The match is brought to an end. Liverpool blow a three-goal lead leave Selhurst Park with just a point. Thanks for joining us today.

Palace searching for a fourth. Gayle looks to grab his hat-trick, but fires wide from distance.

We'll have five minutes of added time at the end of this thrilling Premier League encounter.

GOAL!!!!! PALACE ARE LEVEL!!! Liverpool have blown a three goal lead, and could well have blown their title hopes. Gayle scores his second of the match after splitting Skrtel and Sakho to rifle past Mignolet from close range.

This is a very, very different match now. Palace have all of the momentum, and Liverpool look visibly shaken.
83'
Liverpool were hoping to add to their three goals and catch up with Man City's goal difference, but they'll just be grateful to wrap up this match now.
81'

GOAL!! Palace score a second in as many minutes. Following a break down in Liverpool’s attack, Bolasie breaks and is most certainly the right man to do so. He knocks the ball ahead of him, storming past every Liverpool player to reach the penalty area. He holds the ball up well before finding Gayle, who sidefoots past Mignolet from the penalty spot.

GOAL! Palace pull one back . Delaney finds some space 25 yards from goal, and, under no pressure at all, opts to fire at goal. His shot takes a massive deflection off Johnson and past Mignolet.

Liverpool make their first substitution of the evening as Sterling is replaced by Coutinho.
Liverpool Substitution
77'
Jedinak is now down in a heap as he looks to start a Palace attack. Sterling is the man covering, and leaves a foot in on the midfielder, tripping him in the process.
75'
CHANCE FOR LIVERPOOL’S FOURTH! Liverpool attack in numbers, Sturridge leading the line. He gets the better of Dikgacoi and then Delaney, and as two options queuing up for the ball inside the Palace box. He looks to find the onrushing Sterling, but the pass is behind the winger and the chance comes to an end.
74'
Ledley looks to cross from out wide, but his centre is mishit. It has Mignolet scrambling backwards, though, with the ball looking like it’s goalbound. The keeper breathes a sigh of relief as the ball drops harmlessly onto the roof of the net.
73'
Suarez has another moan at referee Clattenburg for not giving him a foul when he was clearly just outmuscled off the ball by Jedinak. The Uruguayan has still been lively this evening, but he’s definitely not his usual self.
72'
A superb interception from Delaney, who reads the play well, sliding on the edge of his area to cut out Gerrard’s pass.
71'

Glenn Murray replaces Marouane Chamakh for Crystal Palace. Just one more change available for Tony Pulis now.

The Palace fans continue to make noise. They’re in full voice and are aiming their quips at Steven Gerrard – joking about his slip in Liverpool’s loss to Chelsea. Pretty entertaining, though it’s a little too rude to write on here. Get on Twitter, if you’re interested…

Scott Dann, who is playing against his boyhood club this evening, goes into the book for a poor challenge on Lucas.

Sterling engineers a move down the left, skipping past a number of challenges as he approaches the Palace goal. Cutting inside, he then plays Sturridge through on goal. Unselfishly, the forward looks to find a teammate, but the ball is cleared.
66'
Nervy stuff from Sakho, who allows the ball to bounce on the edge of his box, almost allowing for Chamakh to run through on goal. Skrtel clears up before giving his teammate an earful. As we’ve witnessed for much of this season, the defender is not the greatest with the ball at his feet.

Palace make the first change of the evening as Dwight Gayle replaces Jason Puncheon.

Despite the scoreline and Liverpool’s obvious attempt at chasing down City’s goal difference, Palace are still sticking to their game plan; pressing high and looking to hurry their visitors.
58'
Suarez now tries an effort from distance. He's on the corner of the Palace box, and has options either side, but looks to find the far corner with a whipped effort. It flies some way over the bar. Liverpool in a hurry.
57'
Liverpool really have their tails up now. They’re chasing down City’s goal difference and are playing with a real confidence, committing men forward.

RT @OptaJoe: 28 - Daniel Sturridge has scored (21) or assisted (7) 28 goals in 28 PL appearances this season. Vital.

55'

GOAL!! LIVERPOOL SCORE AGAIN. The Reds smell blood. Suarez receives the ball 30 yards from goal and bursts forward, exchanging a one-two with Sterling, before carrying on his run and slotting past the onrushing Speroni from eight yards.

GOAL!! Liverpool get their second of the match, and it’ll give them a little bit of breathing room to go on and get more – looking to draw level with City. It’s Sturridge that scores, but it’s very fortunate. His shot from 20 yards takes a wicked deflection off Delaney and into the back of the net.
52'
WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE STOP FROM SPERONI! Sturridge looks to curl a wicked left-footed effort into the far corner from 18 yards. The ball takes a slight deflection off Delaney and looks to be beating the keeper, but Speroni somehow manages to get something on it – sending it onto the post and back into play. Suarez is first to it, but blazes his shot over.
51'

Suarez, still not happy with Clattenburg’s decision, has a pop at the referee and goes into his book for his troubles. Silly.

Looking at the replay, that could well have been a penalty. Dann had a quick look at Suarez and barged him over. Very lucky to get away with that, the Palace defender.
49'
A lovely turn from Suarez has him turning Dikgacoi and breaking forward with the ball. The striker attempts a one-two with Sturridge, but goes down in the box under a challenge from Dann. Clattenburg is having none of it though.
48'
Bolasie flies down the left flank, knocking the ball past three Liverpool players as he nears the visitors’ goal. He’s strong and lightning-quick, but his composure in the final third lets him down – his cross flying out for a throw-in.
47'
Excellent tackle from Delaney, who has to be careful inside his own penalty area. Sturridge bursts inside the box from the left and looks to outpace the defender, but Delaney’s challenge is smart, and he wins a goal kick.
46'
The second half is under way at Selhurst Park. Liverpool leading 1-0.
45+2'
The first half is brought to an end. Joe Allen's first Premier League goal for Liverpool good enough to separate the two sides at the break.
45'
A free-flowing, pacey Liverpool move has the Palace players penned deep in their own half. Suarez drops out to the left to pick up the ball and darts inside, rolling the ball into the path of Allen on the edge of the box. The midfielder tries to grab his second of the game, but his effort is sent high and wide.
43'
Allen is currently off the pitch receiving a bit of treatment. The midfielder appeared to be clutching at his right leg, but should be fit to continue.
42'
Suarez looks to catch out Speroni at his near post after being sent through on goal. The Uruguayan’s first touch is a poor one, but he manages to keep the ball in play on the left touchline. There are a number of Liverpool players in the penalty area, but Suarez smashes a shot towards the near post that Speroni has to be alert to save.

#cpfc losing but loud. Some clubs have singing sections. At Palace, every section is a singing section

40'
Gerrard moves the ball forward, exchanging a number of short, sharp passes with Allen before rolling the ball to his right into the path of Sterling. The winger only has one thing on his mind and flicks the ball out of his feet before shooting at goal. He’s closed down in a flash and the shot is blocked.

You'd swear you were in Germany with the noise from Palace's fans. Top-grade raucousness.

37: Sterling does brilliantly to get past Delaney and then find Suarez, who fires well over the bar with his left foot. Decent chance

37'
Suarez appeared to be struggling in the warm-up and hasn’t looked his usual lively self in this match so far. That poor effort a prime example.
36'
A half chance for Suarez now, who times his run to perfection, arriving late to meet Sterling’s centre from the right. The PFA player of the year lofts his shot over the bar from 15 yards.
35'
WHAT A SAVE FROM MIGNOLET!! Jedinak, unmarked, sets his sights from a little under 30 yards. His right-footed drive is vicious – dipping and swerving on its way into the top corner. But Mignolet flies through the air, getting a fingertip to the ball and diverting it over the crossbar.
34'
Palace coming alive now. They’re enjoying a spell of possession and seemed to be spurred on by that Puncheon effort and this brilliant home crowd.
33'
Great effort from Puncheon, who smashes a left-footed effort through a crowd of bodies from 25 yards. Mignolet is unsighted, but is down in a flash to turn the ball around his post with a firm hand. Brilliant effort, better save.

Palace 0-1 #LFC (30'): Gerrard has now 20 PL assist since the start of 2012/13, joint-most for any player in that period, along with Rooney.

30: Great effort from Suarez and it flies just wide of the post. Speroni looked to have it covered

30'
Suarez lines up a free-kick from distance. It’s that far out that Speroni only has a one-man wall, but the striker – who shapes to cross – sends a wicked, dipping effort on goal that zips just wide of the right-hand post. Not bad.

29'
A quick stat that doesn't bode well for Palace. Tony Pulis' side have recovered just two points from losing positions this season - the worst return of any Premier League side.
28'
Dikgacoi’s intelligent cross-field pace almost sends the overlapping Bolasie free down the left. Lucas is able to get something on the ball and take all of the pace of it, allowing for Skrtel to pick up the pieces. Johnson was out of position and would have put his side in trouble there.
27'
Suarez down the left now. He pulls away from Mariappa and reaches the Palace penalty area, looking to find Sturridge with a cross. There’s not enough pace on it, though, and Delaney acrobatically clears.

RT @OptaJoe: 737 - Joe Allen has ended a spell of 737 days without a Premier League goal (last scored for Swansea in April 2012). Patient.

25'
Liverpool continue to look dangerous on the counter attack, Another incisive diagonal run, this time from Sterling, has Delaney back tracking. The ball is accurate, but Mariappa is across to clear the danger.

Skrtel is sent to the touchline, but is back on in a flash and play resumes. Allen instantly goes into the referee’s book for a poorly-timed challenge on Chamakh.
22'
There's a break in play with Skrtel injured, holding his head midway into the Liverpool half. The defender will receive some treatment.
21'
The visitors’ turn to attack now, with Suarez and Sturridge exchanging a neat one-two. The Uruguayan receives the return ball from the left and only has the keeper to beat, but his left-footed shot is mistimed and he takes a swipe at the ball. The flag is up, though, so wouldn’t have counted.
20'
Palace look to respond instantly as they move the ball from left to right, Chamakh finally whipping in a delightful ball. Mignolet races off his line to punch, and does so quite unconvincingly, but the whistle is blown for a foul on the keeper.
19'
That is the first goal Crystal Palace have conceded from a corner at home all season. Incredible. Quite surprising that the man to unlock their stubborn defence is Allen, then...
18'

GOAL!!! Liverpool score. Joe Allen scores his first goal for Liverpool. Gerrard's corner from the left is sent over the crowd and towards the far post, where the unmarked Allen has the simplest of tasks to nod past Speroni. Terrible defending, but Liverpool won't care.
Liverpool Goal

Header - Bottom Left

16: Johnson has made a couple of those runs from full back now, diagonally getting in between Bolasie and Ward to cause #CPFC problems

16'
Brendan Rodgers’ men have had the lion’s share of possession and the best two chances of the match so far, but both have fallen to defenders and both wasted.
15'
Another chance for Liverpool as Johnson’s smart diagonal run loses Bolasie, but the full-back can’t get over the ball and direct his header past the onrushing Speroni. It drifts marginally over the bar.
13'
The Liverpool fans respond with a song of their own now. A chorus of “You’ll Never Walk Own” echoes around South London. The visitors still controlling play.
12'
The visitors controlling the tempo at the minutes, passing the ball round with confidence and style. Palace fans still making a huge noise inside the packed-out Selhurst Park. Great atmosphere.
10'
Just looking at the Johnson penalty claim once again; and there was definitely contact, but the Liverpool defender was already on his way down. Not a penalty.
9'
Chamakh is screaming for a free kick on the edge of the Liverpool penalty area, adamant that he was hauled to the floor by Skrtel. The referee isn’t interested however, and actually awards the set-piece to Liverpool for a pull on the shirt.
8'
MUST SCORE!! Sakho should have Liverpool a goal to the good, as he finds space – somehow – on the edge of the six-yard box from the corner. The defender is totally unmarked, but inexplicably heads wide.
7'
Johnson goes down in the box following Bolasie’s wild swing as he attempts to clear the ball. Clattenburg waves play on, allowing Liverpool to win a corner.
6'
A really poor challenge from Sakho, who lunges in on Chamakh and leaves the Moroccan in a heap on the floor. No booking.
5'
Half a chance for Liverpool, who break in numbers. Sterling sends Suarez down the left wing, and the Uruguayan cuts inside and has a chance to shoot, though his pass is finally cut out. The No. 7 has another bite of the cherry, however, but his cross from the left touchline is cleared at the back post.
4'
Referee Mark Clattenburg pulls Jedinak to the side following a foul on Suarez, who nutmegs the Palace man before being tripped up. That could be his final warning.
3'
Sturridge is sent free in the Palace penalty area by Allen’s incisive through ball. He looks to cut back inside on his unfavoured right foot and is tackled by the covering Dann.
2'
The home fans are in full voice this evening. A packed-out Selhurst Pack sees the home side gain control of possession early on, Bolasie testing Skrtel with a dangerous ball into the penalty area. The centre-half deals with it well under pressure, however, clearing the danger.
1'
The first half is under way. Visitors Liverpool kick off.
19:55
A final update on the fitness of Suarez, who was struggling in the warm-up. The Uruguayan, who was today named as the Football Writers' Player of the Year, is fit to play and has joined his teammates back in the changing room ahead of kick-off. Just five minutes to go now.
19:50
A quick stat for you now, and a pretty impressive one at that. Mile Jedinak continues to be the only outfield player to have played every minute of the Premier League this season for Crystal Palace, and is one of only two outfield players from any team to have done so - the other being Cardiff's Steven Caulker.

Some 'breaking' news for you, folks - though it could be nothing. Liverpool fans already worried about tonight's fixture, you may want to look away now. Luis Suarez appears to be struggling in the warm-up and is being attended to by the physios. I'll keep you updated as soon as I hear anything else.
19:40
Crystal Palace have been on hot form of late, winning 5 of their last 6 matches – the defeat coming against Man City last weekend – so Liverpool will have to be at their very best if they are to leave London with all three points. However, with an away goalscoring record better than anybody else’s in the league, and with newly crowned PFA and Football Writers’ player of the year Luis Suarez leading the line, Brendan Rodgers’ men will be confident of securing their seventh straight away match.
19:35
However, Liverpool boss Rodgers believes that the Toffees gave it their all against Manuel Pellegrini’s side. He said: “I've read some bits and pieces about Everton not wanting to do Liverpool a favour, but make no mistake they are a great club who've done really well this year. They've got outstanding players and are going into the game looking to get a result. We'll do what we've always done and concentrate on the next game.”
19:30
Brendan Rodgers’ men could be sitting in a slightly prettier position this evening – top of the league, in fact – if their arch rivals Everton were able to get a result in their match against City on Saturday. But, despite fighting valiantly (or not so, depending on who you’re speaking to), the Citizens ground out a 3-2 win and leapfrogged Liverpool.

RT @LFC: Brendan Rodgers has confirmed @Phil_Coutinho has a slight injury which is why he doesn't start at Crystal Palace this evening #LFC

19:25
Like Liverpool, there's just one change for Palace with boss Tony Pulis having a fully fit squad to choose from. Dynamic midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi replaces Cameron Jerome in the starting XI.
19:20
The big news for Liverpool is that Daniel Sturridge has been passed fit to start in this match after recovering full from a hamstring injury. The England international came off the bench against Chelsea last weekend after recovering from a hamstring problem. Midfielder Jordan Henderson is unavailable for the clash as he serves the final game of his three-match suspension.
19:15
The teams are in: CRYSTAL PALACE: Speroni, Mariappa, Dann, Delaney, Ward, Dikgacoi, Jedinak, Ledley, Bolasie, Puncheon, Chamakh…SUBS: Hennessey, Gabbidon, Parr, O'Keefe, Ince, Gayle, Murray /// LIVERPOOL: Mignolet, Johnson, Flanagan, Skrtel, Sakho, Gerrard, Allen, Lucas, Sterling, Sturridge, Suarez…SUBS: Jones, Toure, Agger, Coutinho, Aspas, Moses, Cissokho.
19:10
Saying that, if Liverpool are able to recreate their famous victory against the Eagles in 1989 when they found the net on nine occasions without reply, then the Reds’ goal difference will be the same as City’s. However, back on planet Earth, Liverpool cannot afford to drop points here this evening. If they do, then they can kiss their chances of winning the league for the first time in 24 years goodbye.
19:05
Liverpool let their title hopes slide out of their grasp last week, following a disappointing 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Chelsea. Captain Steven Gerrard’s fatal slip proved the turning point in the potentially decisive defeat, and now Liverpool must hope that Manchester City – who have a far superior goal difference – drop points in one of their final two fixtures.
