Jo signs fo Everton - Great news !

Everton have signed Manchester City's Brazilian striker Jo on loan for the rest of the season.

The 21-year old arrived at Eastlands from CSKA Moscow in July 2008 for an undisclosed fee that could rise to £18m but has failed to settle at Eastlands.

He has scored three goals in 18 games for City but has not started a Premier League game since 20 October.

Lets hope we can get another before the window closes !

    • and 1 striker f*cks off, anichebe wants to leave and join HULL, a bigger team ...................ROTFLMFAO

    • It's an interesting one right enough!

We've been linked with a few strikers in the press (for obvious reasons). Whether there was anything in the Darren Bent story we'll never know, but I was up for him to come to us as he is a proven Prem goalscorer and would adapt to our style of play pretty quickly I reckon.

Jo - well, let's see. I have faith in David Moyes - he's generally good at spotting players who can do a job for us, although there have been a few duds along the way too. We'll see which category Jo fits into over time. Maybe it will do him the world of good to get a change of scenery and get away from the whole Citeh pantomime and Elano and Robinho manipulating everyone. Rather than being a peripheral figure in a disunited squad that is fighting relegation, he is coming to a united squad with great team spirit and belief that is fighting for Europe.

Good luck to the lad. Let's hope he makes a good impact and slots a few for us.
