    • Hibernian
    • Rangers
    • 90+2 After a dire first-half, Rangers came to life after the break with a penalty well dispatched from Jelavic and then a fine header from the Croat got his side all three points and put the pressure on Celtic to try and close the gap at the top of the table.
    • 90+2 FINAL WHISTLE at Easter Park. Rangers win 2-0, thanks to two goals from Nikica Jelavic. Rangers lead the SPL by 7 points.
    • 91' Hibs finishing the game with a flourish, but Rangers are defending resolutley.
    • 90' Two minutes of added time.
    • 90' Bendiksen catches Sproule late on the near touchline.
    • 89' Only one win at home for Hibs so far this season and you can certainly see why.
    • 88' Professional display from Rangers today, not terrific but they have the three points in the bag it seems.
    • 87' Juan Manuel Ortiz replaces Maurice Edu for Rangers
    • 86' 18-year-old Ross Caldwell and Akpo Sodje come on for Griffiths and O'Connor respectively
    • 85' Hibs ready to make a double change, too little too late one feels.
    • 84' Rangers knocking the ball around nicely as they look to seal the victory in the Scottish capital.
    • 83' Hibs looking to make a change to try and get back into the match
    • 82' The second half has certainly been a lot livelier than the first, as Rangers close in on their fifth successive win against Hibs away from home, Hibs have not scored in their last 4 home games against the 'Gers.
    • 81' Rangers trying to take the sting out of the game
    • 80' SUPERB STOP from McGregor as he claws out a deflected looping effort from under his own crossbar. Osbourne follows up but shanks his effort harmlessly over as Rangers breathe a sigh of relief.
    • 79' Just over 10 minutes left in normal time. And it is the Rangers fans who are making all the noise as they sit top of the SPL.
    • 78' 11, 380 is the attendance at Easter Park, as O'Connor has a shot saved by McGregor easily.
    • 77' McCoist has certainly not been happy with some of the decisions today. As a free-kick is given against his side, which quite frankly never should have been.
    • 76' Griffiths is found upfield and is clean through.....but he is called offside. He blazed his effort over the bar anyway, but Rangers will have to be aware of Hibs' long ball tactics late on.
    • 75' Hibs trying to get something going forward, but they have totally lost all the momentum they built up from a good start to the second half.
    • 74' Wylde tries to play a defence splitting pass which doesn't come off, but good thought from the Rangers wideman.
    • 73' Corner to Rangers
    • 71' Rangers looking very dangerous on the counter-attack now and a third goal only seems like a matter of time.
    • 70' Hart is replaced by Galbraith. The Hibs right-back has given away the penalty and lost his man for the second.....not a good afternoon for the defender.
    • 69' Two attempts on target for Rangers....two goals. In a word, clinical.
    • 68' GOAL! 2-0. Jelavic buries a header at the back post, as the big Croat grabs his second goal of the afternoon. Great delivery from the corner from Wylde.
    • 67' Bendiksen's cross is knocked behind for a corner.
    • 66' Bendiksen has done very well since coming on. He has certainly added some much needed panache to the Rangers attack.
    • 65' By the way, Jelavic's penalty was Rangers first shot on goal. Clinical from the the Glasgow side.
    • 64' Another corner from Sproule doesn't come to much. Rangers now 7 points ahead of Celtic at the top as it stands, but Celtic play at 3pm this afternoon.
    • 63' Really was a silly challenge by Hart in the box for the penalty, and he has put his side in a tricky situation here. Credit to Rangers left-back Wallace though for getting forward.
    • 62' Tremondous delivery, and Hanlon is unmarked in the 6-yard box but he can only send his header over the bar. Let off for Rangers, great chance for Hibs to draw level and they don't take it.
    • 61' Hopefully that goals sparks this contest into life now, Hibs have a free-kick 40-yards out.
    • 60' GOAL! 1-0 to Rangers, as Jelavic steps up and sends Stack the wrong way with a wonderful low-driven penalty. It's his 13th goal of the season in all competitions.
    • 59' PENALTY TO RANGERS. Quite an easy decision as Micheal Hart grabs hold of Wallace's arm in the box right under the referee's nose.
    • 57' Whittaker is getting a bit of joy down the right
    • 56' The game has returned to a midfield battle, as both sides continue to cancel eachother out.
    • 55' Thomas Kind Bendiksen on to replace Bartley who has been struggling with injury over the last week. Hopefully the young Norweigan can spark something going forward.
    • 54' Horrendous challenge from Carlos Bocanegra. Cynical challenge on the touchline as he breaks up Hibs' attack. The US international joins his countryman Edu in the book.
    • 53' Hibs' Griffiths has come more and more into the game, as he is running at Wallace at every opportunity. Rangers asleep at the moment, McCoist must not be happy with what he's seen so far.
    • 52' Bendiksen is getting prepared for Rangers, as the game needs a creative spark to get going again after a promising start to the second half.
    • 51' Chilly afternoon in Edinburgh, the Rangers players are huddled together under blankets on the bench.
    • 50' Stevenson makes a surging run into the box, but he is swarmed by a mass of blue shirts and Rangers clear the ball.
    • 49' Jelavic has had no support, but he isn't exactly busting his gut to get involved either. He has scored 10 SPL goals so far, but hasn't come close today
    • 48' Sproule delivers a cross, and a shot is blocked before the offside flag is raised against Sproule. Certainly a lively start to the second half. Bodes well.

    • 46' Hibs get us underway in the second half...
    • 45+2' Half-time. Hibs 0-0 Rangers. Bit of a bore draw so far folks, fingers crossed the second half is better.
    • 45' 2 minutes stoppage time here at Easter Road
    • 45' Right on half-time the best chance of the game falls to Griffiths, as Sproule does well wide, but Griffiths should have buried that chance, he had plenty of time to compose himself insided the box. Hands on head time for Hibs.
    • 44' Can somebody pull ahead before half-time? In what has been a dire game so far at Easter Road
    • 43' Sproule is caught offside as Hibs make a brief forage forward
    • 42' Foul called on the 'Gers as the ball is delivered. Surely we will get a shot on goal soon? 43rd minute and we haven't had one!
    • 42' Corner to Rangers
    • 40' Rangers have lost just one of their last 27 SPL games. They need to step it up here to try and get another victory.
    • 39' Whittaker puts in a challenge on Osbourne, the HIbs man feels aggrieved he doesn't get the free-kick
    • 38' Bartley sythes down O'Connor, sloppy challenge from the Arsenal loanee
    • 36' Whittaker can't get to the the ball as it sails out for a goal-kick.
    • 35' More midfield battling, that about sums up this affair so far.
    • 34' Still a bit of a stalemate here, not one strike on goal so far.....

    • 28' Griffiths shot is blocked for Hibs, as they have thier first corner.
    • 28' Wallace looks to be in, but the linesman raises his flag. Close one that, Wallace looked level cutting in from the left.
