FT: Leicester City 2-2 Everton. Double fight back from the Foxes to get a very good draw.
90+2
Fine run and cross from Baines but Lukaku gets under the header and spoons it over.
90'
Four minutes added time.
89'
Everton break, Lukaku with a strong, driving run... wide to Mirallas, who jinks left and right and drills in a low cross FOR NAISMITH but Moore hacks it behind!
88'
Konchesky hoofs it long to Schlupp, who forces Jagielka to put it to touch. Can Leicester snatch an unlikely winner?
87'
Wood was on his way out a few days ago, set to join Wolves in the Championship. Now he is a HERO. Recall he was New Zealand's main striker at the 2010 World Cup.
Leicester City Goal

GOAL! GOAL! GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAL! Yes, that means the promoted side have scored, Wood stroking the ball home, low to the right corner after Jagielka's clearance ricochets into the Kiwi's path. 2-2!!
Everton Substitution

Leicester might not win today, but the entire Everton team is leaving with facial injuries

84'

EVERTON SUB: The final change of the day sees McGeady replaced by Coleman.
82'
After a fantastic first half, this second period has been something of a dirge. In part Everton have shut up shop, but it's not been pretty.
Everton Substitution
81'
Wood tries a bicycle kick but misses the ball and takes out Jagielka's face instead. Easy mistake to make.
80'

EVERTON SUB: Mirallas is on for Pienaar.
79'
Barry with a cynical check on Mahrez yet somehow he avoids a second yellow card. Poor decision from the ref - Barry had to walk.
78'
Wood's first act is to pick up the ball with his back to goal after good play from Schlupp but Everton survive.
Leicester City Substitution
77'

LEICESTER SUB: One beefy striker replaces another as Wood comes on for Ulloa.

Kevin Mirallas about to come on for Everton. His pace is needed with Everton getting deeper.

72'
Here comes the magic spray... and the free-kick from Mahrez is deflected wide off the wall.
71'
Mahrez is chopped down by the surprisingly mobile McCarthy 30 yards out... Leicester free-kick in a dangerous spot...
Leicester City Yellow card

70'

Moore is booked after stopping Lukaku in his tracks with a handball to prevent the Belgian getting through. Could have been red, argue the Everton players, but yellow seems about right.

Just saw quite possibly the worst one on one finish in PL history from Leicester's aptly named Schlupp.

Everton Yellow card

66'
Schlupp is a highly rated, versatile left-footed player with pace and touch. But he is raw - he went on trial at Manchester United a few years ago but wasn't deemed ready.
65'
ROSENTHAL! Well, it wasn't that bad but Schlupp's first act was a superb run to race clear, followed a fine first touch - but he capped it off with a comedy finish, smashing it high in the air with just Howard to beat.
64'
McCarthy is going to try and run this off. Doesn't look good though.
Leicester City Substitution
63'

LEICESTER SUB: Schlupp comes on for Knockaert. That is all for now.
62'
As McCarthy receives treatment, Leicester are set to make some changes...
61'
McCarthy is in all kinds of trouble, down holding his knee after falling awkwardly...
60'
Despite Leicester improving in this second half, Everton have snuck further ahead possession wise. Now on 62%,
59'
Konchesky with a clean challenge that the referee deems dangerous as he went in on McGeady from behind.
58'
Good defending by Jagielka as Leicester again threatened.
57'
Konchesky with a decent cross that almost finds Knockaert. Baines completes the clearance.

Leicester 1-2 Everton HT: Possession: 42%-58%. Shots: 4-10. Chances created: 2-3. Pass Accuracy: 82%-86%. http://t.co/sZoGZcX0Wn

53'
Nice touch by Nugent to King, now Knockaert on the left, fine swinging cross AND ULLOA WITH THE HEADER but he diverts the bullet effort wide! Got the angle all wrong after appearing to meet it perfectly!
51'
Everton are having to resist the hosts here. This is by no means a done deal.

Everton need another one here before Paul Konchesky scores the inevitable 'once in a career 30 yarder' against us. #efc

50'
Nugent shows great pace after chasing an Ulloa flick but Distin is no slouch and Everton clear.
48'
Decent start to the second half from Leicester as King and Knockaert combine, the latter swinging a superb cross in that Howard fields.
47'
Early free-kick to Leicester and the ball in causes panic as players from both sides chuck themselves towards the penalty spot - hacked away by Barry. King's flick caused the problems.
46'
The second half is underway!

100 - Leonardo Ulloa's goal came just 100 seconds after Aiden McGeady had scored for Everton. Timely.

45+2
HT: Leicester 1-2 Everton. Competitive, entertaining and full-blooded. Exactly what this league is about.
45+1
As we enter a minimum of two minutes added time, let's revisit that Everton goal. Pienaar fed Baines, who skipped down the left and drilled a low ball that the sliding South African touched on to Naismith who, on the turn, rifled a left-foot finish in off the bar. Very easy on the eye.
45'
De Laet is getting treatment. Seems a bit dazed, a whack on the face.
Everton Goal

GOAL EVERTON! Marvellous finish from Naismith, in off the crossbar after a lovely interchange between Baines and Pienaar. Great football. 2-1 Everton.
41'
Naismith has far too much time on the edge of the box but drills his shot wide, Schmeichel covering.
39'

LEICESTER SUB: Drinkwater is replaced by Hammond.
Leicester City Substitution
38'
Looks like Danny Drinkwater's game will be over. He has picked up an injury.
37'
Speaking of McGeady, he rifles another rasping effort over the bar. He failed to score last season, in 17 matches, but looks a real goal threat today.
36'
Amusing get-around by our friends at Squawka to show you McGeady's goal...
View image on Twitter

Aidan McGeady's goal for Everton was a beauty. We're not allowed to show you so here's a graphic instead. http://t.co/Zwqj0bYxS0

34'
McGeady almost got his second but his finish was blocked by a desperate lunge from Morgan. Pienaar with the nice cut back. Everton piling it on now!
33'
Baines with the corner... poor, too deep, Morgan nods away.
32'
LUKAKU! No, the ball skims his mighty head to land wide. Morgan got the final touch, so it's a corner.
30'
Baines is adamant he was tripped as he entered the box from the left - but Knockaert did NOT touch him. A dive. Again, should be a card.
29'
Jagielka with a risky defensive header but Howard gets there before Nugent. Leicester putting themselves about a bit!
28'
Knockaert is playing like a man with a point to prove. He goes on another direct run but the effort is off target.
27'
Must say - this has been surprisingly even after an Everton-dominated start.

This Everton vs Leicester game is exciting. End to end only 25 mins gone #OpeningDay

26'
Leicester could be in on the break here as Mahrez races clear down the left - Nugent is howling for it but the Algeria winger scuffs his cross and Jagielka brings it away.
25'
Pienaar sends Naismith scuttling through but Morgan puts in a fine sliding block. Corner.
24'
Everton have the ball in the net through Naismith but the flag is up... it had gone out of play in the build-up.
23'
Eyebrows were raised when Ulloa moved to Leicester from Brighton for £8m, which could rise to £10m, as he had only ever played in the second tiers of English and Spanish football. If he hits double figures and the Foxes stay up, that's money well spent.
22'

GOAL LEICESTER! ULLOA MAKES IT 1-1!! Straight from the restart Leicester had a corner, Everton defended it poorly and Distin's clearance bounced off Ulloa, who pounced on the loose ball and rifled it bottom right!
Leicester City Goal

Right Footed - Bottom Right

20'

GOAL EVERTON! A stunner from McGeady! The corner was cleared but the ball came back for Distin - he looked set to score but Schmeichel did what Schmeichels do and saved brilliantly. The loose ball fell to McGeady, who took one touch and smashed an unstoppable drive in off the angle of post and bar. Fantastic strike.
Everton Goal

Right Footed - Top Right

19'
Poor decision to award Everton a corner after Pienaar appeared to get the last touch... will this be controversial?
18'
A long ball is left to bounce by Jagielka, and Howard wasn't expecting that so Ulloa could be in! The striker's touch is a bit light though and it allows the USA keeper to dive on to the ball. Unsteady defending there!
17'
The historical stats don't look good for Leicester - but then they looked peachy for Man United earlier...

0 - Leicester City have won none of their last five fixtures on the opening weekend of the Barclays Premier League (D3 L2). Task.

16'
Howard is convinced he was fouled by Morgan as he rose to meet that free-kick, but the ref signals for a corner... cleared as far as Morgan who fires wide! A bit of a toe-poke that - and poor marking from Everton.
14'
Knockaert hurls himself to the turf under minimal pressure from Baines. The assistant ref buys it. Poor. Free-kick to Leicester on the right...
13'
While it didn't amount to anything, this latest Everton attack shows how far they have come in one year - cute, short passing, one-touch and crisp until Lukaku loses control.
11'
Baines with a superb tackle on Mahrez on the edge of the Everton box. Baines had a poor World Cup so will be champing at the bit to re-establish himself as England's no.1 left-back.
10'
Distin calmly uses Howard to clear and Everton now break. Lovely crossfield pass from Baines to McGeady but the Irishman fails to do anything with it. He gets it back off Pienaar but drags a daisy cutter at Schmeichel.
9'
McGeady so nearly plays a lovely through-ball to Lukaku, but Moore intercepts and Leicester turn defence into attack...
7'
Kasper Schmeichel kicks long. Nice to see him back in the top flight - he was Manchester City's first-choice as a youngster but was cast aside when the money came in, and rebuilt his career the hard way, coming up through the divisions from League Two Notts County.
6'
Lukaku is ably shunted off the ball by Morgan. Leicester gaining a bit of confidence as some strong challenges fly in.
4'
Howard gets a touch of the ball as he gathers a lofted cross from Knockaert.
3'
Everton making the early running. Might take Leicester a while to get used to the pace of this.
2'
It has been in a decade since these teams played each other.
1'
The first half is underway. Everton kick off.
14:55
This is what £28m gets you these days...
14:50
Fancy a flutter? Well, you probably shouldn’t, but here are the odds just in case… Leicester 11/5, Everton 7/5, Draw 12/5.
14:45
Leicester are back after a 10-year absence – but can they accumulate enough points to book a ticket for season number two?

#lcfc and @Everton arrive at King Power Stadium for today's game. Team news coming up shortly #LeiEve http://t.co/Oa3A4AIMIM

14:40
And here's Everton chief Roberto Martinez: "In football you always have to try to use the transfer window to your advantage and see if there is anything that can help the team be prepared until the next window opens. We are always looking at that. In terms of the squad that we have, I’m delighted with what we achieved [this summer] and the continuity that we have got. That will allow us to carry on working on what we did last season. In terms of being desperate to bring someone in, the answer is no, we're not."
14:35
Here's Leicester boss Nigel Pearson: "We've done everything we can to prepare the players like we would for any season. Clearly being in the Premier League is something the club has been trying to achieve for a decade - that's a long time but we don't have a divine right to be there. The players are as ready as they can be. We have to recognise there is an unknown quantity as to how we will fare. I don't know how other people perceive us. It can be a positive or negative - it's about trying to establish us back in the top flight, which is a very difficult task for anyone."
14:30
One man who will have to wait for his debut is Everton's Bosnian midfielder Muhamed Besic. He showed some exquisite touches in pre-season but has to settle for a place on the bench today.
14:25
Both teams sport a big money striker - Leonardo Ulloa starts for Leicester following his £8m move from Brighton. Meanwhile Everton have Romelu Lukaku, a £28m arrival from Chelsea - the Belgian was excellent on loan at Goodison Park last season.
