini's reaction was to hurl an object to the floor in frustration. He is already feeling the pressure it seems.
    • 7' So close from Aguero! The striker again causes problems to the left of the box as he collects a ball over the top from Clichy and makes a dart towards the line before firing just wide of the far post.
    • 5' Sergio Aguero almost gets free down the left channel but Richard Stearman is dogged in his pursuit and puts the ball out for a City corner.
    • 4' Stat from Infostrada: "Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero start together for the fourth time in the Premier League. City have won all three of the previous occasions, scoring 13 goals with the two Argentines netting 11 of those 13 goals."
    • 3' Joe Hart almost gets caught out from a cross from the left as Wolves press forward again. A decent start from the home side, against all expectation.
    • 2' Wolves respond though and Michael Kightly storms forward to win a corner. Gael Clichy heads out from the set-piece but the ball bounces out to Basssong and his shot takes a deflection before flying just wide. City clear from the next corner.
    • 1' A chance for City within 16 seconds. Pablo Zabaleta slips a pass forward to Carlos Tevez, who holds off his marker, advances forward and rifles an effort a yard over the bar.
    • 1' KICK OFF!
    • 15:55 So, can City really do it? Can they win the title after all? And is there any chance Wolves will still be a Premier League team come 6pm? Let me know what you think on Twitter now. Follow Tom Adams on Twitter
    • 15:50 For Wolves, this season is petering out to almost certain relegation. Since McCarthy's departure, a 2-draw against Newcastle aside, they haven't looked anything like top-flight quality and Connor has been unable to lift the team at all. Today should confirm their return to the second tier.
    • 15:45 City's players have been given the perfect morale boost with Everton scoring twice late on and they absolutely must win here. If they don't, then they don't deserve to get anywhere near winning a title. They will have to ensure their minds aren't already drifting to the Manchester derby on Monday though.
    • 15:40 Roberto Mancini, suddenly handed an unlikely chance to win the title again, claimed in the week that Manchester United have benefitted from some generous refereeing decisions this season. City's own away form had been poor though until that hammering of Norwich last time out. Mancini: Different rules for different clubs
    • 15:35 Wolves have secured just two points in eight games since Terry Connor replaced Mick McCarthy as manager in February and nothing but the most unlikely of wins will prevent them from ending their three-year stay in the Premier League. They have lost their past eight home games which is approaching the Premier League record of 10 set by Sunderland, and have conceded in their past 16, with the record set at 17.
    • 15:30 City make one change from the side that defeated Norwich 6-1 as Yaya Toure comes in for Nigel de Jong. Wolves make four changes with Dorus De Vries in for the injured Wayne Hennessey in goal and Sebastien Bassong, David Edwards and Matt Jarvis replacing Christophe Berra, Anthony Forde and Sylban Ebanks-Blake.
    • 15:25 TEAMS: Wolves: De Vries, Foley, Stearman, Bassong, Ward, Kightly, Henry, Davis, Edwards, Jarvis, Doyle. Subs: Ikeme, Johnson, Berra, Zubar, Milijas, Doyle, Ebanks-Blake. /// Manchester City: Hart, Kompany, Lescott, Zabaleta, Clichy, Y. Toure, Barry, Silva, Nasri, Tevez, Aguero. Subs: Pantilimon, Kolarov, K. Toure, De Jong, Milner, Johnson. Dzeko.
    • 15:20 Just to reiterate, Manchester United's remarkable 4-4 draw with Everton means City are six points behind at present. If they win their game in hand now, then that narrows to three ahead of next Monday's Manchester derby, when City will go top on goal difference if they triumph. Premier League table
    • 15:15 Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Premier League tie between Wolves and Manchester City at Molineux. Wolves are relegated with anything but a win, while City know after United's 4-4 draw with Everton that they take the title if they win their final four games of the season.
