@Tom, #512: be serious. No matter the sport (or country, for that matter), the best team at the beginning of the season is certainly not guaranteed to be the best team at the end. If Man U lost their last four matches in horrible fashion, would serious football fans say the best team was crowned champion? Yes, I admit to a U.S.(not American, as "American" also means Peruvians and Canadians, for example) bias, but when teams here finish the regular season in first place, no one cares. Like at all. Even the bookmakers don't care. And when the oddsmakers don't care, it actually kind of says a lot. The team on a roll, in good health, and in good form gets all the attention, no matter what place in in the table they were on the final day. And you want to call my post stupid? To make a statement that no one cares about American sports is insanely and ridiculously stupid.
Is there any way that we can finally get some help in the herat of the team to support Carrick.....the midfield is greatly lacking, and I know we have all been saying that for about 3 years , but Sir appears to be deaf to our cry, isn't it so obviously clear. Please Sir -hope the penny has finally dropped.
You can have all the world class strikers in the universe but if you don't have a decent midfield to feed them then what's the use. Sir please put away your principles and spend the dosh and BUY some decent midfielders. Gosh!
Shall I repeat what we've all been saying for the last 3 years......United are badly lacking in midfield. Sir Alex please get it sorted.
city are the true champs, the manures only have it with the refs and fa help , at least 20 points given them by their refs ,why do you think everybody hates you, they can see what happens, only foreigners support you and the welsh ba ba's
wait if we carnt beat the top 3 teams lol think people forgettn utd beat city on ur own turf yes you just beat us on yours so thts 1-1 this season
Steven think you should avoid the word LUCK when taking about pts in the P.Lge.
No sense l.up Fergie AGAIN Welbeck is no winger Young has not played more than 5 games for unfit reasons why was he chosen? Rooney lost it , Carrick seemed asleep. and all the others seemed careless to put it mildly. So now we lost against Real after leading away then lost at home bye bye C.lge. Same thing against chesea but even worse and out of the F.A Cup Now the game we should have made sure to win at home was the worst result this year Fergie think you need a recharge or a ............. wot a mess you put the team in Think that leading the P.Lge is plain luck hope it won't slip away too cos that WILL be an alltime record.
Oh Colin break the bank for Bale, bring back Ronaldo? but Utd don't buy success, ho, ho, ho. Tom, know one cares about American sports? I think your owners may be spending a bit of your Carrington cash on more than Salford Red Sox. And as for your 12 points, well that is true but your predicted 18 point gap also looks rather silly, how moronic are you, ha, ha, ha.
Flood warning !!! no it was the tears from uniturd fans after L OOOOOSING
#500 / Ed P "Winning the league only implies most consistent team, not best."" - This is one of most ridiculous and stupid statements I've read in my entire life. The best team IS the most consistent team you fool. No one cares about American sports - it's totally irrelevant to this matter. The BEST team are at the top of the league. The table doesn't lie - especially when there are currently TWELVE points in between 1st and 2nd place. How moronic you are.
"Man United cannot beat any top descent team" Man City 2-3 Man United, Chelsea 2-3 Man United. we won both away games against the 2nd and 3rd teams of the premier league, arguably the 2 most hard fixtures of our season.
"Man United cannot beat any top descent team"
As a United fan im slightly annoyed about loosing to the noisy neighbours again , it has been a fortuatus season and well carry on and lift the 20th title , But we must invest money this year some of this money for renaming Carrington!! , out with Wellbeck Young neither United quality and cant understand why Fergie picks them Wellbeck is a runner and cant pick a pass because his eyes are always watching the ball cant look up sh$$e Young since he came may have had a handfully of decent games, withdraw Rooney to midfield buy a stricker to partner Van Persie bring Ronaldo home break the bank for Bale job done
Last time out, Fergie cited Valencia as our only player offering his potential, so as reward for his efforts he dropped him. Danny Wellbeck for all his enthusiasm and skill on the ball, struggles to fit into the team. The night should have seen Kagawa start too. Only consolation on the night was Thatcher not getting her minutes silence. What are the papers banging on about?
loser always hate..
Manchester united are very weak, they are luck 12 points clear,if not a repeat of last year would have happened.against mancity yesterday they only player who did well although couldnt handle aguro is jones,he did well, van persie is a goal shy player now,hmm ronney is nothing but fat lazy player,if im the coach i will sell him alongside rio, retire gibs, sell anderson, retire schols, and resuffle the team with 4 more signing ,2 solid midfielders, 2 solid defenders,2 solid attackers,if not i bet,it will not be easy with city, and against chelsea,i bet they will win us at old traford like city did.
This is proof that you can't beat an itchy scalp.
from a man u fan i watched the 1st 30 mins before i went to work what a bunch of morons and its not just the 1st time they have played like a load of #$%$ city passsed very well and utd can't pass and that was fergies strongest 11 ?? wellbeck was never a good player and rooney is no longer a decent player 12pts we will still win our 20th league title tbh fk knows how.we will also lose to chelsea i would put money on it when we play them.

He was only on the pitch for 19 minutes but the striker provided the moment of the match with a sensational goal to give City the derby spoils.
