    • 18' Coleman beats two defenders down the right, then mucks up his pass. The Everton player then does well to tackle Burgstaller in the area.
    • 17' Alaba has the ball in the middle and is looking composed, until Paul Green breaks up the party with a well-timed tackle.
    • 16' John O'Shea overhits a long crossfield ball over Fuchs to the right channel and Long is unable to chase the pass down.
    • 15' It is not just rainy but windy in the stadium - Austria have the wind at their back.
    • 14' Fuchs leaves Walters on the floor, then takes pity on the Stoke player and puts the ball out of play. Walters got a belt in the calf as the pair jumped for the ball.

    • 11' Garics loops a ball into the area from the right but it was a poor touch from Burgstaller in the area. Richard Dunne lost his man there though.
    • 10' McCarthy makes a good tackle to deny Weimann the chance of slipping the ball towards goal. Austria are coming back into the game after Ireland's bright start.

    • 8' Shane Long is playing as the lone man up front, with Keane dropping back into the three-quarter position. Sebastian Prodl is dealing well with the aerial threat of Long.
