CHE
LEI
90+3'
Final whistle sounds! A 2-0 win for Chelsea. Comfortable in the end of Jose Mourinho's side.
89'
We are into three minutes of time added on.
88'
Willian forces Schmeichel to make a decent stop. Almost time up. Leicester will be happy to see the back of this match.
87'
Chelsea now up to 23 attempts on goal. All they need now is a Drogba goal to round off a fairly impressive second-half performance.
86'
Courtois is off his line quickly to grasp the high ball from De Laet. Right idea, but couldn't pick out the head of a compatriot. Looks like a win for Chelsea here.

85 - Fabregas free kick towards the far post is headed just over by Ivanovic. #CheLei

Leicester City Substitution

84- Third and final #lcfc substitution - Chris Wood on; Leo Ulloa off. #CheLei

83'
Taylor-Fletcher given the slip by Fabregas before deciding to foul Fabregas.

83 - Decent move left to right from #lcfc ends in an Albrighton shot that Courtois does well to hold on to. #CheLei

81'
A strong, rampaging shot by Albrighton into the arms of Courtois. Plenty of energy on the ball, but lacked the direction.
80'
Leicester paying a heavy price for failing to cut open this Chelsea side when the chances presented themselves. But this is the gulf in class they have to bridge.
Chelsea Substitution
79'
Ramires keeping the ball well. Chelsea are unbeaten in all 13 previous Premier League home matches where Eden Hazard has scored (11 wins).
78'

Drogba emerges from the bench to replace Diego Costa. Roman Abramovich is loving this moment.
77'
Didier Drogba getting ready to come on for the home side as Ramires sends a shot over the bar from 22 yards.
Chelsea Goal

Right Footed - Bottom Center

76'
A 2-0 lead for Chelsea as Willian sends a shot straight into the arms of Kasper Schmeichel. Leicester don't want to ship any more goals here.
75'

GOAL! Hazard with the second goal for the home side. Under De Laet, and then under the body of Kasper Schmeichel. 2-0, and it is game over.
74'
Ivanovic makes a brilliant run up the park, but Costa couldn't come up with the final pass. Poor stuff from him.
73'

Gary Taylor-Fletcher is going to replace Hammond, who seems to have pulled a muscle.
Leicester City Substitution
72'
Maybe not cramp for Hammond. Perhaps he has run his race for the day. Leicester down to 10 men at the moment.
71'
Hammond on the ground. Looks like he may have a spot of cramp. Chance for players to take on some water.
70'
The last time Chelsea lost to a promoted side at home in the PL was against Charlton Athletic on 21 April 2001, (1-0), 39 matches (W34-D5).
Chelsea Substitution
69'

Change for the home side as Willian arrives to replace fellow Brazilian Oscar.
68'
Matic working well with Costa. He plays in Hazard, but the shot straight down the neck of Kasper Schmeichel.
Leicester City Substitution
67'

Change coming for the visiting side as Riyad Mahrez is replaced by Marc Albrighton.
66'
Oscar deemed to be guilty of foul play for bringing down Hammond. Can have few complaints about that call.
65'
Riyad Mahrez can't elude several Chelsea shirts out wide as the home team regain possession.
64'
Diego Costa gets his second PL goal in his second Premier League match for Chelsea – the last Chelsea player to score in both his first two league matches for the club was Deco. He netted in the first two matches of the 2008/09 season (4-0 win vs Portsmouth, 1-0 win vs Wigan Athletic).
Chelsea Substitution
63'
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich looks happy enough with his lot. Has not been straightforward. A goal on his debut for Diego Costa.
62'

GOAL! Costa slides the ball into the net. Chelsea lead 1-0. Oscar's pass to Ivanovic. Bit of a scramble, but Costa reacts quickest. Home side move ahead.
Chelsea Goal

Right Footed - Bottom Center

61'
Home and away, Leicester have failed to keep a clean sheet for nine PL matches. They themselves have scored in their last five.
60'
Diego Costa just failing to land on the cross by Schürrle. Some more superb play by Moore at the heart of that Leicester defence.
59'
Moore with another superb block for Leicester after Schürrle unloaded an effort. And on we go. A goal surely on the way one would suspect.
58'
Chelsea have not won their last two PL home matches. The only time they failed to win three consecutive league home matches under Mourinho was in May 2007.
57'
This game has suddenly come to life. Ivanovic picks out Fabergas, but his chipped attempt is clawed over by Schmeichel.

55 - Chance! Mahrez puts Nugent in one-on-one, but Courtois gets a touch to divert it wide. #CheLei

55'
Schmeichel with a superb diving stop to deny Ivanovic. Wonderful save from the Leicester goalkeeper moments after Costa had appealed for a penalty.
54'
Chelsea on the break. Courtois to Hazard who picks out Schürrle, but he lifts the ball over the bar. Fine attempt.

52 - Quick break from City sees Nugent shoot left footed. It takes a deflection and Courtois saves with his legs. #CheLei

52'
Hammond on the break for the visiting side. Nice little move, but Nugent's shot is driven straight at Courtois.
51'

Hammond with a poor challenge on Schürrle, who is going to need some treatment. A booking for Hammond.
50'
Much, much better this from Chelsea. Sharper and performing with a greater urgency at the outset of this second period.
49'
Schmeichel with a fine stop to prevent the Ivanovic header from finding the net with Azpilicueta coming up with a lovely delivery.
48'
Oscar sees a shot come back off the post with Schmeichel beaten. Fine effort, but Leicester survive
47'
Azpilicueta on the deck needing some treatment here. Chelsea fans will be looking for a bit more from their side in this second half.
46'
Leicester get the second period off and running.
45+1'
There goes the whislte for the break. Not too many clear-cut chances in this contest. Leicester will be happier with their lot so far.
45+1'
We are into one minute of time added on.
44'

André Schürrle this time caught offside. Just set off too soon from the Fabregas pass.
43'
King lifts a cross straight into the arms of Courtois. All too easy for the Chelsea goalkeeper.
42'
Moore with a header out after some terrific work by Hazard to get the ball across. Some superb skills by the Belgian playmaker.
40'
Leicester really being let down by their final ball. Championship quality so far in the Premier League. Which is disappointing for Nigel Pearson's men.

36 - Schlupp finds Mahrez in a brilliant position on the right, but he's muscled off it by Azpilicueta as he looks to shoot. #CheLei

38'
Diego Costa takes a tumble after a mazy run by Hazard. Leicester then look to break to the other end but Riyad Mahrez lifts the ball straight out of play. Poor delivery.
37'
Costa sees a shot deflect off Moore before flying over after being played in by Hazard. Better from Chelsea. Leicester almost cut wide open.
36'
Riyad Mahrez manages to give César Azpilicueta the slip, but he fails to get a shot in. Cuts back inside, but the Chelsea defender is back to make a fine stop.

32 - Schlupp follows it up with another long ranger that takes a slight deflection off a Chelsea man to whistle wide of the post #CheLei

Courtois saves well low down from a fierce Mahrez drive, Leicester on the front foot in these last five minutes. #CFCLive

33'
Leicester winning plenty of corners, but not really coming up with the goods. All very disappointing.
32'
Mahrez gives the visitors reason to remain confident with a good drive to sting the fingertips of Courtois.
30'
Jose Mourinho isn't looking particularly pleased. He has read Costa the riot act for mis-controlling earlier and also berated ref Lee Mason.
29'
Still all Chelsea. Cross from the left pinballs off two attacking heads and well off-target.
27'
Another sharp Chelsea burst forward and his cut-back is snuffed out by Konchesky, with the ref giving the goal kick as it comes off the Spaniard last.
25'
Remember you can keep up to speed with all of the scores for the 3pm kick-offs with our multiplex.
22'
John Terry with a fine tackle to win the ball from Ulloa. Had to get that spot, and did.
21'
De Laet holds a ball up to the back post looking for Nugent, but just too much pace on the delivery as it clears him by some margin.
20'
Schmeichel with the punch out of the danger area. Cahill sees a volley blocked by a few red shirts before Leicester look to break.
19'
Chelsea doing well to keep knocking this ball around before they finally earn a corner. Fabregas to deliver.
18'

Diego Costa well positioned to make the clearance before David Nugent is caught offside. A bit of slack play by Nugent to leave himself offside.
17'
De Laet with the cross to the back post looking for King, but Ivanovic does enough to clear. And Leicester have a corner.
16'
The Leicester manager Nigel Pearson looks content enough with his lot as Schmeichel hammers the ball long from his box.

A great delivery by Schurrle, who stands it up, narrowly evades the head of the advancing Oscar at the far post. #CFCLive

14'
Nugent almost with the chance to send King racing free, but not taken. Leicester looking dangerous enough on the break.

In the last few minutes Oscar has started to drop very deep in order to get on the ball and initiate the play. #CFCLive

12'
Leicester’s last win in this fixture came in February 2001 – former Chelsea player Muzzy Izzet and Gary Rowett scored for Peter Taylor’s side in their 2-1 home win. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink had equalised for Claudio Ranieri’s men.
11'
Chelsea keeping the ball well here. Knocking the passes around a lush surface before Costa swings a shot a few yards wide.

Schurrle is unlucky as he fires over; decent build-up play between Fabregas and Costa, positive from the Blues. #CFCLive

9'
Superb pass by Fabregas to find Costa who picks out André Schürrle, but his shot is lifted well over the bar from 22 yards. Couldn't keep the shot down.
8'
Late challenge by Nugent on Fabregas. Didn't really need to make that challenge.
7'
Cahill trying to get on the end of an Oscar cross, but couldn't get there as the visitors survive a hairy moment.
6'
Oscar carries the ball up the park. Clips the shot at goal, but it comes off a red shirt before spinning over the home goal.
5'
Mourinho out of his technical area with his hands in his pockets. Looking fairly relaxed. Leicester not coming here to defend.
4'
Nugent drives a cross in at pace, but over the head of Ulloa. No chance of getting on the end of that.
3'
André Schürrle with an early shot at the visiting goal, but he sees his effort blocked.
2'
Leonardo Ulloa is one goal short of 25 goals in league matches in England – he scored Leicester’s first goal of the PL campaign, against Everton last week.
1'
We are off and running at Stamford Bridge. Glorious playing surface for this one.
14:55
Almost ready to go then. Chelsea in blue, Leicester in red.
14:50
Drogba's name gets a huge reception when read out by Chelsea's announcer at Stamford Bridge. But he starts on the bench with Diego Costa (one goal, one game) leading the line for what looks a very fluid and impressive Chelsea team.
14:45
THE GAUNTLET HAS BEEN LAID DOWN! Aston Villa are top of the league after drawing with Newcastle in the early kick-off. Can Chelsea go back above them? Stick around to find out. What drama. And we are only two games into the new season.

In his programme notes Terry hails Lampard and Cole as "the best midfielder and left-back this club and country have ever seen" #cfc

14:40
While Stamford Bridge will enjoy the chance to look over new signings Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa, today is all about Didier Drogba in emotional terms, the striker ready to mark his return to the Premier League after a spell away from Chelsea. He should get a tremendous reception.
14:35
Some stats for you then: The Foxes have only ever won one of eight Premier League trips to Stamford Bridge (W1 D2 L5). Chelsea are top of the Premier League after the first matchday. None of the previous three instances (1999, 2008, 2010) have seen them go on to win the title. Chelsea have kept seven clean sheets in their last eight Premier League games at Stamford Bridge.

Drogba: "I can’t wait to get out on to the pitch & see all the fans, but most importantly to help us get 3 points." http://t.co/PLrbHepcBq

14:30
Nigel Pearson: "Chelsea at Stamford Bridge speaks for itself. Their record there is very good but we have to think of this as something of a bonus. Not many people give us much hope but we have a strong resolve. If we can be an awkward customer I'll be happy. I don't want us to just soak up pressure. We need to give each other enough options to maximise our offensive players. We have some threats. It will be a good opportunity for players to test themselves. We need a collective mind-set on the job in hand - the players have worked hard and it is important we do as well as we can."
14:25
Jose Mourinho on Petr Cech's place on the bench: "He's a top professional, working as always, he is a Chelsea person. I don't believe he's totally happy, but that's him. It's hard because at the moment it's one match a week. But in September there's the Capital One Cup, Champions League and Premier League, there will be rotation so everyone feels better. Petr's behaviour is fantastic."

At least, that was the impression given when Chelsea had raced into a 3-1 lead in the first half of their opening game against Burnley. Things petered out a bit in the second but it was something of a statement of intent. Unsurprisingly, Chelsea are unchanged today.
