in my opinion he is not good enough for chelsea . how many times has he kept the ball trying to score from impossble angless, instead o passing to a player on the open with an almost sure chance of scoring? he is not a team player at all he is egoistical on the pitch. chelsea should sell him and get a playmaker. this guy cannot pass to a teammate. in the last game i was boiling, mata had a certain goal. useless dtriker.
Sturridge's performance against West Brom was yet more proof that he is currently little more than an a show pony with no end product.
Was he on drugs when he tried to dummy the advancing Foster when put clean through by Mata? Instead of taking the ball in his stride, tried to do a Pele and run round the keep with no ball, failing miserably!
Needs to get his act together!!!

Well, Moosey, from your other posts you'd have him remaining instead of Cole, Terry, Drogba, Lampard, Mikel and Uncle Tom Cobbley.
Lucky you're not in any influential position at CFC.
Sturridge needs to learn and learn fast.
Has a massive oppinion of himself, and yet his end product is often very poor. Far too greedy and selfish, plays for himself and not the team.
For all the stick Torres has received, at least his puts in the effort and has created chances for the rest of the team, the same cannot be said for Sturridge.
I wouldn't say that he is useless, but he is certainly not good enough for Chelsea if we wish to be a top two team and not farting around the Europa qualification level.
Gabriel Marcotti, the Chelsea TV irregular pundit, has never rated him. Continued to rate him down when he was beginning to score goals, and maintains his position. He is not half the player that Drogba is and he is 12 years younger! he makes poor choices , and doesn't defend enough.
But - to be fair - he is improving a LITTLE in both those aspects!
Not enough yet. But he keeps his place easier than SuperFrank.
...Which is managerial gonads.
