    Keane-Fergie row

    https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/18122011/63/keane-hits-fergie-jibe.html

Ferguson is an arrogant, bad-tempered grumpy, rude, unfiendly, and stubborn pirck who's also a whiner and terrible loser. In additon, he's conservative, backward, dictatorial, authoritarian, pushy and out of touch with reality. He;s also selfish, hypocritical, biased, and greedy to a certain degree, and his tactics and team selections are often baffling. He should be held accoutable for our slide and shown the door, along with the Glazers and the board.
Having said that, however, while it's about time Fergie got shown up for the jerk he really is, Keane certainly isn't the right person to do that. As great a player he was for United, he has the exact same personality and character flaws as Fergie-and to a greater extent, and he also failed miserably as a manager. I doubt he'll last long as a pundit either, given his nature.

    • Is Keane not the guy that AF got pay rise to 52000 per week year ago?

Is this not the guy AF stood behind when he jumped shipped from Ireland's world cup event?

Is this not the player AF done a favour by releasing him to go to Celtic to fulfill a lifelong ambition to play in the green hoops? + big pay day.

      Ungrateful ***********

    • Okay, we won the title last season, have been in 3 CL finals in 4 years, and we bought 3 players in the summer, but the overall standard of our play has dropped over the past 2 and a half years. Our tactics are obsolete, our football has become increasingly bland, and we're not producing results like we used to. And besides, buying 3 players isn't enough. We need to buy 7 more players, and change our tactics to keep up with or better yet, be ahead of, the times, before we can become world-class again. But Fergie HASN'T done ANY of that, and neither have the Glazers or the board attempted to pressurize him to do so. Doesn't that give cause for their removal?

    • "I never said anything about sacking the amager after each time we lose a game. Nor did i say we should buy 11 players in January. Did i? I'm only calling for recruitment of new blood and a change in the manager/onwers/board becuase we've been going backwards for the past 2 years." So, we didn't win the premiership last season ? Didn't United buy 3 players in the summer ? Haven't we (United) been in 3 champions league finals in 4 years, winning once ? Is that going backwards ?

    • I never said anything about sacking the amager after each time we lose a game. Nor did i say we should buy 11 players in January. Did i? I'm only calling for recruitment of new blood and a change in the manager/onwers/board becuase we've been going backwards for the past 2 years. We may've been fying at the start of the season and shown glimpses of our early season form in the last 3 games but overall the level of our perfromances has dropped over the past couplle of years, both in producitivity and entertainment value. Besides Fergie has been in charge for 25 years, which is pretty long by today's standards, and he'll be 70 next week. And it's not as if he's a modern manager or man. Hence my desrie to see improvements made to the squad and changes in the club's administration isn't just a knee-jerk reaction.

    • Now that reply was not done by Kitten as it's written in proper English, no spelling mistakes and uses words Kitten wouldn't know.

      Why the pretence, Butch?

    • Tell me one genuine United fan who wants Sir Alex to be sacked by the board after 20 years of continued success . Tell me one genuine fan who would buy 11 new players in January, and sack the manager after each defeat . We'd be financially ruined after 1 season. But then you could sack yourself.

    • IWith all due respect to the likes of Chris, Devon, and Eric, it's also not up to them to decide whther i;m a true United fan or not. Being a United fan doesn't mean i'm not entititled to criticize the manager or team if need be. There are lots of genuine United supporters who do not like Fergie, too, and many of them can't wait to see the back of him. Does that mean they're not real United fans? Surely not. Their opinion of him just happens to differ from yours, or Devon's, Chris's, Steve's or Eric's, that's all.

    • .......and eric, and legend, and devon, or don't they count for you ?
