    • 63' Wigan have conceded two or more goals in each of their last six Premier League games.

    • - Should Roberto Martinez make changes at half-time? What do you predict the full-time scoreline will be? You can get in touch via Twitter
    • 45+3' The half-time whistle goes at Carrow Road, and Norwich lead Wigan 1-0 courtesy of Anthony Pilkington's 15th minute strike. It should be one or two more for Norwich, but Wigan remain in the contest with just a goal in it.
    • 45+2' Snodgrass again drifts out to the right and whips over a testing ball towards Holt, but Al Habsi collects once more.
    • 45+1' Tettey is put through on goal, but he dallies and ends up turning back towards his own half and playing the ball behind him!
    • 45' There will be three added minutes at the end of this first half as Wigan keep the ball tidily in thier own half.
    • 44' Al Habsi does very well to claim a high ball inside his box as he challenges with Holt, and he looks assured this time.
    • 43' Wigan are ending the first half strongly after having been outplayed for most of it. Martinez will certainly have to consider making changes at the break.
    • 42' Hughton will be generally delighted with his side's showing in this first half, but will be unhappy that only one chance has been converted.
    • 41' Wigan's first attempt on goal comes four minutes before the break, and Boselli simply drives it straight to Bunn, who gathers comfortably.
    • 40' Lopez is booked for a robust challenge on Hoolahan, and the home fans are delighted by this.
    • 39' Norwich could quite easily be three goals up at this stage, with Snodgrass and Pilkington both squandering glorious chances.
    • 38' It's all Norwich still, and Wigan cannot seem to get on the ball or to alleviate the pressure on their goal.
    • 37' Al Habsi makes up for his earlier error with a stunning save! Garrido gets to the left byline before scooping a pinpoint cross over to Snodgrass, who should score with a free header on target, but Al Habsi tips it over the crossbar!
    • 36' Kone takes a through ball from Gomez into his stride, but his shot flashes wide from the edge of the penalty area!
    • 35' Johnson and McCarthy are locked in an ongoing battle in midfield, and the former fails to make contact with a kick off the ball - he's treading a tightrope!
    • 34' STAT: Norwich are unbeaten in their last nine league games. They last went on a longer run within a single top-flight season in March 1987 (15 games).
    • 33' What a miss from Pilkington! Al Habsi flaps at a deep cross from Snodgrass, and Pilkington somehow volleys wide from close range with an open goal! It's a glorious chance to squander.
    • 32' Boselli races in to receive the ball from Kone with the goal at his mercy, only for the offside flag to be raised!
    • 31' McCarthy continues to be booed every time he receives the ball due to being fouled and pushed to the ground by Johnson earlier on.
    • 30' Pilkington races on to gather a through ball from Bassong into his stride, but he cannot keep control of it as Stam intervenes.
    • 29' In that eight game run, the Canaries have kept five clean sheets and although they have conceded seven goals, five of those came in one game (against Liverpool).
    • 28' Norwich have lost just one of their last eight Premier League games at Carrow Road (W5 D2 L1) including winning the last four in a row.
    • 27' It's turning into a very feisty match at Carrow Road with tackles flying in from both sides.
    • 26' The home fans are furious with that decision from the referee, but there was no contact from Lopez and Pilkington tumbled over.
    • 25' Pilkington goes down on the edge of the Wigan box with Adrian Lopez standing there bewildered, and the referee books the winger for diving!
    • 24' McArthur races through on goal but dallies before driving a tame shot on target with Bunn able to make a comfortable save - it's a big chance for Wigan from a clear opening!
    • 23' McCarthy trots gingerly back on to the pitch, accompanied by a chorus of boos from the home fans - if they watch the replay later they will know the Wigan man was not in the wrong.
    • 22' Martinez is not at all happy about Johnson's challenge, or his reaction, and McCarthy hobbles away to the touchline after lying on the ground.
    • 21' Johnson fouls McCarthy with a nasty challenge before pushing him with the midfielder on the ground, and he is perhaps fortunate to get away with just a booking!
    • 20' Stam beats Garrido with a pacy run down the right, but his cross is disappointing from the byline.
    • 19' Gomez breaks at pace for the visitors after another attack from Norwich breaks down, but a sloppy pass intended for Boselli is intercepted by Turner.
    • 18' Snodgrass whips over a devilish delivery from a corner out on the right, but Al Habsi does very well to punch away powerfully.
    • 17' STAT: All of Norwich’s last four wins at Carrow Road have been by a one-goal margin and Chris Hughton’s side have only scored eight goals in their last seven matches on home soil.
    • 16' Bunn races out to collect a loose ball as Wigan look to hit back immediately, and Norwich need to hold their shape.
    • 15' GOAL! Pilkington nets his third goal of the season with a ferocious left-footed strike from inside the Wigan box after fine work from Wes Hoolahan, and Norwich take the lead early on! It's a fine start for the hosts, who take a deserved lead.
    • 14' It's all Norwich at the moment, and Wigan are very much under the cosh early on.
    • 13' Bassong and Turner combine very effectively at the back as Norwich build patiently with Wigan on the back foot.
    • 12' STAT: Wigan have scored just two goals in their last six Premier League away trips.
    • 11' A raking diagonal ball from Beausejour almost picks out McCarthy, but Martinez is imploring his side to get the ball down and pass it around.
    • 10' Bunn lumps a long ball upfield towards Holt, who takes the ball down into his stride, before losing it to Lopez.
    • 9' Norwich are beginning to settle and to dictate the play from midfield, and Martinez is already concerned with his side's lack of possession.
    • 8' Alex Tettey drives a fierce strike narrowly wide of the far post with Al Habsi scrambling across his line.
    • 7' STAT: Wes Hoolahan scored a first half goal in both league meetings against the Latics last season.
    • 6' Hoolahan brings a high ball down on halfway with a sublime touch, before dinking the ball towards Holt, who cannot quite latch on to the pass.
    • 5' Arouna Kone is already causing havoc as he drifts in behind the Norwich defence, and his pace is certainly a concern for the hosts.
    • 4' McCarthy does well to head clear under pressure from inside the Wigan box as Pilkington's delivery is whipped over.
    • 3' Norwich win a free kick out on the left flank, and Snodgrass and Pilkington - who is finally back on the pitch - stand over it...
    • 2' In almost farcical fashion, Anthony Pilkington goes straight off the pitch to change his boots! Ridiculous, frankly.
    • 1' The first half is under way, and both sides are wearing their traditional home colours as Wigan pass the ball around at the back.
    • 14:55 Right, we're just five minutes from kick off now at Carrow Road as the players emerge from the tunnel to a rapturous reception.
    • 14:50 In-form Norwich are the 5/4 favourites with the satchel swingers this afternoon, with Wigan 21/10 and the draw 12/5. What is your prediction for the full-time scoreline, and what do you make of the two line-ups? You can get in touch via Twitter
    • 14:45 The referee for this afternoon's clash is Lee Probert. It's a sunny day in Norwich, despite the very cold conditions.
    • 14:40 After this afternoon's match, Wigan take on Arsenal at home, before trips to Everton and Aston Villa to end the year. Norwich follow this match with a trip to West Brom, before home clashes with Chelsea and Manchester City to round off 2012.
    • 14:35 STAT: Three of the four league meetings between Norwich and Wigan have ended as 1-1 draws, including both times they have played each other in the Premier League.
    • 14:30 This is what Chris Hughton had to say about the Latics in midweek: "Wigan are a very good side and sometimes the circumstances are that you find yourself in a place in the league which you might feel is a false position. It certainly surprises me a bit where they are at the moment. We know every match is going to be difficult for us, and also we know what we need to put in to get a result."
    • 14:25 Norwich remain one of the form sides in the Premier League - second only to leaders Manchester United, with their last defeat at Chelsea back on October 6 and having recorded four successive victories at Carrow Road.
    • 14:20 It has been a poor patch of form for Wigan, who have only recorded one win in their last six Premier League meetings, but Roberto Martinez's side will be desperate to arrest that slump and haul themselves out of the relegation zone this afternoon.
    • 14:15 Wes Hoolahan, who scored in both meetings between these two sides last season, is passed fit for today's clash, as well as the in-form Alex Tettey. Full-back Steven Whittaker also makes the side after being assessed.
    • 14:10 The teams are in - Norwich: Bunn, Whittaker, Bassong, Turner, Garrido, Pilkington, Johnson, Howson, Snodgrass, Hoolahan, Holt. Subs: Rudd, R. Martin, Howson, Jackson, Morison, E. Bennett, Barnett. Wigan: Al Habsi, Kone, McCarthy, Gomez, McArthur, Boyce, Boselli, Beausejour, Stam, Lopez, Figueroa. Subs: Pollitt, Jones, Di Santo, Maloney, McManaman, Fyvie Golobart.
    • 14:05 Norwich come into the match in 12th place in the table with 22 points on the board, but Wigan are sitting less securely in 18th with seven fewer points. Premier League table

If you actually watched Wigans games of late youd see how they have battered teams and looked like scoring many goals but individual errors at the back are costing them. Norwich would be in the bottom three if you were playing Midfielders at the back a long with a players who have played twice in the premier league before.
