    Ronaldo leaving will benefit Rooney

Now with Fergie not being able to enable to stroke Ronaldo's ego Rooney knows that he has an even bigger responsibility to play. He'll definitely be playing more often in his preferred position that's for sure.

The play will be more spread open without Ronaldo. We'll all be expecting more goals from Rooney. People will be saying that United will definitely take the offer up and buy Tevez. If that happens we'll see Berbatov and Tevez partnering each other up front. He wants more playing time. This would mean the Rooney will be playing on the left yet again. Simply for that reason and that reason mainly I wouldn't want United to sign Tevez. A lot of you might and probably will disagree with me but i'm open to ur opinions.

    • You already admitted you are stupid. You said it on your own. End of conversation now. ;)

    • So you couldn't explain what you was trying to say ? Apart from that brilliant post

    • The only thing that will benefit Rooney is Rooney's mindset. I hope we'll see him realize his potential at last.

    • Try not to repeat my words. Use your own. ;)

    • 'Somehow I wonder if you have enough IQ to understand me or not, how come so simple a thing you couldn't get it right? (I try not to use: Are you stupid or something? because I am afraid you would say: My mum always said, stupid as a stupid does' ? Well, I must be very stupid then , because I don't understand this sentence, and I quote " how come so simple a thing you couldn't get it right ? "

    • It is not me who is racist. I said, perhaps some people here are racist or biased. Do you get me now?

Somehow I wonder if you have enough IQ to understand me or not, how come so simple a thing you couldn't get it right? (I try not to use: Are you stupid or something? because I am afraid you would say: My mum always said, stupid as a stupid does. :D )

    • We'll still finish above your club scum(sepp). Sorry if my language offended you leaf, but I will report you next time you use racist remarks too. Relax.

    • Message to Fergie.

Please, please, PLEASE, play Rooney up front and NOT on the wing.
Me personally, I'd build the team around Rooney.
Show Ronaldo what he'll be missing.
I can see Rooney getting 30+ goals next season in all compertions.

    • Wayne Rooney is going to be a massive player for us next season now. Whatever Fergie decides to do with the Ronaldo money, Wayne will be given a more permanent central role to play, and I think he will thrive on it. Its his time to take the limelight and maximise his full potential here now.

      • What makes you think Rooney will SUDDENLY be a massive player? Rooney has been with Man Utd for some years now and he is the player who gets the most regular play besides Ronaldo, that means, as Rooney is already playing regularly for all these years, he has already shown his full potential to the team. He won't suddenly become "massive" simply because Ronaldo is gone, as he has been PLAYING REGULARLY and should have been playing at his best all the time already.

Tevez in fact was the next best player for 2007/2008 season after Ronaldo for the team, played slightly better than Rooney during that time (if someone wants to deny this, give me some good reasons). He played regularly that season but wasn't 100% fit, which means he wasn't at his best yet, but still influential enough to help the team win the double.

2008/2009 season, without reason, he was "bizarrely" dropped by Fergie (Perhaps there was a "plan" behind the scene that Fergie "tried" to lower his value by deliberately dropping him most of the time to play in small games). Thus you never get the chance to see if he plays his best, how would he fare.

But it doesn't matter, he is leaving. I know some of you fans never like him anyway, even before all this happening, some of you NEVER LIKE him anyway. And he is leaving, your wish is granted, end of story.

    • I dont want Tevez to stay but other than that I agree, this could turn out to be a good move for Rooney and the club.

Valencia in to replace him will do me just fine, it will change the way we play slightly which I think will be beneficial to the other midfield players, not to mention strikers.
