    • 90+4' FULL TIME: Arsenal show character to come back, and City draw again. An entertaining game of football and both sides will feel they had the chances to win it. Thanks for joining me for it.
    • 90+3' Toure picked up for a foul throw and Arsenal have the ball for the last few seconds of the match.
    • 90+2' Chance for Arsenal here as Javi Garcia booked for a cynical challenge on Jenkinson as Arsenal burst forward.
    • 90+1' Three added minutes to play - meanwhile Gervinho comes off, with Coquelin replacing him.
    • 90' GERVINHO! He did all the hard work, finding the space, and freeing himself for a shot on goal - but his shot from the edge of the box is a stinker. Well over the bar. If he could finish he'd be a terrific striker. It hasn't happened today.
    • 89' Arsenal ending the match as they begun it - stroking the ball around with confidence and patience.
    • 88' Superb touch from Koscielny to flick his way past Tevez and get Arsenal on the move. Terrific stuff.
    • 87' Walcott and Giroud combine, only for Walcott to past the ball into empty space. Niether side settling for a draw - there's still all to play for.
    • 86' Laurent Koscielny scored in his last Premier League match as well - against West Brom at the end of last season.
    • 85' City make their final change - Balotelli on for Aguero.
    • 84' AGUERO SHOULD SCORE! It was made by Kompany, who went close with an overhead kick which Mannone saved - Koscielny knocked it to Aguero on the rebound and should have struck, but it went just wide.
    • 83' Arsenal overturned a deficit to win at Manchester City only once before in the Premier League, the 2-1 win at the Etihad Stadium in August 2003, when goals from Sylvain Wiltord and Freddie Ljungberg overturned Lauren's 10th-minute own goal. (Infostrada)
    • 82' GOAL! ARSENAL LEVEL! KOSCIELNY SCORES! It was a terrific finish as the ball broke to him from the corner and he drilled into the roof of the net. No messing around from the Frenchman, and Arsenal deserve that leveller on the whole.
    • 82' CAZORLA CLOSE! Terrific shot from just outside the box - Hart parries it, but only just over the bar. Corner.
    • 81' Silva tries a killer pace with the outside of the boot but Mertesacker cuts it off. Pressure building from the home side.
    • 80' AGUERO CLOSE! City breaking at pace, with Toure charging through empty space in the middle. He has Aguero to his right and Tevez to his left - picks Aguero but perhaps too late as the Argentine has to snatch at his shot and sees it tipped around the post for a corner.
    • 79' High cross with plenty of curl from deep on the right by Walcott, but it's just too far for Gervinho. Out for a throw by the corner flag.
    • 78' Toure can break - Koscielny is out of position but does superbly to catch Tevez and rob him of possession.
    • 77' Walcott tries to burst through the middle but falls to the ground in the D of the penalty area. No free kick.
    • 76' There is a degree of nervousness around the Etihad - the home crowd don't seem to believe the game is won yet. But there are spaces emerging for them to attack.
    • 75' Toure caught in possession by Ramsey, and he very nearly makes the Ivorian pay for it with a quick ball through to Cazorla. Not quite, but Arsenal pushing here.
    • 74' Giroud wins a corner - Javi Garcia blocks his effort at the far post.
    • 73' Giroud yet to score for Arsenal - would be a hell of a time to get your first goal.
    • 72' Toure floats a pass towards Tevez and he's very close to getting on the end of it. Tevez looks a real handful at the moment.
    • 71' Arsenal make a double change - Diaby and Podolski off - Walcott and Giroud on.
    • 70' Ramsey clatters into Gervinho and then Zabaleta, and winces with pain as he does so.
    • 70' Another pearl of wisdom from Infostrada - Carlos Tevez has never scored against Arsenal in nine previous Premier League appearances. The only other team he had made nine Premier League appearances against and not scored is Everton.
    • 69' Arsenal have lost four out of their last five matches at the Etihad Stadium in all competitions. (Infostrada)
    • 68' Yes - here it is - Dzeko off, Tevez on. Not a bad sub to have at your disposal - and it pairs first-choice strikers Aguero and Tevez together.
    • 67' Looks like City are preparing their second switch of the match....
    • 66' GERVINHO! Should have done better again! Getting into the right spaces, drifting clear on the right, but his shot at the near post flashes over the bar.
    • 65' Scratchy, but Arsenal not letting the ball go dead in the City penalty area. Desperate lunges from Gervinho and Podolski before CIty clear.
    • 64' Clichy finds Aguero with a ball whipped forward from deep, but despite a good run, the Argentine cannot control it and it runs out for a goal kick.
    • 63' Cazorla picks out Gervinho with a quite brilliant pass. Gervinho shepherded out of play by Zabaleta. Cazorla still the outstanding player on the field at present.
    • 62' Tevez not sheltering from the rain any longer - he's out warming up on the touchline.
    • 61' Cazorla whips the ball across to Gibbs - City happy to let Arsenal work this far out from goal.
    • 60' City have yet to keep a clean sheet this season - that will give the Gunners some hope they can get back on terms. Jenkinson skins past Dzeko in no small amount of style.
    • 59' Arsenal trying to probe now, with Cazorla trying a cross from the left that goes beyond everyone and runs out for a throw deep in the City half.
    • 58' Poor pass from Koscielny almost gifts City a chance - but poor control from Toure lets that one slip by.
    • 57' A stat which does not bode well for Arsenal - Arsenal have previously scored more first half goals in Premier League matches at Manchester City (15), than they have in the second half (12) (Infostrada)
    • 56' City really starting to look the part here, although Jenkinson, who's made a couple of good breaks forward for Arsenal, stands up a decent cross into the hosts' penalty area.
    • 55' More pressure from City - Javi Garcia gets on the end of a corner and nods in to Mannone's hands.
    • 54' ARSENAL LUCKY! Aguero almost through, and his shot blocked, looping just over Mannone's crossbar - to make matters worse, Koscielny might have clipped him as he went to ground.
    • 53' Diaby shows some muscle to hold off a couple of challenges - but suddenly he does lose the ball and City are on the move.
    • 52' Balotelli and Tevez seen perched under a single jacket as the rain beats down in Manchester.
    • 51' Arsenal have failed to win away in their last eight PL fixtures at the home of the reigning PL champions, since winning 1-0 at Manchester United in May 2002, a result which won them the 2001-02 Premier League title. (Infostrada)
    • 50' Arsenal just being beaten to the ball in challenges now - Diaby now bested by Clichy to keep a City move alive.
    • 49' AGUERO! City with a useful chance from a set piece of their own - it's whipped in by Silva, bounces to Aguero at the far post, who cannot resist a shot from a tight angle. Over the bar, and perhaps a bit wasteful.
    • 48' Joleon Lescott’s last goal came against France for England in the 1-1 draw in the opening game of Euro 2012 in June. Also a header from a set-piece. (Infostrada)
    • 47' Corner for the Gunners as Gervinho runs at Lescott. The England defender has to settle for conceding the set piece.
    • 46' City kick off the second half!
    • - City have switched Rodwell for Sinclair - Sinclair had a good first half, so unless that's an injury switch it's a tough call on the winger.
    • - We'll be back shortly for the second half - but in the meantime if you're looking for something to fill the next 15 minutes, you can join me on Twitter @Mark_Eurosport Follow here
    • 45+1' HALF TIME: Arsenal very good for much of the half, but City in front through a moment of carelessness at a corner. A fascinating match that's far from over.
    • 45' One added minute to play in the first half.
    • 45' Cazorla picks out Ramsey with another super pass - but the ball is poked away from under the Welshman's feet by Zabaleta.
    • 44' Cazorla in possession on halfway, but struggling for a pass for the first time in this match. He waits, waits a little longer, and then picks out Wilkinson with a cross-field balll.
    • 43' Decent from Arsenal - Gervinho turning one way and the other to get space on the right, then a low centre comes out and ends up with Cazorla, who finds space to have a shot which ends up wide of the far post.
    • 42' Arsenal emerge unscathed from the latest corner, but they're a bit shell-shocked. The champions have ridden their luck in the first few minutes and now taken their chance
    • 41' DZEKO SO CLOSE! First-time hit after move from Aguero - the Bosnian on the outside of the area, but it needs the fingertips of the goalkeeper to prevent it creeping in!
    • 41' Arsenal exposed - Mannone flapped at that cross, and they've paid for it. Silva with the assist.
    • 40' GOAL FOR MANCHESTER CITY! SIMPLE STUFF! Corner from the right, Lescott at the far post, Mannone not convincing as he tries to claim the ball, and the defender nods into the bottom of the net.
    • 39' Gibbs gets the ball away, but this is perhaps City's best spell in the match so far. They win a corner on the right.
    • 38' City break again - this time it's Toure to Sinclair, and there are men over for the hosts.
    • 37' Sinclair, via a deflected ball, finds Silva in the penalty area. The Spnaiard cannot find a pass of his own, but the ball comes back to Sinclair, who finds two red shirts bearing down on him before he can get a shot away.
    • 36' Ramsey bustles through the middle, picks out Gervinho breaking on the left. He cuts inside beyond Zabaleta, but his shot hits the side netting rather than the goal.
    • 35' City's turn to build slowly, with Toure picking out Zabaleta with a chipped pass. But Arsenal defending solidly, and as City try to zip the second ball down the flank, it goes straight out for a throw to the visitors.
    • 34' Teasing cross from Sinclair at the other end. Popping up on the right flank, it was the sort of inviting ball that can panic defences, but no City man can reach it this time.
    • 34' Cazorla takes it, drilling it low through the wall, and it appears to take a little deflection as well. Hart more than up to the challenge.
    • 33' Ramsey drives forward through the middle and wins a free kick around 25 yards out, just left of centre. Plenty of players who can have a shy from this range.
    • 32' Hart with the ball in his hands at the second attempt after the corner, and City sent on their away. The ball broke for Aguero to have a first time hit - but it's blocked.
    • 31' When they look for the killer pass, Gibbs is cut off by Zabaleta at the expense of a corner. Mertesacker trudges up for it.
    • 30' Arsenal dominating possession at present, but not ging forward at all. Biding their time.
    • 29' Diaby sends Arsenal tearing away upfield, but having swapped passes with Podolski he runs out of steam on the edge of the City area. Still wins a throw upfield, however.
    • 28' CAZORLA! Super stuff from the Spaniard, wriggling through past Javi Garcia and threading the most delicate of passes to Gervinho, but Clichy does well to stop the Ivorian getting a shot away.
    • 27' The move fizzles out with a Ramsey header going tamely to Hart in the City goal.
    • 26' Arteta straight past Toure and picks out Gervinho on the right as the Gunners probe.
    • 25' Aguero and Sinclair tee up Clichy for a cross, but the left-back's effort is blocked for a corner.
    • 24' PODOLSKI! SHOULD HAVE DONE BETTER! Jenkinson had done all the hard work, getting the better of Lescott when the ball looked lost, and cutting back for the German, but Podolski fired high over the bar from just inside the box.
    • 23' Shot from Diaby! It opened up from 25 yards after he shied one way then the other, but his effort was blocked before Hart was required.
    • 22' Clumsy tackle from the Spaniard, but he and Toure seem to see the funny side of it.
    • 21' Driving run from Kompany in his own half - gets rid of Ramsey, continues through to the middle, only to be fouled by Santi Cazorla.
    • 20' Gibbs has been played as a virtual left-sided midfielder so far - he's not been required at the back a great deal. But City are just starting to come into the contest.
    • 19' Sinclair and David Silva very nearly combine to devastating effect, but Mertesacker does just enough - and the ball doesn't break to Dzeko either.
    • 18' Sinclair has been the brightest spark for City so far - the battle between him and Jenkinson down that flank could be one to watch.
    • 17' Clichy completely beaten by the through ball from Ramsey, not to mention Gervinho's pace. Wenger was very unhappy as the chance slipped by.
    • 16' GERVINHO! What a terrible touch that was having been played through on goal. The space had just opened up in front of him, but there wasn't so much as a shot on goal in the end.
    • 15' Not a brilliant shot from Aguero, but enough to test out Mannone, who's deputising for Szczesny, who's out injured for a second straight game. The corner is dealt with comfortably.
    • 14' SHOT FROM AGUERO - ONLY PARRIED BY MANNONE! The Argentine drifted down the left, cut in and tried a shot from the edge of the area. Mannone palmed it away, but it could have gone anywhere. It breaks for a City corner.
    • 13' Gibbs with a little tap across the middle from the left-hand side - he might have been better off taking a touch.
    • 12' Just half a chance opens up for Gervinho as a pass is not cut out - but the Ivorian spins his way into the area and finds the space drying up.
    • 11' Kompany makes an interception and goes forward himself. The move fizzles out, however, forcing the captain into a swift jog back into position.
    • 10' The game being played at a good pace, with both sides looking to stroke the ball around and make things happen. The Gunners have settled immediately.
    • 9' Cazorla tries a shot from 25 yards - speculative, and not the best of connections. Hart stoops low to gather.
    • 8' Arteta feels he's lacking a passing option and trawls his way backwards to get Arsenal moving again.
    • 7' Aguero robs Diaby of the ball on halfway and gets City moving. Scott Sinclair tears down the left, but does not win a corner.
    • 6' Early running from the Gunners so far, but they have yet to turn that into a shot on goal.
    • 5' Ramsey picks out Jenkinson, who has made a marauding run down the right hand side.
    • 4' Clichy runs out of space on the left as City make their first tentative moves forward.
    • 3' Podolski, who has scored in his last three games for the club, linking up play from the centre circle. He's settled in very well already.
    • 2' Arsenal stroking the ball around confidently in the early exchanges, easing forward down the right hand side with purpose. City have a throw, however.
    • 1' Away we go! Both sides in their first kits.
    • 15:59 All set for action.
    • 15:58 A minute's applause at City for the two policewomen killed this week.
    • 15:57 A full house as expected at the Etihad, and the weather set fair. Lovely September afternoon for football.
    • 15:56 Hugs all-round as Arsenal take to the field. City's players more business-like, plenty of pointing and working out positions.
    • 15:55 Get involved and let me know how you see this match turning out. Will City have too much for Arsenal at home? Or has Wenger got it right this year? Tweet your thoughts and predictions to @Mark_Eurosport Follow here
    • 15:50 Roberto Mancini: "This story (about a row with Mario Balotelli over his personal habits) is totally false. Mario went in the stand only because we started to play with Carlos Tevez in attack and we couldn't have three strikers on the bench. There has been no argument, and no row. Absolutely not."
    • 15:45 Arsene Wenger: "I expect (City) to be focussed and play well, but it was a disappointment for them of course. It always takes a little bit away from you. But on our side, let's not have any speculation of the weakness or strength of them, let's focus on us to be at our best. If we are at our best I think we have a great chance to get a good result there."
    • 15:40 So no Tevez for City, while his compatriot is fit to start in partnership with Dzeko - looks like Mancini will field a straight 4-4-2. For Arsenal there is a late withdrawal as Vermaelen is laid low by flu. Koscielny takes his place in central defence.
    • 15:35 MANCHESTER CITY: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Garcia, Y Toure, Silva, Sinclair, Dzeko, Aguero - Subs - Pantilimon, Kolarov, Nastasic, Barry, Rodwell, Tevez, Balotelli /// ARSENAL: Mannone, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Arteta, Diaby, Arteta, Daiaby, Cazorla, Ramsey, Gervinho, Podolski - Subs - Martinez, Djourou, Santos, Coquelin, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Giroud
    • 15:30 There are other games in action today in the Premier League - Newcastle v Norwich began half an hour ago, while Liverpool v Manchester United has just finished at Anfield. Latest
    • 15:25 TEAM NEWS: Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will again be sidelined by the ankle problem which forced him out of the midweek Champions League win in Montpellier. Jack Wilshere (ankle) and Emmanuel Frimpong (knee) both returned to training this week but are still some way from first-team contention. Czech winger Tomas Rosicky (hamstring) and French defender Bacary Sagna (broken leg) are expected to feature within the next fortnight.
    • 15:25 TEAM NEWS: Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri looks set to miss the clash against his former club Arsenal a hamstring injury. Striker Sergio Aguero is poised to make his first appearance since the opening match after overcoming a knee problem while manager Roberto Mancini has said there are no disciplinary issues concerning forward Mario Balotelli. Defender Joleon Lescott will hope to reclaim his place but right-back Micah Richards (ankle) remains sidelined.
    • 15:20 Both sides come into this game unbeaten - two wins and two draws apiece after four matches this season. The mood is possibly brighter at Arsenal, where the team are beginning to gel without Robin Van Persie. Premier League table
    • 15:15 Hello and welcome to live text commentary from the Premier League as Arsenal visit defending champions Manchester City at the Etihad.
  • Summary

    • 90' GERVINHO! He did all the hard work, finding the space, and freeing himself for a shot on goal - but his shot from the edge of the box is a stinker. Well over the bar. If he could finish he'd be a terrific striker. It hasn't happened today.

For a joke club like Man City to be winning titles in the modern age says everything about the state of our game.
