    • - Don't forget you can watch highlights of this match, along with every Premier League game, from 00:01 on Monday morning (UK only).
    • 90+5 That's it! The final whistle has gone! Chelsea beat Arsenal to stay unbeaten. They will be top on Sunday, whatever happens. Arsenal lose their first match this season.
    • 90+4 Torres joins Hazard for the short, time-wasting option but Arsenal win it back. Torres chases down to put it out for a throw.
    • 90+3 Superb run by Bertrand down the left, eventually Hazard has a pop and his shot is deflected wide for a corner which Chelsea will happily use to run down the clock.
    • 90+2 Ramires catches Cazorla late after he had played the ball, a booking for the Brazilian.
    • 90+1 BIG MISS GIROUD! Obviously. Lovely through ball from Cazorla to send him through, but he took one touch too many, taking it a shade wide and thrashing his finish into the side netting. You just fear he isn't good enough.
    • 90' The official man of the match is Ramires, but I think Mata has had a fine game.
    • 89' Four minutes of stoppage time will be played.
    • 88' Gervinho with a nice lay-off to Cazorla on the edge of the box but, leaning back, he fires high and wide. Not far off but he should have done better!
    • 87' Jenkinson loves to switch inside on to his left the out again and once more it causes problems, but Cahill blocks it and the ball rolls back to Cech.
    • 86' Torres with a nice ball in for Moses who takes it on the bounce but clips the half-volley just over. Nice idea from the Nigerian.
    • 85' Gervinho is again caught offside as he spins on to Arteta's ball wide left, needless from him.
    • 84' CHELSEA SUB: Bertrand is on for Mata as Chelsea look to ride out this Arsenal pressure.
    • 83' OFF THE BAR! Giroud I think with the flick from Arteta's free-kick! Koscielny drills in a low effort that is blocked but the flag then goes up as Gervinho was offside.
    • 82' Arsenal are back in possession as Jenkinson flings in another fine cross which stretching players from both sides fail to touch. Now Ramires takes out Arteta on the Arsenal left and another free-kick in a dangerous position!
    • 81' Ow. Giroud blocked that but, in doing so, headbutted his pal Koscielny. He needs looking at. Meanwhile, Cahill takes Luiz's place.
    • 80' Mata and Luiz over this one, surely Mata this time? Yes, Luiz trots off... Into the wall from Mata.
    • 79' Lovely play by Torres and Mata, a cool one-two and Mata is clipped by a clumsy lunge from Gibbs. Free-kick on the edge of the box, this could seal it for Chelsea...
    • 78' A wild shot from Gibbs flies high and wide. Needless at this stage.
    • 77' Wenger is prowling the touchline with a grave look of concern etched on his face. Arsenal do have the ball back though as an Ox cross is headed out for a throw by Terry.
    • 76' Chelsea will happily keep it deep in Arsenal’s half, as Hazard wins a corner off Jenkinson. The Belgian will take it but the referee urges him to be quicker – so he takes a short one. Terry rises for a header that lands for Moses but he heads well over.
    • 75' Chelsea have a throw on the left and Cole takes his time with it. He gets the ball back and, amidst the boos, pulls off a neat drag back.
    • 74' ... Initially headed clear but Torres loses control of it and Cole hacks to touch. Arsenal piling it on now!
    • 74' CHELSEA SUB: Moses on for Oscar, who looks knackered. Arsenal corner meanwhile...
    • 73' ALMOST A GOAL FOR ARSENAL! Giroud on the left side of the box drilled a low shot that took a massive deflection off Luiz, Cech going the wrong way but getting a huge hand on the ball to touch it wide! Corner.
    • 72' Fine low cross from Arteta but Giroud fails to get a touch and Chelsea clear. Indeed, they counter as Torres and Oscar get in the box but Arsenal clear. Phew.
    • 71' Walcott with a drive from range but Terry blocks it. Arsenal attacking wave after wave...
    • 70' A mazy run from Cazorla but he overplays it a touch, should have shot or passed before he drifted across the box and wide. Arsenal come again though!
    • 69' Ramires in a lot of space on the right, he cuts it back to Torres who floats a nice cross in but there’s more red than blue and Arsenal clear. Now Luiz releases Torres again, he takes on Gibbs and goes down but no foul!
    • 68' Arteta pulling the strings to release Gervinho wide left but he overhits the cross. I know he scored but I’d have taken Gervinho off, certainly not put him wide left in place of Poldi.
    • 67' ARSENAL DOUBLE SUB: Ramsey does make way for Walcott, but it’s Podolski who leaves the fray for Giroud. Chelsea, meanwhile, clear that corner.
    • 66' Jenkinson wide right again, feeding Chamberlain but his low ball is poor. Arsenal have it back though as Cazorla releases Gibbs, super fizzing cross that Luiz knocks behind for a corner that could have been an own-goal!
    • 65' Walcott and Giroud are getting ready – I reckon Gervinho has faded somewhat so can see him and Ramsey coming off.
    • 64' A Chelsea counter attack catches Arsenal cold but too many cooks spoil the visiting broth as they overplay it, Arsenal style, with Oscar’s weak shot deflected into Mannone’s arms.
    • 63' Chelsea clear the free-kick but the Torres counter stalls; Gervinho is offside as Arsenal bomb forward and it’s a bit stop-start at the moment.
    • 62' Arteta slides a ball in for Jenkinson, who is tripped by Cole just on the right-hand edge of the box! Free-kick Arsenal in a very dangerous position.
    • 61' Jenkinson picks out Ramsey with a nice ball but his pass is poor. Arteta gets it back though and here come Arsenal again... given away, won back, and given away again.
    • 60' Oscar wins a free-kick on the Chelsea left wing. Right footer so Hazard to take... headed clear by the Gunners defence.
    • 59' Ramsey overhits a crossfield pass but it’s a Chelsea throw deep in their own half, a chance to win back possession which Gervinho takes – and a superb save from Cech as Podolski flies in with a header!
    • 58' Fine tackle from Gibbs on Torres, who stays down. No foul, until Podolski is clipped by a Chelsea player.
    • 57' Gibbs is caught offside as an Arsenal passing move comes to nothing. A defeat would be harsh on the Gunners but would be entirely their own fault.
    • 56' Torres does a good job filling in at left back but his clearance just goes back to Arsenal as there was no-one up front.
    • 55' Deary me - I predicted a 2-2 with Koscielny and Podolski scoring, so it could still be on the cards! Arsenal coming again as Chelsea get everyone behind the ball. Bus-parking comes naturally to these lads.
    • 54' One of those freak goals it seems – no-one got a touch and the dip on the ball sent it bottom-left with Mannone scrambling. Koscielny was sliding in and it touched his shin en route past the keeper. Was going in anyway, no way Mannone was saving that, he dived too late.
    • 53' GOAL CHELSEA! Own goal from Koscielny, who is having a shocker today, although it could be Mata's. Mata's free-kick was well whipped in again and everyone missed it - the Arsenal defender getting the final touch. It looked like it was going in anyway. Let's see who they give that to...
    • 52' Torres latched on to a loose ball from Arteta, Vermaelen takes him out and that will be a booking.
    • 51' Gervinho latches on to a loose ball, but he has no support. Eventually it comes and he picks out Jenkinson, whose cross is blocked. Arsenal come again though, with Ivanovic taking out Cazorla.
    • 50' SLICED WIDE BY CAZORLA! Fantastic run from Podolski on to Gibbs's pass down the left, a fine low cross that Luiz hacks away but only into the path of Cazorla, who hits it first time but gets it all wrong.
    • 49' Meanwhile Cech has hurt himself mis-kicking a clearance. Thigh it seems. Let's see how he fares with that.
    • 49' Mikel gets the better of Ramsey in a tussle down the Arsenal left. Poor throw by Ivanovic, Gervinho picks it up and releases Chamberlain who scuffs a shot well wide. That was a hospital throw by Ivan, across the face of his own goal.
    • 48' Mata swings it in, Terry rises but Arsenal clear. Now Luiz is booked for simulation after he overhit the ball past Gervinho. No idea why he's complaining, it was s rotten dive,
    • 47' Good positioning from Luiz as Gibbs released Podolski down the left. Bright start to the half for Arsenal, who then concede a corner as Torres chases Koscielny down.
    • 46' The second half is underway.
    • 45+4 Half-time and it's 1-1, just about the right scoreline so far. Torres and Gervinho on target, two fine finishes.
    • 45+3 Some nice build-up play by Chelsea, now Torres turns inside but he drills a low shot into the side netting. Lovely skills from Oscar in that.
    • 45+2 Hazard loses out to the Ox, who takes the throw quickly only for Cole to muscle Gervinho off the ball. Now Hazard has it wide left only for Mata to be slide-tackled by Jenkinson.
    • 45+1 Oscar goes on a solo run and drills a low shot just wide. He wants a corner and it should have been one - the shot clipped Vermaelen.
    • 45+1 Some respite for Chelsea as Arsenal give away a free-kick. Three minutes added time.
    • 45' The Ox looks wide to Jenkinson on the overlap, and another dangerous low ball from him that is just about poked clear by Ivanovic. Now Podolski races away but his pull-back is hacked clear.
    • 45' Arsenal are going for it now but Ramsey trips Oscar in the Chelsea box and it's a free-kick for Cech to take short.
    • 44' And just as I say that a fantastic run again down the right from Jenkinson yields a corner as his driven low cross is knocked behind with Gervinho lurking.
    • 43' It was a nice move started by Jenkinson, who I was about to semi-jokingly hail as the new Maicon for his bounding runs forward.
    • 42' GOAL ARSENAL! 1-1 AND IT'S GERVINHO! A fantastic turn and finish into the top right from Oxlade-Chamberlain's low ball.
    • 41' "We know what we are, we know what we are - Champions of Europe, we know what we are" - a neat response from Chelsea's fans. All pretty good-natured thus far.
    • 40' Great run and ball by Jenkinson to release Cazorla, he runs into a sea of blue but finds Arteta, he gives it back to the former Malaga midfielder whose shot is blocked. Ramsey is down hurt - in the build-up to all that he was caught by Torres, who was lucky not to get carded for that.
    • 39' Oscar hacks down Arteta and this time he will be booked for cumulative fouling.
    • - Our friends from Infostrada have this stat: "Fernado Torres has now 150 goals in #EPL and La Liga combined and he has scored them as follows: PL 75 - 75 La Liga."
    • 38' Mikel is not known for his scoring and he shoots well over to end that promising spell for the Blues.
    • 37' A long ball from Luiz almost sets Torres away but Mannone comes out to claim. Cazorla stops running as he tangles with Cole but play to the whistle is the tradition and Chelsea break. Now a superb piece of skill from Hazard as he rides a challenge from Gibbs but his cross is headed clear.
    • 36' Given away by Chelsea as Ramires and Oscar leave it for each other. Now Oscar fouls Arteta, Arsenal want a booking but it was a minor clip as Atkinson tells them.
    • 35' Luiz misses the ball from that corner but Ivanovic clears. Jenkinson whips in a cross but Cech gathers before spooning his clearance barely past halfway. Now Ramsey fouls Oscar late and he will be booked.
    • 34' A quick free-kick sees Gervinho released wide left but this time Oscar does the right thing in tracking him. Corner.
    • 33' Gibbs and Podolski combine and a free-kick is given as Oscar pulls the full-back's shirt.
    • 32' This match has been played at a frantic pace but we have its first lull as both sides elect to play it cagily around the back before launching long balls.
    • 31' Oscar loses sight of where he is on the pitch, Arteta robbing him before releasing Jenkinson, who does well well against Cole to launch an attack. Unfortunately Vermaelen takes it upon himself to burst forward and thrash a terrible shot high over the bar.
    • 30' Jenkinson moves forward but Gervinho can't control his fizzing low ball. Chelsea play it around the back as they seek to counter, with Ramires released but tackled well by Gibbs.
    • 29' Torres has the ball in the back of the net with a rasping finish that Mannone fumbles, but he was half a yard offside when Mata threaded him through.
    • 28' Arteta will take this, swinging the free-kick in from centre-right, but Luiz powers a header to touch. Wonderful cross by Podolski that flies to Gervinho far post but his header across goal is coolly chested back to Cech by Terry!
    • 27' Gervinho turns Luiz, who hauls him down cynically and will be spoken to by Atkinson.
    • 26' Ramires eases Ramsey off the ball as Cazorla played him in. Now Chelsea break with Luiz bombing down the left but Arsenal survive.
    • 25' In the end it's a free-kick to Chelsea as Luiz was fouled by Koscienly. Breakneck pace this game is now.
    • 24' Cazorla on the right but his cross is blocked for a corner, which is swung out of play and back in as Cech gathers. Luiz is down hurt now.
    • 23' Mistake from Koscielny and Torres is clean through! He must score but he makes a pig's ear of it, electing to try and round Mannone, miscontrolling and then going down as he kicked air! Torres thinks it's a foul but if anything he kicked Koscielny as he was swinging for the finish. He was already off balance.
    • 22' Chelsea have a corner straight after kick-off but Arsenal clear. They counter too as Jenkinson puts in a lovely cross but flicked away by Luiz as Podolski was set to score! Arsenal also wanted a penalty as Cazorla went down under a challenge from Mikel but there was nothing in that.
    • 21' Poor marking from Arsenal in the sense that both Luiz and Terry could have headed that ball in, unmarked as they failed to make contact - in the end Torres should have been dealt with by Koscielny but somehow arched his leg around the Frenchman to flick it home. People whinged about Arsenal's zonal marking last week, but that was a failure of man-to-man.
    • 20' GOAL CHELSEA! 1-0! TORRES! Mata swings in a fantastic free-kick, beautiful dipping ball to the far post and Torres sneaks in with a lovely flick outside his marker Koscielny! Lovely finish!
    • 19' Torres flicks it back to Hazard, Vermaelen then taking his fellow Belgian out. Free-kick Chelsea, no card but a word from the ref. Mata will take, 35 yards a touch to the right...
    • 19' Lovely first touch by Cazorla, now Podolski stretches the play for Gervinho. He finds the Ox, who drills a cross in but Luiz gets there first.
    • 18' Gervinho runs into Cole on he edge of the box but no foul. The Ivorian had skinned Terry before overhitting it and running into the England left-back. Good decision.
    • 18' ARSENAL SUB: Diaby comes off for Oxlade-Chamberlain. Poor Diaby.
    • 17' Ivanovic bombs down the right, he has plenty of space but the cross is poor. Arsenal counter through Ramsey but Cole is a quick one and gets goal-side of him. Ramsey then wins a free-kick.
    • 16' Arteta brings it clear after Torres hits the deck claiming a foul off the ball. Nope. Oxlade-Chamberlain is warming up, I think Diaby has picked up a knock. Nooo, por Diaby.
    • 15' Gervinho puts Terry under pressure but he manages to play it back to Cech. However, Cole gives it away and Ramsey is in down the right - a very poor cross though, Gervinho was waiting for it but Terry was able to clear.
    • 14' This is more like what we know from Arsenal as they keep possession well. However, Arteta commits anothe foul and Chelsea can slow it down again.
    • 13' Arteta shows the other side to his game with a fine tackle on Oscar. Mannone shows good composure with his feet to field and clear a back pass. All very congested in midfield as Chelsea double-up on Cazorla. A slick passing move sees the Spaniard get in space though but Podolski's cross is headed clear.
    • 12' The reborn Diaby surges forward and has a pop from distance, on target this time but straight down Cech's throat.
    • 11' A scrappy spell in the middle ends when Oscar's heavy touch allows Vermaelen to challenge and clear.
    • 10' A poor through-ball by Ramsey is brought clear by Ramires but Cazorla gets hold of it. He releases Gervinho, but his cross is blocked. It's back with the Ivorian, who cuts it back nicely for Cazorla, but he gets his shot wrong, high and wide.
    • 9' Gibbs wide left tries a dipping cross aimed for Gervinho but it's hooked clear by Ivanovic.
    • 8' Cole dispossesses Ramsey. Now Oscar and Hazard on it but Torres runs into Koscielny and Arsenal clear. Cole is snapping at Ramsey's heels again but Arsenal are able to bring it away. Lots of pressing off the ball from Chelsea and as a result they have more posession.
    • 7' Oscar with a nice first-time ball wide to an overlapping Mata but his cross is overhit for the late-arriving Cole.
    • 6' A long ball aimed for Torres is well fielded by Koscielny and then Mannone. Chelsea with the better possession thus far in this opening stages.
    • 5' Gibbs intercepts a loose Mata pass, taking on and beating Mikel and launching an Arsenal attack, their first of note. Terry is booed again as he hacks it to touch. Jenkinson takes the throw short, Arsenal now looking to get some touches on the ball before Ramsey blasts a shot well wide.
    • 4' Torres on the right, a flashing low ball across the face of ball but no-one gambled on it and Mannone watches it go wide. Hazard was closest but he was five yards shy.
    • 3' Poor from Luiz. He shot, straight at Mannone in the end, when some sort of delivery would have been more useful from that range.
    • 2' "You know what you are" they sing at Terry. But Chelsea have a free-kick 35 yards out. Will the last laugh be with them?
    • 1' The first half is underway as Arsenal kick off and Ramires mis-kicks to touch. Arteta trips Hazard, free-kick Chelsea. Torres holds the ball up and Chelsea look to keep possession. Heavy boos as John Terry gets his first touch. And Cole. And Terry again. Boo! Hiss! He's behind you etc.
    • 12:43 The teams are out in the London sunshine, everyone looks bright and cheery today. Key man for me is Cazorla - Arsenal will look to him to unlock Chelsea's defence.
    • 12:42 Nice stat from @OptaJoe on Twitter: "91% - Vito Mannone (91%) is the only goalkeeper to have a better saves to shots ratio in the PL this season than Petr Cech (88%). Stoppers."
    • 12:41 Referee today is Martin Atkinson. He's been a tiny bit card happy this season, showing 16 yellow cards in four matches so far including six in Swansea's 3-0 win over West Ham. No reds mind.
    • 12:40 MATCH ODDS: Arsenal (5/4) Chelsea (13/5) Draw (32/13)
    • 12:35 Late predos before kick-off... @Josh_JS12: "Predicting 3-1 to arsenal..."; @NickHBP: "#AFC should boss the midfield but #CFC could be deadly in attack with 3 #10's. Shaping to be a terrific game!"; @WhyalwaysYk: "I'm going for a 1-1 draw , with ivanovic and Vaermaleen in the scoresheet" FOLLOW ON TWITTER!
    • 12:30 FACTS: Chelsea and Arsenal are the only teams in the Premier League yet to concede a second-half goal this season; The Blues have kept four clean sheets in the Premier League this season, more than any other side; The Gunners are unbeaten in their last nine Premier League games but have drawn six of those.
    • 12:25 FACT: Theo Walcott has scored in two of his last three Premier League starts against Chelsea, but he doesn't start today as he continues to pay the price for his failure to sign a contract (that is opinion, not fact).
    • 12:20 FACT: This is Chelsea's first match against Arsenal in the post-Drogba era. In the 33 previous Premier League matches between these two, Chelsea only lost one from 10 with Drogba in the side, but they failed to win a game without him in it. Wow. With Drog: W7 D3 L1; Without Drog: W0 D9 L13.
    • 12:15 I'm not a huge predictor of results, but I'm putting a limb out here and saying 2-2 (Podolski, Koscielny; Oscar, Torres). So there. Have your say @Reda_Eurosport. FOLLOW ON TWITTER!
    • 12:10 Some of your predos coming in - @TheJoeSwaya: " I dont thinka false 9 will work against chelsea especially if it is gervinho! Im going for close chelsea win or draw"; @ahmaddana1: "my prediction Chelsea 2-1 what's yours?"; ill go for a narrow gunners win. • 12:05 Chelsea, meanwhile, start with Terry as expected, while Frank Lampard is on the bench with the likes of Cahill, Azpilicueta and Moses. Torres leads the line with Mata, Hazard and Oscar in support. Tasty. Daniel Sturridge is out injured.
    • 12:05 No surprises at all for Arsenal as Vermaelen returns from illness, with Jenkinson continuing in the absence of Sagna, who is back training after recovering from a leg injury. Tomas Rosicky (hamstring) and Jack Wilshere (ankle) will also be back for the reserves on Monday, but Szczesny (ankle) remains sidelined so Mannone continues in goal. Giroud drops to the bench as Gervinho and Podolski form a more orthodox strike pairing.
    • 12:05 TEAMS - Arsenal: Mannone, Jenkinson, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Arteta, Diaby, Cazorla, Ramsey, Gervinho, Podolski; Subs: Martinez, Mertesacker, Santos, Djourou, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott, Giroud /// Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole, Ramires, Mikel, Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Torres; Subs: Turnbull, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Bertrand, Romeu, Lampard, Moses
    • 12:00 If you want to interact with me, your commentator, before the match, you can do so on Twitter on @Reda_Eurosport. I won't respond to anything about John Terry though, I think anything anyone's needed to say about him has been said. • 11:55 Roberto Di Matteo (Chelsea) on John Terry: "He’s a professional player, he’s a senior player as well. He’s got all the experience in the world to be able to deal with a big game. He likes to focus on the football and that’s all I have to be concerned about. He’s a professional and that’s how he behaves when he’s here with us. His application is very good every day and he tries his hardest when he plays.”
    • 11:55 Arsene Wenger (Arsenal): "If we do well at home against the strong teams, it will of course have a big impact on our chances in the league. We have played one [big team] where we got some belief, against Manchester City away. Saturday it is another one, but it is a different one because we are at home."
    • 11:50 The main talking point today is that John Terry, Chelsea's captain and leader, will start despite having been banned for four matches by the FA for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand. Why can he play? He is allowed to feature until next week's appeal deadline. Expect a 'fruity' reception for JT from Arsenal fans.
