    Carlos Tévez

But if Carlitos wants to join Liverpool instead, it could only be that the negotiation fails and Man Utd let him go. His priority is to stay and play some fair amount of football, not to be a bench warmer all the time.

Either he can't play more regularly anymore with Man Utd, or the letting go then only he will go. And we Man Utd's fans can't blame him if he joins Liverpool, because Man Utd have the initiation in the first place.

I think Liverpool have the fund to buy him, it would be entirely up to Benitez, whether he would persuade Tevez to join them, and get the fund from the seemingly "stingy" BOD. But if the price is around 25m (like with some news saying Real Madrid offering this), it would not be too expensive for them seeing that they bought Keane with 20m.

Not only Liverpool, there are Chelsea and Man City who could be interested too. It would be a big question if Man Utd are willing to let go of Carlitos and Carlitos ends up serving one of their fierce rivals. It is about how Man Utd value Carlitos now. We will see.

Tevez is on loan till the end of the season, and United have first refusal. That's to say they have first choice on his permanent transfer. The latest is that United and Tevez's agent have started talks on a permanent transfer. Happy ?
