    • 90+4' FULL TIME. Southampton escape the bottom three as Arsenal's winning streak comes to an end. A shocking performance from Wenger's side.
    • 90+3' Vermaelen wastes the chance for a quick break when he cedes possession.
    • 90+2' Both sides want a winner now but you will be shocked to hear that decent chances are few and far between.
    • 90+1' We will have three added minutes - can Arsenal finally muster something?
    • 90' Arsenal play in Gibbs to the left of the box but Yoshida makes a crucial intervention to clear his cross behind for a corner.
    • 88' Southampton go close! Puncheon works space in the box and rifles his shot straight at Szczesny, who beats the ball away.
    • 87' Boruc claims the ball in the air just as Arsenal threaten from a cross. He has improved since that terrible opening, but in truth he has hardly been tested.
    • 86' De Ridder goes into the book for knocking Sagna to the ground.
    • 85' Puncheon gets a meek shot away as Szczesny gathers for Arsenal.
    • 84' Gervinho goes close! The winger cuts in from the left and hammers a low effort into the side netting. A very decent attempt.
    • 83' Steve De Ridder replaces Guly in the home attack.
    • 82' Arsenal have eight minutes to find a bit of inspiration and grab a goal if their winning streak is to continue.
    • 81' Rodriguez hits the byline but his cut-back is smothered by Szczesny.
    • 80' Walcott races into space in the box and his cross is cleared out to Arteta, who slams his first-time shot about a yard wide of the post. Decent hit.
    • 78' Szczesny with a strong punch to clear from a Southampton corner and Gervinho fails to get free on the break. Now he falls over. Typical Gervinho really.
    • 77' A change for Saints as Ramirez is replaced by James Ward-Prowse.
    • 76' Ah. It is not being suggested that Ramirez was punished not for being offside but for a push on Koscielny. Actually that looks the right decision.
    • 75' Taking off Cazorla is a brave move. And why isn't Tomas Rosicky given a chance?
    • 75' Arsenal make a double change as Cazorla and the Ox are replaced by Aaron Ramsey and Gervinho.
    • 74' A change for Saints as Jay Rodriguez comes on for Lambert in attack.
    • 72' Arsenal were very fortunate to get away with that. It was a horrible decision.
    • 71' Ramirez takes the ball down on his chest, spins and volleys the ball past Szczesny, only to be ruled offside. He is furious - and rightly so. Replays show he was miles on.
    • 70' Arsenal's first shot on target! Walcott finds space to the right of the box and hammers his shot down the throat of Boruc.
    • 70' Ramirez takes the ball off the toes of Puncheon but then wastes it with a poor pass for Lambert, who hadn't made the run the Uruguayan anticipated.
    • 69' Arsenal have still not had a single shot on target. That's borderline disgraceful.
    • 68' Sagna produces a poor cross from the right as he floats the ball into the arms of Boruc. He has had a very poor game so far.
    • 67' Southampton win a free-kick in a central position and Ramirez curls in a dangerous one that bounces before Szczesny clasps it at his near post.
    • 66' Nicely worked from Southampton and a procession of passes ends when Ramirez takes aim from 20 yards and thumps his shot over the bar.
    • 65' Davis holds onto the ball in the box and prods a pass wide to Puncheon. He takes a touch or two before drilling a low shot into the side netting from a tight angle.
    • 63' Schneiderlin chops down Cazorla with a clumsy challenge. A yellow card all day long.
    • 62' Schneiderlin pumps in a cross from the right and Szczesny blocks it, with Lambert unable to hoover up the rebound as he slips at the crucial moment.
    • 61' Fair to say the Walcott experiment didn't work today. That's two hits and two misses by my calculations since moving into attack.
    • 59' Podolski was having a torrid time of things and was also partly responsible for conceding the goal. Not his finest hour.
    • 58' A change for Arsenal as the ineffective Podolski is replaced by Olivier Giroud. That means Walcott going right and the Ox left.
    • 57' Walcott cuts inside onto his right boot and gets a weak effort away as he is surrounded by Southampton shirts.
    • 56' The corner comes in from the left and strikes Sagna on the knee, forcing Szczesny into a fine reaction stop to prevent a second own goal of the evening.
    • 55' Koscielny can only turn a Lambert cross into the path of Guly and he spins around to fire in a great effort that Szczesny has to turn round the post.
    • 53' For a second it looks as though makeshift right-back Jack Cork has latched onto a pass to get in behind the Arsenal defence but he too is offside.
    • 52' Lambert hares after a ball into the left channel but is caught offside. A tentative start to the second half here.
    • 51' Ramirez challenges for a high ball with his boot and catches Wilshere in the face. He needs a bit of treatment on the sidelines.
    • 50' Cazorla tries to play in Podolski to the left but puts a bit too much on it and the ball rolls out of play.
    • 49' Stat from Infostrada: "Last month, Arsenal scored 10 PL goals in the second half, while Southampton netted two."
    • 48' Oxlade-Chamberlain makes a dart for the byline and dinks in a cross but it lands on the roof of the net.
    • 47' Another bout of unconvincing defending from Arsenal but they get away with it as Szczesny comes off his line to grab the ball.
    • 46' KICK OFF! No changes from either side.
    • 45+1' HALF TIME. Guly's own goal means Arsenal are level at 1-1, but it's been a poor performance from the Gunners.
    • 45+1' We will have one added minute.
    • 45' Walcott has the ball in the back of the net but is correctly ruled offside. Ironic cheers from his former supporters.
    • 44' Oxlade-Chamberlain whips a dangerous low ball across the face of goal just seconds after Southampton threaten with a cross of their own.
    • 42' A completely undeserved equaliser, that, but Arsenal will take it.
    • 41' GOAL! Southampton 1-1 Arsenal! It's an own goal from Guly as he turns the ball into his own net from a Walcott free-kick. The inswinger was a dangerous one and Guly extended his leg to put the ball past Boruc with his toe.
    • 40' Sagna with a cross from the right and Boruc claims it with ease. He has had such an easy ride since those two mistakes.
    • 39' Shambolic at the back when it really mattered and completely lacking in any kind of threat in attack: not a vintage display.
    • 37' Stat from Infostrada: "This is the first time Arsenal have conceded the opening goal of a PL match away from home since 3 November, when they lost 2-1 at Man Utd. "
    • 36' Well, they scored seven at home to Newcastle but Arsenal are struggling to muster anything approaching a decent chance at the moment. As things stand they will be six points behind Spurs and five behind Chelsea.
    • 35' That really was terrible on Sagna's part, but Arsenal had multiple chances to clear. It's been a horrid half of football for the visitors.
    • 34' GOAL! Southampton 1-0 Arsenal! Ramirez gets the goal as Arsenal are punished for some terrible defending. Sagna produced a mis-kick to give the ball to Puncheon in the box and when he is tackled, the playmaker sweeps up with a fine finish to beat Szczesny.
    • 34' This is a poor performance from Arsenal now. They need to pull their fingers out, or bring on Giroud at half-time.
    • 33' Guly tries to run at the heart of the Arsenal defence and makes good ground before Sagna extends a leg to bring his assault to a halt. Good defending.
    • 32' There has been a real lack of chances and now Cazorla looks annoyed as Sagna messes up a pass to the Spaniard. Arsenal should have tested Boruc more by this point.
    • 30' Ramirez tries to burst through the Arsenal defence and into the box and while Laurent Koscielny sticks out a leg he subsequently withdraws it.
    • 29' Wilshere gives the lino on the opposite side of the pitch a hearty round of applause after he spots Lambert has drifted offside. Very kind of the midfielder, that.
    • 28' Arteta plays in Sagna to the right of the box but despite having acres of space his cross is cut out. The linesman then raises his flag for offside.
    • 26' Southampton get the ball away from the corner and Morgan Schneiderlin hoofs it downfield where Jason Puncheon is waiting in the right channel to put Kieran Gibbs under pressure and win a throw. Nothing comes of it though.
    • 25' Arsenal win a corner on the right...
    • 24' It can't just be me who thinks Arsenal are a far better attacking prospect with Olivier Giroud as the striker? He offers so much more to the team.
    • 23' Walcott has had one touch of the ball so far.
    • 22' Wilshere is holding a rather sensitive area of his anatomy as he hobbles off the pitch - but now he comes back on.
    • 21' Wilshere goes down after a strong challenge from Ramirez, who pushed the Arsenal man to the floor. He needs treatment and appears to have hurt his groin.
    • 20' Walcott has hardly had a touch so far. Not quite the performance he would have been hoping for against his former club.
    • 19' Stat from Infostrada: "These clubs have received the fewest yellow cards this PL season, Arsenal have 19 and Southampton 17."
    • 18' Guly curls in a dangerous cross from the right wing but Arsenal clear. Better from Southampton.
    • 17' Lambert unleashes from outside the box but his firm drive cannons into Vermaelen.
    • 16' It has been a pretty open game in midfield but Southampton are yet to create a chance and the only time Arsenal have looked dangerous is when Boruc has been dropping clangers.
    • 15' Stat from Infostrada: "Jack Wilshere celebrates his 21st birthday today. The last Arsenal player to score on his birthday was Yossi Benayoun, on 5 May 2012 (3-3 draw against Norwich)."
    • 14' Good defending from Vermaelen as he comes across to clean up with a firm tackle after Lambert touches the ball through.
    • 13' Cazorla orchestrates a fine move that culminates with Podolski having a low shot blocked in the box. The Spaniard looks in fine shape this evening.
    • 12' Ramirez again probes with intent but Mikel Arteta muscles him off the ball and he goes down rather too easily 20 yards from goal. No free-kick.
    • 11' Podolski clips a cross in from the left after being played in by Cazorla but Shaw is alert and heads away just as Walcott steams in to meet it with a header.
    • 10' Davis plays a quick pass into Ramirez and the playmaker produces a gorgeous cushioned pass through for Rickie Lambert. However, Szczesny is off his line quickly to smother the ball.
    • 8' Arsenal get away with one as Thomas Vermaelen gives Maya Yoshida a kick from behind and fails to get the ball, connecting with only the man - and in a sensitive area at that. Could have been a penalty.
    • 7' The corner comes in from Wilshere and he catches this one, to a chorus of ironic cheers. A quick throw gives Southampton the initiative and now they win a corner through Ramirez.
    • 6' Cazorla is really finding his feet now and sprays the ball wide to the right. The cross comes in and Boruc fumbles again! He has been awful so far.
    • 5' Santi Cazorla comes alive for the first time and exchanges clever passes with Jack Wilshere. His shot is deflected behind and from the corner Boruc fumbles the ball - but Southampton are not punished for the error.
    • 4' Ouch. Sagna and Steven Davis are involved in a clash of heads. They were both going for the ball and it looked a painful one. They are both fine to continue though.
    • 4' Now Oxlade-Chamberlain tries to bypass Shaw with a pass around the corner for Bacary Sagna but the pass has too much on it and rolls out of play.
    • 3' Oxlade-Chamberlain tries to dart past Shaw at left-back but the youngster is alert to the danger and makes an important tackle.
    • 2' Arsenal dominating possession as you would probably expect in these opening minutes. Everyone's getting a touch of the ball.
    • 1' KICK OFF! Arsenal shooting left to right in their change kit of purple hoops. Yeah, that one.
