    • 90+3 And that's it from St Mary's. A horredous afternoon for the Saints as West Brom pass their record Premier League points haul.
    • 90+2 Southampton have had 69% of possession this half – incredible, but they haven't been as fluid as we have come to expect.
    • 90+1 Three minutes of added time.
    • 90' This probably has to be the Saints worst performance under Pochettino – they are still on 39 points but it is unlikely that they will be dragged into the relegation mire, but this has been a desperate performance.
    • 88' Rosenberg for Long – great performance full of running and industry from the Irishman.
    • 87' West Brom are fully deserving of this result - they have put in a supreme away performance.
    • 86' Fonte for Lambert, who has been kept surprisingly quiet.
    • 85' Lukaku withdrawn for Thomas.
    • 83' This has been a disastrous afternoon for the Saints. Rodriguez has a stinging effort that is always rising.
    • 82' Incredible scenes. Another red. Fox goes in two-footed and it is a red. Could have broken Reid’s leg there.
    • 81' Lambert has a free-kick from the edge whistle past the post. Foster was stuck fast there.
    • 80' Jones for Morrison.
    • 79' What an away day performance from the men from the Midlands.
    • 77' GOOAL!! Incredible. 3-0. Lukaku takes the ball on the chest, evades the attentions of Yoshida and slips a ball in behind for Long, who remains composed to slot the ball under the advancing Boruc.
    • 77' West Brom have settled now and they look like they won’t lose it from here.
    • 75' Lukaku bests Clyne in the corner before squaring for Morrison but Schneiderlin had tracked him all the way to block.
    • 73' The Saints have reacted better to the shock of the double red. They have a corner and Lambert finds himself in space on the edge but lifts it back across and West Brom clear. They break at speed.
    • 72' Davis, having been found by Lambert, lifts an effort high and wide from the edge of the box and he should have done better there.
    • - Lallana had made way for Mayuka in amongst the red card mayhem.
    • 70' Double red. Ramírez and Fortune. Ramírez for an elbow into Long’s face. Fortune slapped Ramírez in response. Incredible.
    • 69' It has all kicked off as Ramírez fouls Long.
    • 68 Looks as though Southampton are to make a substitute in response.
    • 67' GOOOOAL!! But just like that it is two. Fortune picks out Lukaku on the shoulder of the last defender who breaks past the right-back Clyne, rounds Boruc and doubles the advantage.
    • 65' The Saints are really pinning their visitors back now.
    • 63' Ramírez with a little bit of a flare up with Yacob as he looks to take the free-kick quickly.
    • 62' Getting a bit feisty out there now. Ridgewell is late on Ramírez and is in the book after originally ignoring the referee's calls.
    • 61' West Brom defend it well.
    • 60' Clyne is again in behind but Ridgewell does well to get to the ball first – throw deep in West Brom territory.
    • 58' The Saints work the ball well to Fox but his cross is far too deep.
    • 57' The hosts certainly having the better of the second half but they need to create a little more as they get forward.
    • 56' Clyne, back at the other end, manages to get to the ball ahead of Long who reacts by fouling the former Palace man.
    • 55' Clyne is found in behind the West Brom defence and from an outrageously tight angle the right-back strikes the upright – almost crept in.
    • 53' The free-kick is launched long to Long but it has too much on it and dribbles out for a goal-kick.
    • 52' Fox hauls back Lukaku as the young Belgian skips past him. The defender is in the book.
    • 51' A little bit of a scrappy start to the second half here.
    • 50' Dorrans evades a challenge or two before finding Lukaku, who beats his man and crosses to the far post but there is no one in close quarters.
    • 48' Ramírez takes a decent first touch but his drive as he charges towards goal is always rising.
    • 46' West Brom get the game back underway.
    • - Ramírez for Cork for the hosts.
    • 45+2 And that's it from the first half.
    • 45+1 Long finds Lukaku inside the box but his half-volley is tame and Boruc again claims with relative ease.
    • 45' Dorrans drifts a corner into the box and McAuley rises well to head on goal but Boruc claims.
    • 44' West Brom will be very happy with their performance thus far but expect a vastly improved Southampton performance come the second half.
    • 43' Very high intensity match considering both sides are relatively safe with little chance of making Europe.
    • 41' Long leads another sprightly break and he cuts in but his shot from fully thirty yards is wild and over.
    • 40' Lallana, this time on the left, does well to work some space and crosses but Rodriguez, attempting to turn it on goal, takes it away from the arriving Davis.
    • 39' The Saints concede another corner but this time they deal with it well. Yacob is a little over-zealous in his attempts to retrieve the ball and he concedes a free-kick to relieve the pressure.
    • 38' Lambert has been handled well thus far as he is ushered off the ball by a gaggle of visiting defenders.
    • 37' Southampton made a good fist of getting back into this one following that concession of the opener but West Brom have responded well and they are looking comfortable.
    • 36' Some lovely footwork from Dorrans culminates in Ridgewell swinging the ball over to the far post but Long was in an offside position – poor from the Irishman there as he was looking along the line.
    • 35' Lambert gets it up and over the wall but he just can’t get enough curl on it to threaten the goal of Foster.
    • 34' Lambert is over the kick some thirty yards out and right of centre.
    • 33' Rodriguez leads a break but is dragged back twice by Yacob. Yellow.
    • 32' Rodriguez heads a looping effort that has Foster concerned but he claims under pressure from Lallana.
    • 31' Lambert thrashes a ball across the box that evades both Rodriguez and Lallana. Clyne collects on the edge and draws a fine save from Foster. Corner.
    • 30' McAuley almost scores an own goal as he looks to put the ball behind with Lambert in close quarters. The corner is cleared easily enough.
    • 28' The deep set-piece to the far post finds Olsson and he looks to put it back across goal with Lukaku lurking but he has just too much on it.
    • 26' Fortune gets wrong side of Hooiveld, who hauls him back. Free-kick and yellow but the visitors are disappointed with that as the forward was away.
    • 25' West Brom spring a break. Lukaku finds Long with a run on Clyne but the right-back just manages to get to the ball to concede a corner. The deep cross comes off Olsson for a goal-kick.
    • 24' Brilliant deep inswinger of a corner from Fox but McAuley manages to get a head to it under some pressure from Lambert.
    • 23' If West Brom hold on for the win then they will surpass their record Premier League points haul.
    • 22' Lallana and Clyne combine well but Ridgewell intervenes to clear.
    • 21' A loose West Brom clearance falls to Fox on the edge but his shot is high and wide. The travelling faithful of 3000 cheer and jeer as it whistles past them.
    • 20' Fox’s cross is cleared and Schneiderlin does well to pick up the loose ball. It is worked wide again and the ball is swept into the box but the visitors clear. They have dealt well with those crosses thus far.
    • 19' Lallana wins a corner for the home side as he continues to get time and space down the right.
    • 18' Second big chance for Lukaku. Some lovely passing from the visitors culminates in Long finding Lukaku in space in the box. He again opens his body but Boruc reads it to save low down.
    • 17' Rodriguez rises highest on the penalty spot to head at goal. It loops up but has Foster scrambling as the ball drops on to the roof of the net.
    • 15' Lallana continues to threaten down the Southampton right and he finds Davis, who again looks for Lambert. The ball is fractionally behind the forward and while he gets to the ball his header is high and wild.
    • 13' Dorrans goes a fraction too soon now.
    • 12' Lallana thrashes a ball across the box that Olsson stoops to clear. The ball is worked back for Davis who looks for Lambert at the far post but the forward is just offside.
    • 11' The Saint have responded well here as Davis continues to probe in midfield. The Baggies are pinned back now.
    • 10' Olsson blocks a Schneiderlin drive for a throw – that was in serious contention of threatening the score-line.
    • 8' That’s the 18th goal Southampton have conceded from a set-piece situation.
    • 6' GOAL. Fortune. It is a scrappy one but they all count. Lukaku does well to win a header from the corner and Fortune turns inside the six yard box and pokes at goal. Boruc does well to save but can’t prevent Fortune from turning the rebound in.
    • 6' Lukaku is in behind Hooiveld and Boruc does incredibly well to save at his feet. Corner.
    • 5' Boruc does well to punch clear the corner under some considerable pressure.
    • 4' West Brom win an early corner.
    • 3' Rodriguez looks to make the most of an over-hit pass from Davis and he looks like he does well to knock the ball off the defender but a goal kick is given.
    • 2' Foster does well to claim a low cross as the home side make a purposeful start.
    • 1' The hosts get the game underway.
    • 14:55 Today's referee is Robert Madley - a Premier League refereeing debut.
    • 14:50 MATCH ODDS: Southampton 17/20, West Brom 18/5, draw 11/4.
    • 14:45 Steve Clarke on the future of on-loan Romelu Lukaku: “Romelu is here for a year’s loan - he is Chelsea’s player. He is contracted (with Albion) until the end of June, will go back to Chelsea for pre-season and I’m 99 per cent sure he will do pre-season with Chelsea and they will decide whether they want to let him out for another season."
    • 14:40 Mauricio Pochettino sees a promising future for the club. Her he is on Southampton one day qualifying for the Champions League: "Why in a couple of years? It might be next year. I think in football if you have to be something, you have to be optimistic — why not dream of big achievements, big goals? We are an ambitious club and we have a clear way of how we want to proceed and the type of football we want to be playing, where there are means of getting that done."
    • 14:35 West Brom made a tremendous start to the season but have had a turbulent New Year. In fact, if the season started on New Year’s Day, the Baggies would be in the bottom three. Despite that, they lie eighth in the table and if they maintain that positioning it will be their highest placed finish since 1981.
    • 14:30 This time two years ago the Saints were playing in League One, and, having lost their opening four games of the Premier League season, it is an absolute credit to this squad that they are all but safe going in to the final few games of the season.
    • 14:25 Teams news: West Brom are without captain Chris Brunt. The Northern Ireland midfielder picked up a knee injury in the draw with Newcastle, but defender Billy Jones is fit enough to make the bench despite suffering a gash to his leg in that game. Peter Odemwingie is fit again after a knee problem while midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu serves the final game of a three-match suspension.
    • 14:20 Teams news: Mauricio Pochettino had an almost fully-fit squad to choose from. Only midfielder James Ward-Prowse, who suffered a knock in an Under-21 fixture against the Baggies earlier in the week, is out. Forward Guly do Prado returns to the squad after missing the trip to Swansea through illness, but full-back Luke Shaw is not in the squad despite having declared himself fit.
    • 14:15 TEAMS: Southampton: Boruc, Clyne, Yoshida, Hooiveld, Fox, Schneiderlin, Cork, S. Davis, Rodriguez, Lallana, Lambert. Subs: K. Davis, Fonte, Ramírez, Forren, Guly, Mayuka, Puncheon /// West Brom: Foster; Reid, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell; Yacob, Dorrans; Fortune, Morrison, Lukaku; Long.
