    • it seems you may be getting your way but owner managr was probably enough change hopemoxey isnt a bridge too far as he is held in high regard by others in the game

    • i think well have to persevere with jez a manager change and an owner moving over is probably enough upheaval and people outside the club seem to regard him highly

    • anybody even another dodgey geezer like Souness weve had doog what next Dell Trotter is linked with Wolves on the same day an ex england international whos not wanted by his current club or any of the top six in Britain is apparently worth 6 times more than the entire wolves club ground playing staff and merchandising rights ie DAVID BECKHAM EVEN ON A ZIMMER FRAME IS WORTH SIX TIMES MORE THAN THE whole wolves club and hes not good enough for the team he is playing for now #$%$,.ng hell this club has been run by muppets for the last forty years its like someone turning manchester united into accrington stanley in a generation HOW DID THOSE #$%$ IN CHARGE MANAGE THAT

    • Moxey thinks he is bigger than the club i wish he would go back to Stoke. They have done better on the pitch since he left.We should be back in the Premier league where we belong but with him holding the purse strings we have no chance. All he is bothererd about is his bonus for not overspending.

      • is there any likelihood of us getting fresh boardroom staff and cash. whats the rumours locally?

      • I think the lack of interest in wolves sums up just how low we have sunk. In our minds we are still in the same league as man u liverpool arsenal man city villa .We arent it breaks my heart to say it we are a second division club in a second division city. The history is just that history.Twenty million quid for the wolves its an insult especially when other clubs are worth £200 £300 £500 million

      • you are closer than me to the action really is here no one with real dosh ie a abramovich money not 20 million thats only a decent goalie and a centre half these days thats a fiing insult on a day when a old age pensioner becks is still worth 150 million ie becks left leg is worth more than an entire football team club ground merchandising we were bigger than Man united the DRONGOS running wolves must have learned their trade at BRITISH LEYLAND look at the scum that are interested DODGEY DOOG SHIFTY SOUNESS AND DELL TROTTER PERHAPS there is another BHATTI BROTHER SOMEWHERE you bastards have ruined a great club i hope you all die of the pox

    • I see West Ham are worth #85 million and hayword will take 20 million for wolves and no one is snatching his arm off to think we used to be able to be spoken of in the same breath as man u arsenal liverpool i still can acept how far we have declined and just how far from recovery we are you can see why any half decent player we have has voted with their feet

    • I really hope lots of wolves fans read this.

I don't know how short the average wolves fans memory is but lets think about what Mr. Moxey has 'done' for our club. When he left Stoke, all the fans i spoke to were glad to see the back of him and now i now why.

The man can't lie straight in bed. Since promotion this club has recieved in excess of £100 million of income (TV cash, sponsorshipa, Season tickets and most importantly, the SELLING OF PLAYERS), of which only about £5 million has been invested back into the team. That squad has been repeatedly weakened for the last 5 years and we can't keep doing this or it will inevitably lead to relegation and the destruction of the club we all love.

Whilst i don't agree with paying players loads of cash just for them to underperform year in, year out, it annoys me that Jez Moxey insists there is not a penny in the bank, even after the £5 million sale of Lescott, £1.5 million of Seoul, etc, etc, etc. 15 senior players leaving on free transfers and unkown kids coming in, thus slashing the wage bill MASSIVELY but still no money available?

Do they think we're stupid? It seems Mick McCarthy is a great manager SO BACK HIM and lets get out of this division.

The most upsetting thing for me though, is that if we did go up, you just know that not a penny will be invested and all that TV cash will disappear into the mysterious black hole (along with all the rest of it)and we'll come straight back down without a whimper. It was a sticking point with Dave Jones (our best manager in years) who was promised 10 million plus to keep us there but was only given 3!!! Also Glen Hoddle (who was rubbish) wasn't happy that his best player, Lescott, was sold from under his nose for £6 million but given NOTHING to replace him with!!

It seems that any player worth any money whatsoever will be sold (Matt Murray will be next) at the drop of a hat when the club is very much in the black and doesn't need to do this. It smacks of a chronic lack of ambition which is very sad for a club such as ours.

Even though Mr Moxey is an arrogant liar, he's only doing the bidding of Jack Hayward. Its obvious that all the cash is going back into his account. He's blatantly recouping the money he put in over all the years.

I mean, how can a club in the black be up for sale for only 1 pound but not have even 1 approach?? When Ken Bates is taking on a club like Leeds with £80 million+ debt is smells a little fishy to me. The club is not up for sale at all. "Sir" Jack is more than happy making lost of money and has no interest of selling the goose thats laying him the golden egg.

Its hard to critisice a man thats clearly done so very much for the club but it doesn't mean he's beyond criticism. Unfortunately he's like a cancer to the club now, eating every penny and selling every player worth any money and until he goes and someone with some ambition comes in, the only dirextion this club is going in is down.

      Matt Smith.

      • yes i believe you are right first the club was free to anyone who would offer a penny the twenty million id like to see the books just how much real money the haywards have put in it would probably have been taxed off them so not really invested a penny. But SOUNESS DOOG AND DELL TROTTER seem the only interested parties

      • is the club up for sale for a quid il give two where do i sign

      • no one in my experience has ever left wolves and their career not nose dived robbie keen is probably the exception oh alun sunderland that is out of how many hundred or even thousand players who have worn a wolves shirt id rather see a team of triers than over paid prima donnas who spend half their time on the treatment table and the other half getting their agents to jack up their wages

      • I agree but i think we may have missed the boat and be totally out of touch with the big league and who wants to invest in perennial underachievers.Even message boards such as this other teams of comparable size are getting 10 or twenty times more postings there is no fire committment or belief left in the fans the board or the players hardly surprising really i think the decline in west midlands football is terminal

    • lets be fair we are not an Abramovich target for investment we are lucky to have the chairman weve got i bet the hayward family wish they taken up pidgeon racing after all wolverhampton isnt workshop of the world anymore just an obscure provincial backwater somewhere north of watford the 50s sucess couldnt be repeated with a fan base of less than 40000 20000 at the moment. You cant find many people willing to part with £500 for aseason ticket let alone £50,000,000, for a second rate football club

    • jonney untill we get bums on seats or a russian billionaire i think wed better stick with what weve got how much of your pension fund would you risk investing in a underachieving provincial football team that is only number thirty in terms of success in probably the third league system not my idea of a good investment opportunity at the moment
