The Rise & Fall of the "Roman" empire.

Could greed, gluttony and an overwhelming desire to dictate, rule and interfere be the downfall of Roman's empire? Will he find another Centurion to lead his team to victory in future or has his reputation destroyed that chance?

Will Mancini want to join Chelsea after it was revealed that Jose had been chosen months ago to lead Inter? Mancini may take the view that he's been given his left overs and playing second fiddle. More importantly, will there be many players to manage or are we going to be seeing an Exodus from the Chelsea camp? Throwing their beloved blue shirts to the ground, the same one's that kissed when they scored and displayed to their fans with passion. Fleeing to their former ruler and returning at some point soon to destroy those that had put faith, belief and trust in them. Lead by the "Chosen one" hell bent on seeking revenge.

The warnings signs are there and Chelsea could become another mediocre, mid table football club again. You're owner is a Judas and if he can't get his way or his dreams to come true soon, will Chelsea going up for sale? Sadly, you the Chelsea supporters have not stood up to be heard and your backbones have turned to jelly. If you loved your club as much as you say you do, you would be marching and demanding action. The nightmare has begun and don't say that you haven't been warned!!

    • I wrote this thread at the beginning of the month and just 8 days later it seems that a few Chelsea supporters are starting to wake up to the reality that their club is on a downward spiral.

Having a rich owner is one thing but stability in a club is another. Interference with the day to day running of a club in footballing terms, disposing of managers at the drop of a hat and seeing the likes of Peter Keynon, now handling the transfer talks with Carvalho who looks to be on his way to his beloved Jose at Inter, really ought to be bringing Chelsea supporters together to protest outside the gates at Stamford Bridge.

The whole manager fiasco at the bridge is becoming a bit of a laughing stock and I believe the comments stating that the board are happy with progress in finding another manager is just a smoke screen. There's so many names being thrown into the hat that it's almost becoming a lottery to see who they can possibly get to take the job.

The greatest signing of the summer for Chelsea won't be any player, it'll be finding a manager willing to take the job.
