    • 4 years ago SAF signed Kleberson on the strength of a starring role in the world cup and he didnt make the grade. These 2 players are in a similar position consequently i dont fault SAF for not signing them. This whole scenario smells of the hand of Kenyon and his russian master attempting to gain further control in the premiership by probably bankrolling this deal.contrary to popular belief there is a cost involved over and above wages. The company that owns their registration is in business to make money dont forget.

    • Just found this on the BBC website, fuels the fire further...

"While talking about the deal that sees Robert Huth heading to Middlesbrough, Boro chief executive Keith Lamb revealed Peter Kenyon was locked in "other business". Something's afoot at the Blues then."

    • and even worse were the signings we made in January, I mean the talentless thug Vidic and bag o'shite Evra. So Jan 2007 you can expect an unprecedented swoop for Nigel Reo-Coker (please god no!) and someone like Paul Konchesky, probably a player Ferguson thinks is 'quite good'!

    • what's going on is a complete f***ing rerun of last August, by this time only two mediocre signings (Van Der Sar and Park Ji Sung last time, this time round Kuszczak and Carrick - get over him he's not that good a player) and worst of all Fergsuon promising big signings back in June and July - the fact is United don't have the money or the pull they had 5 years ago

    • Another speculation:

One year ago, Aug 2005, reported that MSI intended to buy West Ham, however, nothing happened. This time, West Ham link with MSI again, is there any relationship behind???

May be there is another Russian to involve that buying, he is the rival of Abramovich, they worked together and bought the Serbia Oil Co. in early years and fallen out with Abramovich later, though Abramovich hold 15% stock in MSI, but his rival hold the control and with close relationship with CEO of MSI .

That Russian is very angry with Abramovich, and vowed to challenge his in football territory and showed his interest with West Ham.

    • FIFA need to look into this. without any disrespect to the hammers, there is no way this is the best deal either for the player involved or for the club, and there has to be something dodgy behind it. we are talking about £55m worth of players, going on loan for free, to a midtable club.

i supsect chelsea didnt want to see these two going to either arsenal or united, and so have used some illegal influence to make sure they went elsewhere. their policy of buying players only to stop them going to their rivals is nonsustainable with a limited squad size - looks like they are now bribing players to go to midtable clubs instead.

who wants to bet that these 2 will be "injured" when west ham play chelsea?

      • The Russians think they can operate in the same underhanded way in this country - tapping up Cole, trying to steal young players from Leeds, now this.....something has to be done, and I'm not talking fining them a few grand.

The FA have no balls so it's up to FIFA to sort this out. The laws of the game need changing to keep up with the modern times, like the government and security forces have to adapt to new terrorist methods. I'm sure more details will emerge as the days pass, then we can determine the full extent of what's going on.

    • I can't believe with all the teams rumoured they are going to West Ham must be something dodgy going on. We send Rossi on loan and spend 18m on Carrick, surely they would have been ideal players for us. Even if just on loan for us.

    • So, what is the rank this season?

Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spur, West Ham????

      In which order????
