    • According to SAF they have discovered the problem with his knee and are now working out how best to sort it out for good.

    • time up for saha!!! he is not worthy of the medal!!! sir alex should sell him off and get someone better!!! look at saha, he is such a big guy buy get himself injured so often!!!

    • the problem with saha as i see it isnt just that he is always injured, its that he just isnt that good. we put up with giggs being injured half the season for years because when he played he was so special. saha on the other hand isnt an outstanding player, and would be fairly easily replaceable. theres no reason NOT to replace him.

as he is pacey and good in the air.Maybe if he changed his game slightly and didnt twist and turn as much his injury problem might disappear.

    • So many people easily forget the role he played earlier in the season. I for one don't want him to go, there are few better all round strikers in the premiership, if not the world, than a match fit Louis Saha. He's a wonderful team player, with pace, movement and strength.

Fickle fans jump on the bandwagon. I remember the goal he scored against Benfica away when they were all over us, that basically got us through the group stages. And the one he scored against Chelsea at OT ? For all the names people mention, A fit Louis Saha is better than any of them - the way Utd play in the Premier League.

His injuries are frustrating, but if we have a squad, I want him in it. There are players who simply aren't good enough in the squad and they should be on the list to go well before Saha. What none of us know is what has gone on behind the scenes - his last interview showed his continued commitment to Utd, and I hope Fergie stands by him.

I'd be questioning the physios myself on how we haven't managed to create a training regime that lessened the risk of injury ?

    • I think his problems are mental as well as physical..I get the feeling from listening to SAF that Saha has a mental block when it comes to injuries..he wants to make absolutly sure he is fit ..but that is never the case and so he hardly plays. lots of players play carrying knocks and bruises and these kinds of injuries don´t last month after month like Saha´s.I question his fighting spirit ..also there were comments attributed to Neville and Keane saying that his head is not right and that he gets nervous and looses his head in the big games.I used to like him but now can´t wait to see him go.get rid!

      • I totally agree. Look at Vidic; broken collar bone and he still managed to come back in just over a month and trained while he healed.Saha can't do the same? He is good when he is on top of his game but that is too few and far in between for the Premiership. We need a striker who will play through the small knocks and not need months to recover from pretty petty injuries. Few players are at 100% at any given point of the season, especially considering how many trophies are played for throughout the year. He is a big pussy. We may not need to go buy another striker as Rossi should return from loan and he needs some time in the red shirt to see if he has what it takes as well.

    • Unfortunate. He is a superb player when he is healthy, but he rarely is.
I think if he is staying, he will be a 3rd choice sriker as he is unreliable in terms of health.
