    • 45+1' Demblele skips two challenges and lets fly from range but his effort is way off target. Frustration already beginning to show on the home side's faces.
    • 45' Bale with his first real run down the left wing and he puts in a great cross. Shame for Spurs it's only Lennon in the area to try and attack it!
    • 44' Walker plays the set piece cleverly to the feet of Defoe, but the striker has to turn to face goal and that allows his marker to clear the ball.
    • 43' Sigurdsson is fouled by Granero aout five metres inside the QPR half. Can Spurs get something from the free-kick.

    • 29' Hughes looks on nervously from the dugout, but Hoilett should be fine to continue.
    • 28' Vertonghen and Hoilett clash knees as they both go in for a 50/50 challenge. Vertonghen walks away from it, but Hoilett is still on the floor being treated.
    • 27' All five of the goals Tottenham have conceded so far this season in the Premier League have come in the second half.
    • 26' The Tottenham fans respond by turning up the volume on their chants, and keep going when their team win the ball back.
    • 25' This is a good spell of possession for QPR, who do look comfortable when they have the ball.
    • 24' Yet another QPR corner. This time it's an outswinger from Shaun Wright-Phillips which Nelsen heads off target.
    • 22' Since the start of last season, referee Phil Dowd has awarded the joint-most penalties of any official in the top flight (13 along with Mike Dean).
    • 21' Dyer looks up and makes the pass forward for Hoilett, who is clearly offside.
    • 20' Bale nudges the ball sideways for Vertonghen to strike, but the shot canons off the wall.
    • 19' Great skill from Dembele now and he is brought down by Alejandro Faurlin. Spurs have a free-kick in a promising area here. Bale and Vertonghen lurking around the dead ball...
    • 18' Neat football from Walker as he tries to work some space for a cross off Park, but Onuoha is on hand to help out his team-mate.
    • 17' Lennong drops the shoulder as he ghosts past Granero on the wing. The referee blows for the foul but keeps his cards in his pocket on this occasion.
    • 16' Spurs have a corner now. Bale whips it to the far post where Dyer gets it clear. Interesting that Bale is taking the corners even when they are on the other side of the pitch.
    • 15' The QPR corner bounces right in the middle of the six-yard area but somehow no one gets a touch on it.
    • 14' Hoilett turns and takes the ball on his chest inside the box and unleashes a well struck volley that Friedel saves well!
    • 13' Jan Vertonghen heads Granero's corner away and Spurs make hard work of clearing the danger.
    • 12' This is Junior Hoilett's sixth career game against Spurs. He's lost all of the previous five. Still, he forces Walker into conceding a corner now.
    • 11' Dembele gets away from Esteban Granero with a nice bit of skill and is fouled as he moves up the field. He takes the free-kick quickly and play moves across to Walker, whose floated cross goes harmlessly out of play.
    • 10' Clint Dempsey, Dembele and sigurdsson all involved before to latter zips a lovely ball to the feet of Defoe on the edge of the box. The striker shoots, as he always does, but this effort is wide of the near post.
    • 9' Bale takes the corner, which is headed away by former Spurs defender Ryan Nelsen.
    • 8' Gareth Bale sends a lovely diagonal pass across to Aaron Lennon. The cross is blocked by Nedum Onuoha for a corner.
    • 7' Moussa Dembele pings the ball across the pitch to Kyle Walker. Spurs setting the tone in the first few minutes of this derby.
    • 6' Mark Hughes has enjoyed just two wins in 14 Premier League games as a coach against Tottenham (W2 D5 L7), but one of those wins was his only outing as QPR’s manager against Spurs back in April this year.
    • 5' QPR have the first corner of the game. Hill guides his header towards the far top corner but Brad Friedel makes a great save! That's why he has kept his place in the team despite the summer arrival of France No.1 Hugo Lloris.
    • 3' QPR substitution: Kieron Dyer replaces Jose Bosingwa.
    • 2' Park Ji-Sung is stopped in his tracks by Sandro on the edge of the Spurs box and the home side can break. Aaron Lennon zips up the pitch and cuts the ball back for Jermain Defoe. The ball breaks free and Gylfi Sigurdsson goes to shoot but hits the deck! He wants a penalty of Clint Hill, but referee Phil Dowd is rightly not convinced.
    • 1' QPR get us underway at White Hart Lane!
    • 15:59 Keith Broad (@keefeebee64): "Watching Spurs against Lazio, if they can bring that form into todays game then they should win!"
    • 15:58 The teams are out on the pitch now, cordially shaking hands. We'll be underway in moments...
    • 15:55 Can Spurs get that elusive first home win under AVB? Is QPR's winless run coming to an end? Tweet your thoughts and predictions to @Tony_Mabert Follow here
    • 15:50 Mark Hughes: “I’ve got a huge regard for Mousa (Dembele). He’s an outstanding player and now he’s at a club which - no disrespect to Fulham – has a higher profile, he’s getting a lot more attention. I always knew that when he came to the Premier League he would make an immediate impact. He’s technically very accomplished; he is able to play a number of positions. That’s the quality of the player we are talking about. I knew almost immediately when he went to Tottenham he would be a success."
    • 15:45 Andre Villas-Boas: “We have to be very careful because QPR’s position doesn’t reflect the team they can be, where they can finish. They made tremendous changes in the summer window and brought big players from throughout the world, former European champions who can bring something to the Premier League. I expect a difficult game and hopefully we can repay our fans with a first home win.”
    • 15:40 Spurs then name a strong side after their Europa League exertions on Thursday - and Lloris returns to the bench after his debut against Lazio. Only three out-and-out defenders in that line-up, so it could well be that Bale returns to left-back. Plenty of attacking firepower from AVB - that's for certain. QPR welcome back Diakite to the bench after all after his personal problems.
    • 15:35 TOTTENHAM: Friedel, Walker, Gallas, Vertonghen, Bale, Sandro, Dembele, Sigurdsson, Dempsey, Lennon, Defoe - Subs - Lloris, Caulker, Dawson, Huddlestone, Faque, Mason, Townsend /// QPR: Julio Cesar, Bosingwa, Onuoha, Nelsen, Hill, Granero, Faurlin, Wright-Philips, Hoilett, Park, Zamora - Subs - Green, Diakite, Derry, Cisse, Mackie, Dyer, Ehmer
    • 15:30 There are other games in action today in the Premier League - Newcastle v Norwich began half an hour ago, while Liverpool v Manchester United has just finished at Anfield. Latest
    • 15:25 TEAM NEWS: QPR have a number of injury worries to contend with. The West Londoners’ defence will be without Anton Ferdinand, Fabio (both hamstring), Stephane Mbia (groin) and Armand Traore (leg) for the White Hart Lane clash. Adel Taarabt is a doubt after picking up a hamstring injury in training, while Samba Diakite (personal reasons) and Andrew Johnson (anterior cruciate ligament) are unavailable.
    • 15:25 TEAM NEWS: Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas has to decide whether to recall Brad Friedel or stick with Hugo Lloris in goal for the game at QPR. Spurs will test striker Emmanuel Adebayor (hamstring) over the next 48 hours to see if he can play any part in the game while Villas-Boas expects Kyle Naughton to be fit despite the defender injuring his right foot against Lazio. Scott Parker (Achilles), Heurelho Gomes (ankle), Jake Livermore (groin), Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Younes Kaboul (both knee).
    • 15:20 Spurs got their first victory this season with a 3-1 triumph away at Reading this time a week ago. They sit 10th, while QPR, still winless after four games, remain mired in the relegation zone. Premier League table
