    • 90+5' FULL TIME. Hart's gaffe denies City a clean sheet but goals from Aguero and Toure give City all three points. An entertaining if ultimately irrelevant match.
    • 90+4' GOAL! Man City 2-1 West Ham. Awful goalkeeping from Hart as he lets a Carroll shot through his legs. Really bad goalkeeping.
    • 90+3' Hart, possibly still suffering that back injury, makes a horrible attempt to hold a cross from the left and is fortunate not to be punished.
    • 90+2' CHANCE FOR CITY! Aguero latches onto the loose ball after Jaaskelainen spills a shot from Zabaleta but can't sneak his shot inside the post.
    • 90+1' We will have four added minutes.
    • 90' Hart appears to have hurt his back and needs a trainer on. He continues but is wincing.
    • 89' Demel slips under pressure from Aguero but does just enough to get the ball back to Jaaskelainen.
    • 88' CHANCE FOR WEST HAM! Hart does just enough to keep out a header from Carroll as the striker rises to meet a cross from the right.
    • 88' Stat from Infostrada: "Manchester City have now scored 61 PL goals this season. They have only scored more in a full season twice in the PL – 93 goals in 2011-12 and 73 goals in 2009-10."
    • 87' Another change from City as Nasri is replaced by Kolo Toure.
    • 87' CHANCE FOR CITY! Demel makes an important block to deny Aguero after Zabaleta gets in behind to cut the ball back for the striker.
    • 86' City should see this out easily enough. The three points will take them eight clear of third-placed Arsenal.
    • 84' A rare outing for Mr Javi Garcia as he replaces Tevez.
    • 83' GOAL! Man City 2-0 West Ham! Yaya Toure thunders one in from just outside the box after receiving a square pass. He left Jaaskelainen with no chance when finding the top corner.
    • 82' CHANCE FOR WEST HAM! A corner bobbles out to Jarvis and his effort is blocked, possibly by the arm of Zabaleta. Collins follows up but drives the loose ball wide.
    • 81' Here's West Ham's long awaited change as Taylor comes on for captain Nolan. Carlton Cole also replaces O'Brien as Allardyce throws caution to the wind.
    • 79' A change for City as James Milner comes on for Silva in midfield.
    • 78' Zabaleta is booked for his part in the fracas.
    • 77' The City players are furious with O'Brien after he clatters into Zabaleta and Webb has to intervene as tempers fray. It's a booking.
    • 76' West Ham are getting Matt Taylor ready on the sidelines.
    • 74' Stat from Opta: "Samir Nasri has two goals in three games (all competitions) after going 20 without one."
    • 72' CHANCE FOR CITY! Tevez gets free on the right and delivers a tantalising cross for Nasri at the back post. He must score, but somehow gets his legs in a tangle and fails to get the necessary contact.
    • 71' Collison jumps up to prevent a throw from Aguero being taken and goes into the book. A silly one.
    • 69' Nasri is really in the mood. Now he tries to take on six men, only to finally be dispossessed.
    • 67' CHANCE FOR CITY! More excellent work from City as Aguero loses Collins in the box and pulls a pass back for Tevez, who sees his goal-bound effort deflected over by Joey O'Brien.
    • 66' SUB: Vaz Te is replaced by tidy young midfielder Jack Collison.
    • 65' Toure lofts a clever pass into the box and Reid misjudges the situation as he flicks a header behind for a corner. Jaaskelainen flaps at the set-piece.
    • 64' Now here's Nasri with a cheeky little backheel. City clearly full of confidence today.
    • 63' City have looked very good in flashes today. Their use of the ball has been very good.
    • 61' CHANCE FOR CITY! Tevez plays in Nasri with an absolutely sensation reverse pass and the Frenchman's firm drive from a tight angle is tipped over by Jaaskelainen.
    • 60' Carroll attacks a cross from the right from Demel but the presence of Kompany is enough to put him off and he can't hit the target.
    • 59' Stat from Infostrada: "Manchester City have only dropped 4 points at home this season when they’ve scored first – both draws against Arsenal (1-1) and Liverpool (2-2)."
    • 57' Big shouts for a penalty from West Ham as Jarvis gets a cross in from the left and sees the ball strike Zabaleta's arm. However, it was very close range and Zabaleta's arm was tucked into his body. Not for me.
    • 56' In comes the corner and Carroll is left furious after being held off the ball by Lescott. Nothing doing.
    • 55' Vaz Te goes tumbling in the box but replays show Zabaleta got the ball cleanly. A corner rather than a penalty.
    • 54' CHANCE FOR CITY! More patient passing from the home side before Nasri skips away from two men and lofts a gorgeous pass over the top for Tevez. He gets a shot away and Reid's touch takes it behind.
    • 53' Stat from Infostrada: "Sergio Aguero scored a first half home PL goal for the first time since April 2012 in a 4-0 home win v West Brom. He has only scored 7 home first half PL goals since joining City."
    • 52' Nasri sees an attempted cross but out by Reid, and after the corner comes in, Kompany smashes one off target.
    • 50' West Ham construct a neat move that ends when the impressive Lescott takes the ball off the feet of Carroll.
    • 49' Stat from Opta: "The Hammers have scored just nine goals in their last 16 Premier League games against Man City and never more than once in a game in that run."
    • 48' Silva tries to release Aguero with a smart pass round the corner but Jaaskelainen comes off his line to gather the ball.
    • 47' Zabaleta with an important piece of defending as he turns a dangerous cross behind at the back post with Reid arriving behind him.
    • 46' KICK OFF!
    • 45+2' HALF TIME. Aguero's finely worked goal gives Man City the lead at half time. West Ham have created very little indeed.
    • 45+1' Carroll gets a cross ahead of Lescott and his flicked effort touches off the City defender to go wide for a corner.
    • 45' We will have at least one added minute.
    • 43' West Ham's players are having a word with referee Webb after his failure to call a foul by Nasri on Vaz Te. The forward has to be told to calm down by skipper Nolan.
    • 42' City suddenly find themselves three v three at the back thanks to a fine pass from Toure but instead of going left to Nasri, Aguero makes a mess of his pass right to Tevez and the chance passes.
    • 41' City haven't really been threatened so far this afternoon. Even Carroll has been relatively subdued. It's been a good defensive performance from the home side.
    • 39' Zabaleta is forced to take action from a deep cross from the right and chests the ball away to safety.
    • 37' Managers Allardyce and Mancini appear to be getting a bit tetchy on the sidelines.
    • 36' West Ham take a free-kick quickly and get Jarvis free in behind, but the winger is caught offside.
    • 35' Kompany bodychecks Jarvis rather unsubtly and the West Ham winger is shaken after colliding with the torso of the City captain.
    • 34' Stat from Infostrada: "Manchester City have now equalled a club record of scoring in 48 successive home league matches which stood from November 1927 to February 1930."
    • 33' The free-kick has too much on it though and Reid can only held the ball on for a goal-kick at the back post.
    • 32' Ricardo Vaz Te does well to buy a free-kick from Clichy on the right flank. West Ham flood the box.
    • 31' Now Barry turns a shot high over the bar as the City barrage continues.
    • 30' CHANCE FOR CITY! Here they come again. Nasri thumps in a vicious effort from right on the edge of the box and when Zabaleta follows up, Jaaskelainen does enough to send his shot wide for a corner.
    • 28' GOAL! Manchester City 1-0 West Ham! Sergio Aguero rounds off a lovely flowing move. Toure, Silva and Nasri exchange a series of quick passes and when the Frenchman cuts the ball back, Aguero is on hand to squeeze a shot under Jaaskelainen.
    • 28' Kompany is under pressure from Carroll and is forced to hammer the ball away downfield. Meanwhile, Jarvis appears to be in some kind of discomfort.
    • 26' Stat from Opta: "Manchester City have won seven and lost just one of their last 11 Barclays Premier League games against West Ham."
    • 25' A chance for West Ham as the ball pops up nicely for Diame 20 yards from goal and he lashes in a firm volley that Hart gathers at the second attempt. Carroll looked tempted to waft his leg at it and maybe he should have done.
    • 24' With 23 on the clock, both fans observe a minute's applause for Marc-Vivien Foe, who represented both teams and died in 2003 at the age of 28.
    • 23' CITY HIT THE WOODWORK! A Tevez pass deflects into Aguero's path and, unmarked with the goal at his mercy, he scuffs the ball horribly and sends it against the post.
    • 22' Diame plays in a wonderful through-ball for Matt Jarvis but again Lescott is equal to the task as he takes the ball away in classy fashion.
    • 21' Tevez quickly exchanges passes with a team-mate but his first-time effort is lifted over the bar as he digs under the ball.
    • 20' Carroll has now been booked in five consecutive Premier League games.
    • 19' Now Collins prevents a quick break with another well-timed tackle, but City get the ball again and when Aguero looks to accelerate away, Carroll clatters into him to earn a booking.
    • 18' Carroll heads away from a Man City corner and the ball finds Silva 20 yards out. He strikes the ball firmly and watches his effort squirt just wide.
    • 17' Well done James Collins. The West Ham defender spots a City runner attacking the byline and when the ball comes in he steams across to slide in and take the ball away.
    • 16' City look the more likely side at present, which is no surprise given the attacking riches on display. West Ham will do well to contain them today.
    • 15' Aguero makes a darting run in behind the defence and Silva spots him with a lovely chipped pass. Jaaskelainen is also alert to the danger though and comes off his line to catch.
    • 13' Silva's still offering all the time in midfield and looking for the ball. A few kicks won't put him off, clearly.
    • 12' Silva is the victim of more rough stuff in midfield as Diame bangs into him from behind. A few early reducers for the Spanish playmaker.
    • 11' Stat from Opta: "Matt Jarvis has created more goalscoring chances than any other player without an assist this season (40)."
    • 10' Tevez looks very up for this. Now he tries to get the ball out of his feet and accelerate past two men, but the move doesn't quite come off.
    • 9' City move forward purposefully again. Tevez plays in Zabaleta with a gorgeous straight pass and the defender wins a corner. Carroll turns it behind following a flick from Tevez, before heading the next one away.
    • 8' Tevez, a former Hammer of course, has the first effort on goal when rifling a 20-yarder right down the throat of Jaaskelainen.
    • 7' Diame's persistence in hassling Barry pays off as Nolan collects a weak attempted clearance. He can't get a shot away from the edge of the box though.
    • 6' Reid has another kick at Silva and gets a talking to from referee Howard Webb. That's twice he's brought him down.
    • 5' West Ham target the right flank again. Andy Carroll finds himself under pressure near the corner flag but he turns quickly and lashes in a dangerous cross that just has too much on it.
    • 4' Assured defending from Joleon Lescott as he comes across to rob the ball from West Ham with a timely intervention.
    • 3' Winston Reid chops down Silva in midfield and City win a free-kick. They take it short and play the ball around patiently.
    • 2' A bright start for City then, but West Ham have since tried to launch a couple of balls into the box to cause the home side problems.
    • 1' Straight from kick-off, Samir Nasri embarks on a superb run and pokes a pass through for Tevez, but the striker is miles offside when he collects the ball and shoots at Jussi Jaaskelainen.
    • 1' KICK OFF!
    • 12:45 You can find me on Twitter, if that's your kind of thing. Follow Tom Adams (@tomEurosport) on Twitter
    • 12:40 The two sets of players are in the tunnel. Vincent Kompany leading out City and Kevin Nolan wearing the armband for West Ham. It's a bright day at the Etihad Stadium and let's hope for some illuminating football.
    • 12:35 West Ham are five games unbeaten and want a strong finish to their impressive campaign, according to defender Winston Reid. Reid eyes strong finish
    • 12:30 Time for some Opta stats: "Andy Carroll has scored more goals against Manchester City than versus any other Premier League opponent (4). West Ham didn’t manage a single shot on target when they met Manchester City at Upton Park earlier this season. West Ham have the best saves to shots rate in the Premier League this season (76%)."
    • 12:25 Roberto Mancini on losing the league title race: "It was over three, four, five games ago, not mathematically but it was over. They deserve to win this title, many congratulations to Manchester United for the work they did this season. They did better than us, they won a lot of games in a row, it was really difficult. We should be also realistic. If there is one team that did better than you, you can do nothing."
    • 12:20 There are, however, a couple of things to keep you interested. Firstly, City are FA Cup finalists and they have players looking to secure their place in Mancini's first XI for Wembley. Secondly, Andy Carroll's future is still in doubt and he will be looking to finish the season strongly having been involved in seven of West Ham's last 13 league goals. Oh, and thirdly, it's football.
    • 12:15 You might think this game counts for little, and you'd be right. Manchester City can no longer win the league and have a nice cushion on the teams below them, so they'll almost certainly finish second. Meanwhile West Ham are sitting pretty in 10th, troubling neither the relegation battle nor the European spots. Premier League table
    • 12:10 West Ham are unchanged from the side that defeated Wigan 2-0 last weekend. David Silva and Sergio Aguero return to the City starting XI and replace James Milner and Edin Dzeko, while Joleon Lescott comes in for Matija Nastasic at the back.
    • 12:05 TEAMS: Manchester City: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Y Toure, Barry, Silva, Tevez, Nasri, Aguero. Subs: Pantilimon, K Toure, Nastasic, Kolarov, Garcia, Milner, Dzeko. /// West Ham: Jaaskelainen, Demel, Collins, Reid, O'Brien, Vaz Te, O'Neil, Diame, Nolan, Jarvis, Carroll. Subs: Henderson, Pogatetz, Taylor, Noble, J.Cole, Collison, C.Cole.
