    • 90+5' FULL TIME. Kagawa the star of the show for United with three fantastic goals, but Rooney's wasn't bad either. United go 15 points clear.
    • 90+4' Smalling puts in a cross from the right and only a touch from Turner stops Welbeck from tapping home at the back post.
    • 90+3' We will have four added minutes by the way.
    • 90+2' Norwich bring on Luciano Becchio, but it's too little too late of course.
    • 90+1' Very reminiscent of that famous goal for Everton against Arsenal. A superb finish from United.
    • 90' GOAL! Manchester United 4-0 Norwich! Oh my. It's sensational from Rooney. He takes a pass from Welbeck 40 yards, loses his man with a dummy and then lashes the ball home from 20 yards with a dipping shot that evades Bunn.
    • 88' Another lovely finish from Kagawa. What a game he has had.
    • 87' GOAL! Manchester United 3-0 Norwich! Kagawa with the hat-trick! Welbeck plays in Rooney, who then produces a first-time angled pass to find Kagawa. His goal is expertly taken as he dinks the ball neatly over Bunn.
    • 86' Kagawa has been the star of the show today of course. His best game for United.
    • 84' A reminder: United are set to go 15 points clear at the top of the table. Fifteen. City travel to Villa on Monday night.
    • 83' Norwich are done for today. United just going through the motions now.
    • 82' Welbeck is hobbling around now and looks okay.
    • 81' Turner is into the book for a crunching tackle on Welbeck. This doesn't look too smart with Madrid on Tuesday.
    • 79' Stat from Infostrada: "Shinji Kagawa becomes the first Japanese player with a PL brace. He also equals the PL record of most goals by a Japanese player (4), sharing it with Junichi Inamoto (Fulham, 2002-2004)."
    • 78' CHANCE FOR UNITED! Now Bunn makes a smart stop to deny Welbeck at his near post as United aim to kill the ball off.
    • 77' Such a deft, clever touch from Kagawa, who used the minimum required velocity to roll the ball home. Brilliant.
    • 77' GOAL! Manchester United 2-0 Norwich! A gorgeous finish from Kagawa. Rooney gets in behind Bassong, checks onto his left and tees up Kagawa. With Turner and Bunn hurtling across the box, the Japan star simply cushions the ball back the other way with his instep.
    • 76' Kamara miscontrols on the edge of the box and puts Evans under pressure but the defender shields the ball back for De Gea.
    • 75' Cleverley immediately loses possession with a horribly sloppy pass. Not the best way to introduce yourself to the game.
    • 74' United also freshen things up as Tom Cleverley replaces Anderson in midfield.
    • 74' Norwich make a second change as Elliott Bennett replaces Snodgrass on the wing.
    • 73' Nasty from Johnson as he catches Rooney high on the ankle. It's an awful challenge and earns him a booking.
    • 72' Norwich make a change now as the peripheral Hoolahan is replaced by Kei Kamara, who scored in the defeat of Everton last week.
    • 71' Anderson and Rooney exchange quick passes but the return from the striker to the Brazilian is cut out. United have tried a lot of those rapid exchanges today.
    • 70' United need to step things up a bit here as they are allowing Norwich to develop real hope of an equaliser.
    • 69' Garrido bodychecks Valencia to give away a foul and earn a booking.
    • 67' Anderson pops a pass to Rooney and he lets the ball run in anticipation of Evra running onto it. He doesn't, and United watch the ball roll out of play.
    • 66' Our first change of the afternoon as Van Persie is replaced by Danny Welbeck.
    • 65' Poor from Rooney. He takes the ball forward from 30 yards out and finds space, but drags his shot from the edge of the box and sees it go wide.
    • 64' A much better second half from Norwich, who should be level.
    • 63' Now Bunn is in pain again following a collision with his own man. He has been in the wars today.
    • 62' WHAT A MISS! Pilkington dinks a ball up to Holt and he heads down for Martin, who loses Vidic to latch onto the ball five yards out. Instead of poking it home though he gets under the ball and lifts it over the bar! He had to score!
    • 61' This is better from Norwich - they are restricting United to fewer chances and have started enjoying some of their own, mostly from corners and set-pieces.
    • 59' Norwich threaten from a corner but Bassong can't get his header on target.
    • 58' Stat from Opta: "Just one of the 31 goals that Manchester United have conceded this season have been scored from outside the box."
    • 56' The free-kick is pumped into the box for Bassong but his header loops up into the air and into the arms of De Gea.
    • 55' Vidic has words for the ref after conceding a free-kick but he pushed Holt to ground. A clear foul 40 yards from goal.
    • 54' Now Carrick tries to lift a ball over the top for Van Persie but the Dutchman has strayed onside.
    • 53' CHANCE FOR UNITED! Brilliant, brilliant pass from Kagawa to play in Rooney as he threads the ball 30 yard. Rooney's touch appears to take him past Bunn but the keeper's outstretched leg takes the ball away.
    • 51' Vidic gets a firm header away to clear for United though, and Smalling then puts in a fine challenge to dispossess Snodgrass as Norwich come back.
    • 50' Norwich get the ball wide on the right and Martin's cross is turned behind by Vidic as Snodgrass looks to pounce at the near post. Corner to the visitors.
    • 49' United the more confident in possession at the start of this second half, though again they have been sloppy in the final third.
    • 48' Wes Hoolahan is popping up on the left now to try and stretch the United defence but still Norwich can't get a proper shot away.
    • 47' Stat from Infostrada: "Manchester United are unbeaten in their last 42 PL matches when winning at half-time (40 wins, 2 draws)."
    • 46' No changes by either side at the start of the second half.
    • 46' KICK OFF!
    • - What did you make of the first half? Let me know on Twitter now. Follow Tom Adams (@tomEurosport) on Twitter
    • 45+4' HALF TIME. Kagawa gives United the lead just before the break with a composed finish from Van Persie's important intervention.
    • 45+3' There's still time for a first booking of the game as Snodgrass is punished for going in high and late on Evra.
    • 45+2' GOAL! Manchester United 1-0 Norwich City! Kagawa strikes in first half injury time! Valencia delivers a teasing cross and Van Persie sticks out a toe to take the ball away from Bassong and to Kagawa, who prods it home on the volley. Poor goalkeeping but a nice finish.
    • 45+1' We will have two minutes of added time.
    • 45' VAN PERSIE THREATENS! The Dutch striker gets his head to a cross from the right but sees his effort blocked by Turner as United fail to test Bunn again.
    • 43' Van Persie has been rather subdued and when he has had the chance to make an impact on the game, his final product has been uncharacteristically poor.
    • 42' United really haven't been great so far - there's no real urgency.
    • 40' Now Rooney tries to skip past Turner on the run but the centre-back sticks out his leg to block the striker.
    • 39' Anderson tries to release Smalling with a pass down the right but Javier Garrido steps up to intercept.
    • 38' Stat from Opta: "United have claimed a league high and club Premier League record 27 points from losing positions this season but have not had to do so since January."
    • 36' Yet another United corner, and yet again Norwich clear. The hosts haven't made the most of their set-pieces so far today.
    • 35' Van Persie gets a shot all wrong from the edge of the box as he lashes his effort high into the stands.
    • 34' A lovely passing move from United ends with Rooney having a shot blocked by Martin. Kagawa was influential in the build-up again, along with Valencia.
    • 33' A third corner in less than a minute for United as Russell Martin turns a Van Persie cross behind. Again Norwich scramble clear.
    • 32' Now Rooney has a shot deflected over the bar as United win a corner. In comes the ball and it goes behind off a Norwich shirt. Another corner...
    • 31' Chance for United! Evra gets in down the left and his cross is deflected, bouncing out to Rooney. He opts for the first time hit but his rifled shot is blocked.
    • 30' United have been sloppy so far this afternoon though Kagawa is showing a bit of spark. He is drifting into a central position most of the time so the United left is often vacated.
    • 29' Kagawa with a gorgeous first-time pass to Rooney but he is immediately crowded out by yellow shirts in the box.
    • 28' Carrick plays in Kagawa with a cute pass and the Japanese playmaker aims to do likewise for Rooney. However, United lose the ball just outside the box.
    • 27' Stat from Opta: "United and Norwich have scored 23 (13 and 10 respectively) headed goals in the Premier League this season."
    • 26' Vidic leaps to meet a corner from Van Persie but appears to be penalised for leaping on Sebastien Bassong. He jumped with his arm in the air but it looked fine to me.
    • 25' United attack again and this time they work the ball to Carrick, who is just inside the box. He steers a measured shot towards the near post but Bunn is down quickly to save.
    • 24' Bunn gets away with one! He miscontrols a back-pass and is lucky that when the ball squirms right it does so to the side of the post.
    • 23' Holt gets his head to a cross from the left and the ball loops up into the air. David De Gea leaps to grab it under late pressure from Anthony Pilkington.
    • 22' Kagawa slips a pass out to Rooney, who displays some excellent close control to recycle the ball. Kagawa is released again but this time his cross fails to find a red shirt.
    • 21' Chris Smalling breaks down the right and whips in a cross but Turner heads away for Norwich.
    • 20' Stat from Opta: "Man Utd are looking to win five league games in a row for the second time this season, no other side has managed this once."
    • 19' United attempt to prise open the Norwich defence with another one-touch move but this time Van Persie fails to find Kagawa in the box.
    • 18' Determined work from Van Persie as he holds onto the ball under considerable pressure in the middle of the park. United can't fashion a chance though.
    • 17' Bunn winces in pain and requires lengthy treatment after being caught by Van Persie. The striker was clearly making an attempt to win the ball though.
    • 16' CHANCE FOR UNITED! Norwich lose possession in midfield and Anderson, Van Persie and Rooney indulge in some quick one-touch football before the Dutchman is set free on goal. Bunn comes off his line to smother the ball and Van Persie sticks in his boot.
    • 15' United really haven't been anywhere near their best so far.
    • 14' Van Persie curls in a deep cross to the back post and Nemanja Vidic heads the ball down, but there are no United shirts in attendance in the box to tap it in, with Rooney and Evans both ahead of the ball.
    • 12' Poor control from Van Persie as he fails to pull down a chipped pass to the edge of the box from Anderson. Unusual for him.
    • 11' Evra shows a bit too much of the ball to Snodgrass, who continues his fine defensive work with a firm sliding challenge.
    • 10' A poor pass from Kagawa is cut out by Michael Turner. It hasn't been the best of debut seasons for the Japan star, who has suffered quite a bit from injury.
    • 9' Van Persie plays a quick pass in for Rooney and he side-foots it back first time, but the ball is cut out by a Norwich shirt and the visitors clear.
    • 8' The pitch at Old Trafford already seems to be cutting up quite significantly.
    • 7' The linesman just caught the ball in a sensitive area. Always good value.
    • 6' Van Persie takes control of the ball for the first real time and plays a nice reverse pass in for Rooney. However, Mark Bunn comes off his line quickly to smother the ball.
    • 5' Snodgrass is back up and puts in a thumping tackle on Patrice Evra by the touchline. United are upping the pressure in the final third.
    • 4' Kagawa jumps into the air as Robert Snodgrass slides in to challenge him and his studs land on the Scottish winger's knee. He needs treatment.
    • 3' Grant Holt peels off at the back post but Bradley Johnson overcooks his cross. If he had got the cross right that could have been 1-0.
    • 3' United appear to be lining up with Rooney playing off Van Persie and Kagawa wide on the left. Equally Rooney could have shifted to the flank.
    • 2' Michael Carrick pings a pass through for Shinji Kagawa but the Japan international can't get control of the ball on the edge of the box.
    • 1' KICK OFF! United attacking right to left.
    • 15:00 The Norwich players indulge in a pre-match huddle and we are just about ready to go at a sunny Old Trafford.
    • 14:55 The teams come into the tunnel and United stride out to applause from their fans at Old Trafford. Can't see anything other than a routine victory for the home side ahead of a tougher contest in midweek.
    • 14:50 If you want to keep an eye on how United's midweek opponents are doing, you can follow the clasico live with us. It's not on British TV so get your fill here.
    • 14:45 Time for some more stats, courtesy of Opta: "Sir Alex Ferguson’s side have kept three consecutive league clean sheets for the first time this season. This is their best run since March/April 2012 when they kept five in a row. Norwich have won two of their last four Premier League games against Manchester United but they have both come at Carrow Road. Robin van Persie has hit the woodwork seven times, more than six Premier League sides in their entirety."
    • 14:40 United start the day 12 points ahead of Manchester City and unless something remarkable happens, that gap will become 15 ahead of City's match away at Aston Villa on Monday night. Just to underline the task facing today's visitors, Norwich’s last league win at Old Trafford came in August 1989.
    • 14:35 Norwich secured a first win in seven last weekend when beating Everton 2-1 with an injury-time goal from Grant Holt, and Chris Hughton makes only one change as January signing Luciano Becchio is replaced in the starting XI by Anthony Pilkington.
    • 14:30 So Manchester United resist the temptation to field a weakened side ahead of their second leg against Real Madrid, which comes on Tuesday night. Robin van Persie even gets a start after hurting his hip last weekend, but Rio Ferdinand is taken out of the firing line to keep him fresh. I make it six changes from the side that won 2-0 away at QPR.
    • 14:25 TEAMS: Man Utd: De Gea, Smalling, Vidic, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Anderson, Carrick, Kagawa, Rooney, van Persie. Subs: Rafael, Lindegaard, Young, Welbeck, Cleverley, Nani, Hernandez. /// Norwich: Bunn, R. Martin, Johnson, Bassong, Turner, Snodgrass, Howson, Holt, Pilkington, Hoolahan, Garrido. Subs: Camp, Whittaker, Fox, Kamara, E.Bennett, Becchio, R.Bennett.
    • 14:20 Ryan Giggs earned a new contract this week and was set to make his 1,000th senior appearance, exactly 22 years after his first one. However, Sir Alex Ferguson has ruined a thousand features by leaving him out of the squad altogether today.
