    • Udinese
    • 90+4' FULL TIME. Udinese take third place in Serie A and Champions League qualification thanks to a 2-0 win at Catania.
    • 90+3' Udinese hit the post! Kwadwo Asamoah with a shocking miss at the back post as he slides in and thumps the ball against the woodwork with the keeper stranded!
    • 90' We will have four minutes of added time but this is done and dusted now.
    • 89' Suazo goes close! The Honduras striker fires an effort just wide as Catania look to pull one back.
    • 82' As things stand, of course, Udinese are set to claim the third and final Champions League spot in Serie A. They need to concede three goals for that to change.
    • 79' Almiron bangs into Fabbrini on the edge of the box and is lucky to go unpunished. Udinese wanted a penalty but the contact looked just outside.
    • 77' Giovanni Marchese fancies a free kick but drives his effort into the wall for Catania.
    • 70' Samir Handanovic produces a brilliant save for Udinese to deny Nicolas Spolli! The defender then heads another chance wide.
    • 65' David Suazo slams a great effort just wide of the post for Catania. What a hit that was.
    • 62' Fabbrini peels off left to find plenty of space but Pasquale is selfish and doesn't play the pass before seeing his effort blocked.
    • 58' GOAL! Diego Fabbrini with the finish as he drives into the box and slots the ball into the very corner of the net. Udinese must now concede three goals to lose third place. It isn't going to happen.
    • 51' Ooh, a lovely little backheeled flick from Di Natale. Aside from that horrid miss after 30 seconds he has shown his class again tonight.
    • 48' Pereyra blasts a shot wide of the post as Udinese come out all guns blazing.
    • 44' Danilo gives away a free kick with a foul on Gomez and Catania have a free kick in a good position. However, the strike smacks against the wall.
    • 39' Penalty missed! Gomez tries to stick it in the bottom corner but rolls the ball about 20cm wide. That was a horrible spot-kick, and Lazio, Napoli and Inter will all be cursing.
    • 37' Penalty to Catania! Pereyra brings down Andrea Catellani with a clumsy challenge.
    • 26' Felipe Seymour makes a wonderful diving block to prevent a shot from Udinese testing Carrizo in goal. Alejandro Gomez then races up the other end and drives a shot wide of the far post.
    • 21' That really was a delicious little finish from Di Natale. He got his toe under the ball and lifted it over the Catania defender, sending it spinning over the line. And it means that Udinese will secure third place unless Catania can score twice.
    • 19' GOAL! Catania 0-1 Udinese! What a glorious finish from Di Natale! He races onto a ball over the top, knocks the ball past goalkeeper Carrizo and dinks the ball over a defender on the line to put Udinese ahead.
    • 17' Di Natale takes charge of a free kick on the left but Catania stand firm and head clear after he floats the ball into the box.
    • 15' This game is a rather tense affair - unsurprisingly given what is at stake for Udinese. Reaching the Champions League would be a tremendous achievement for them. Last summer they fell at the qualifying round to Arsenal.
    • 11' Maximiliano Pereyra drives a shot at goal for Udinese but sees his effort blocked. Pereyra then sees another effort fail to come off. Udinese are enjoying mounting pressure now.
    • 3' And now Udinese threaten again! Diego Fabbrini is pushed to ground inside the box and wants a penalty. However, it did look a touch theatrical and he is ignored.
    • 1' A huge miss by Antonio Di Natale! The forward, just included in Italy's preliminary squad for Euro 2012, races through on goal after 28 seconds but slots the ball wide of the post. That could have been the perfect start.

  1. Di Natale is sooooo under rated, if he was english no doubt he and miccolli would be in the national team all the time.
