    • Juventus
    • - FULL-TIME: Superb display from Napoli - they take a convincing scoreline from a close game thanks to clinical finishing and disciplined defending. They rode their luck with the disallowed goal from Toni, but the visitors could not claim to have deserved anything from the game. Napoli second!
    • 90+3' Great late tackle to deny Lavezzi in the area, and that's the final action of the match!
    • 90+2' Whistles can be heard in the crowd - they're quite happy to see this one end.
    • 90+1' Three more minutes for Juventus to endure.
    • 90' Replays show Cavani on the sidelines orchestrating the crowd after his substitution - he's a firm fan favourite already, and no wonder.
    • 89' A bizarre corner - the ball is sent a long way back and then goes back to the corner flag, only to go out on the full. It matters little.
    • 88' Lavezzi stirs the crowd into more cheers as he wins a corner. He's been excellent for Napoli tonight as well.
    • 87' Krasic looked lively in a fifteen-minute spell at the start of the half but he's gone off the boil since - and he's been well-marked too.
    • 86' Del Piero tries to go it alone - but his shot is wildly ambitious and well over from thirty yards.
    • 85' Yebda crosses - or did he shoot? In either case it was not especially effective, and Storari gathers.
    • 84' Final change - Sosa comes on, replacing hat-trick hero Cavani. He gets the standing ovation his performance merited.
    • 83' Gargano tries a hit from range, but he's gone 127 games without scoring - no prizes for guessing his speculative effort did not end up in the back of the net.
    • 82' Industrious running from Yebda, running crossfield to get Napoli a little space.
    • 81' Aquilani makes a lazy challenge on Gargano. Juventus look as if they could lose their discipline if they aren't careful.
    • 80' Unseemly scrap in the middle between Grosso and Gargano. The free-kick goes the way of Juventus on this occasion.
    • 79' Another corner for the Bianconeri. Napoli seem quite happy to let their opponents press, as they have the lead they need.
    • 78' Good performance from Hamsik tonight - his delivery for the third goal was particularly enjoyable.
    • 77' Take a breather, Hamsik - Yebda, formerly of Portsmouth, takes the field.
    • 75' It's been a balanced game, really - but Juventus have been let down by lapses in their concentration at the back, and Napoli have taken their chances with gusto.
    • 74' Grosso lets the ball go out, winning a corner. He passes short to the anonymous Aquilani.
    • 73' Another tempter from Del Pieor on the left, but this one is a little more loopy and De Sanctis claims.
    • 72' TERRIFIC BALL IN, CHIELLINI CLOSE! Del Piero is excellent from the dead ball, and Chiellini only needed to make a firmer contact to turn the ball in at the far post - but not quite enough.
    • 71' Grosso wins a free-kick on the left - Del Piero to cross.
    • 70' Grosso has been pushed up to the midfield for Juve, but they're looking a little deflated now. Unsurprisingly, of course - it hasn't been their day.
    • 69' Toni raises his arms to the air looking for a penalty - afraid not, Luca - you've brought down Cannavaro.
    • 68' Aronica replaces Dossena, who looked impressive for the hosts.
    • 67' Napoli set to make a change - but not until they take a corner. It bounces around the goal, and culminates with Cavani smashing a volley over the bar. Stick to your head...
    • 66' Final Juve change - Motta on, Pepe off.
    • 65' De Sanctis spills the ball just in front of Toni, but the defence comes to his rescue. Not Toni's day...
    • 64' CAVANI CLOSE! Lavezzi makes a sensational run on the break and slides the ball towards Cavani, but it was just a little beyond the Uruguayan and he couldn't steer the ball on target with any power.
    • 63' Decent move from Juve, led by Aquilani, ends with Toni drawing a corner as his shot takes a deflection.
    • 62' Cavani gives the ball away with a sloppy pass - but the fans will probably find it to forgive him that one, given his contribution...
    • 61' Pepe catches Hamsik - a really ugly-looking challenge which draws a booking.
    • 60' Still the flares go off - the Napoli fans are loving this - they've not been this high in the table for two and-a-half seasons.
    • 58' Whipped in to the far corner by Del Piero - but over the crossbar and possibly just wide as well.
    • 58' Yellow for Maggio, who will also pick up a booking after a challenge on Grygera just outside the box. Chance for Juventus, and Del Piero stands over the ball.
    • 57' The flares have been fired. The smoke is back. The fans are loud. This is how Italian football should be - and whatever else it's been an excellent game to watch.
    • 56' Yellow for Hamsik who lashes out at Chiellini. He'll be suspended after that challenge.
    • 55' Wonderful stuff from Cavani. That's 20 goals for him in his first 27 games for Napoli. A sucker-punch from the hosts which has surely settled this one.
    • 54' CAVANI MAKES IT THREE! WHAT A GOAL! A great move, set up by a fabulous move from Lavezzi and Hamsik, and he makes an incredible diving header to turn it in from a tight angle.
    • 53' Campagnaro concedes the corner to deny Krasic a cross from the right - Juventus - and Krasic in particular - have come out looking sharp in the second period.
    • 52' Juventus make another change - here comes Del Piero for Amauri.
    • 51' Another good cross from Krasic who had a little more time and picked his ball carefully - but unfortunately for him it's just over Amauri's head.
    • 50' Aquilani goes for a long ball to Krasic - who has to sprint so fast to keep it in play that there's nobody there for his centre.
    • 49' TONI SO CLOSE! Juventus pressuring well, but Marchisio's inviting ball to Toni is headed straight at De Sanctis, who makes a crucial stop!
    • 48' Pepe has his heels clipped as he swings past Maggio and towards the goal.
    • 47' Early free-kick for Juve - Pepe takes it, and Toni heads wide of the far post.
    • 46' The second half begins!
    • - Looks like a straight swap for Juventus at left-back - Grosso on, Traore off.
    • 45+2' HALF-TIME: Two goals in six minutes have turned the game Napoli's way, but the biggest controversy was in the middle, when a seemingly good equaliser from Toni was disallowed. Napoli were the better side, but that decision clearly hurt the visitors. Juve are fighting hard, Napoli look a consistent threat. A cracking second half awaits us - join us in a few minutes to see how it turns out.
    • 45+1' A throw down the line from Dossena goes nowhere in particular. Time dripping away.
    • 45' Pepe's delivery is decent, but Napoli clear it. Their defence has been considerably better organised. Two minutes left in this half for Juve to rescue something from it.
    • 44' Krasic falls to the ground under a Dossena tackle - good free-kick for Juve from the byline.
    • 43' Amauri does fantastically even to get a header to that corner, but he's leaning back so far it's no surprise that his effort goes over the bar.
    • 41' Deep free-kick for Juve, but it takes a deflection out for a Napoli goal-kick.
    • 40' Traore picks up a yellow card for a clumsy foul on Maggio.
    • 39' Amauri rather crudely brought to ground there for a Juve free-kick.
    • 38' If Juventus are going to find a way back into this match, it looks like it will come from Krasic - but the Napoli defence are doing a terrific job of keeping him at bay.
    • 37' DOSSENA CLOSE! Full-blooded cross-come-shot drilled from the left and it takes an unorthodox stop from Storari to keep it out and safe.
    • 36' Hamsik pops up on the left, winning Napoli another corner. Pressure building.
    • 35' Beautifully-weighted ball to play in Maggio down the right. Chiellini makes the tackle and holds him off.
    • 34' Krasic back on the field, looking for a way down the right but sent to the ground (fairly) by Pazienza.
    • 33' Lavezzi pressurises Grygera into giving away a corner. Napoli a huge threat from crosses.
    • 32' Toni traps a long ball expertly. He's looked excellent thus far.
    • 31' Krasic has had his right hand bandaged and play is continuing while he struggles on the sideline.
    • 30' Krasic may have had a boot (accidentally) on his hand as he lay on the ground - he's clutching his hand and looks to be in some pain.
    • 29' Toni chasing a lost cause gamely but Campagnaro clears emphatically.
    • 28' Dossena fells Krasic as the hosts are forced to defend.
    • 27' It's been a thrilling start to this one, full of incident. Juve still playing well, but they have a huge task to get something out of the game now.
    • 26' CAVANI MAKES IT TWO! ANOTHER HEADER! He ghosts through for another free header after Dossena's delivery into the middle and it's child's play. The disallowed goal looks even more critical now.
    • 25' Storari kicks the ball out and the crowd just takes a moment after a frantic few minutes.
    • 24' It would have been quite a story if Toni had scored on his debut - and of course he still may - but that was an incident which may have a huge effect on the rest of the game.
    • 23' TONI SCORES! NO! A FOUL! But it's hard to see what the referee has disallowed this for - Toni gets to the header just ahead of De Sanctis and the keeper collapses to the ground AFTER he's beaten. Huge relief for Napoli - they've been very lucky there.
    • 22' AMAURI CLOSE! Great shot and De Sanctis makes a fingertip stop!
    • 21' Lavezzi skips past Grygera and hits a powerful shot which Storari has to tip around the post!
    • 21' Hamsik's shot from distance takes a wicked deflection, and trickles only just wide for a corner.
    • 20' All credit to Cavani to find that space, but Juventus's centre-halves Bonucci and Chiellini will be kicking themselves for the lapse of concentration.
    • 19' NAPOLI SCORE! CAVANI! He had a free header after a well-worked move down the right allowed Maggio to cross - all too easy and the hosts lead!
    • 18' Traore makes a terrific tackle to stop Maggio on the right. These two have locked horns several times already in the first minutes of the game.
    • 17' And though Napoli have had the better of the play so far, Napoli made the most probing move with that Dossena cross. It's intriguingly poised at the moment.
    • 16' Cassardavid (comment 42) - you're absolutely right - Juve would go second with victory tonight. Good spot, and I've corrected the comment below.
    • 15' Dossena throws in for Campagnaro but it's a shocking cross. Back it comes, though, and Dossena puts in a dangerous cross after Lavezzi's backheel which Storari does well to parry away.
    • 14' Amauri combines with Toni after the latter knocks a header his way, but Amauri has to go off for some treatment after being caught and his nose is bleeding.
    • 13' Napoli win a throw and with it a chance to clear their lines.
    • 12' Juventus on the march here, but getting nowhere fast. Krasic is being double-teamed on the right with Pazienza dropping back to help out Dossena.
    • 11' Campagnaro tries to lift a ball back into the Juve penalty area, but it's no problem for Grygera, who shepherds it out.
    • 10' Maggio felled by Traore and wins a free-kick in a useful spot on the right. The Juve players don't like that decision but it's fair enough.
    • 9' Disappointing delivery from Pepe - cleared with ease but it comes back to Aquilani. He tries a long-ranger but De Sanctis catches that one comfortably.
    • 8' Traore brought down on the left and wins a free-kick from a fairly deep position, but it's another chance for Pepe to send a ball in.
    • 7' Toni causing mischief in the penalty area and Maggio hits a bullet header back to his keeper - just as well De Sanctis was paying attention to gather it!
    • 6' Long ball forward from Campagnaro, doesn't find its mark.
    • 5' No foul for Krasic much to his surprise as the Serbian tries to dance down the right wing.
    • 4' Good set-piece for Juventus here from the left hand side but it's scooped straight into De Sanctis' arms.
    • 4' Great touch from Krasic but former Liverpool midfielder Dossena stops him from cutting down the right hand side.
    • 3' Maggio thought he might have got the better of Chiellini there on his way to the byline but a free kick given to the Juventus man.
    • 2' Interesting playing conditions for this one - first of all the smoke from flares is very thick and taking a little time to clear, while the pitch itself is quite heavy after some heavy rain in Naples in recent times.
    • 1' We're away! Both clubs in their home kits, Napoli kicking off.
    • 19:45 Will Juventus cope without midfielder Melo, who's suspended? Will Toni fire on debut? Can Napoli make a serious step forward in their Scudetto chase? We're about to find out!
    • 19:45 Fantastic crowd in attendance in Naples tonight, which is great to see - although the choice of 'Go West' by the Pet Shop Boys playing on the address system is a curious one.
    • 19:40 So it looks like Toni will make his debut, but there are two Eastern Europeans who will be well worth watching. From Napoli Marek Hamsik will be a creative force, while for Juventus Milos Krasic has been crucial to their fortunes this season.
    • 19:35 NAPOLI: De Sanctis - Cannavaro, Grava, Campagnaro - Pazienza, Gargano, Dossena, Maggio - Cavani, Lavezzi, Hamsik
    • 19:35 JUVENTUS: Storari - Chiellini, Bonucci, Traore, Grygera - Marchisio, Aquilani, Pepe, Krasic - Toni, Amauri
    • 19:30 The big news from Serie A on Friday was Juventus bringing in Luca Toni in the transfer window after an injury put paid to Fabio Quagliarella's season. Read the story here.
    • 19:25 This is a critical game for both sides - third-placed Napoli can leapfrog Lazio into second with a point, and with victory they'll close the gap to AC Milan down to four points. But if Juventus, currently fifth, win, they'll end the day ahead of Napoli in second. Check the Serie A table here.
    • 19:20 Already today we've seen some extraordinary action, including league leaders AC Milan playing out an eight-goal thriller with Udinese. Read the round-up here.
    • 19:15 Good evening everyone and welcome to LIVE text commentary from the action at the Stadio San Paolo, where Napoli host Juventus in Serie A.
