    REALISTIC January Transfers....

This is not a thread for the likes of Clive, Seven, or any other idiotic members of the 'Suicide Squad' that inhabit this board, and would have us sign 11 players for £200m every transfer window.

As we know, Ferguson usually comes out this time of year and tells us he doesn't like signing players in January. However he has made some pretty decent Jan signings in the past. As usual we are getting linked with everyone, even Walcott!

    Areas mentioned:

GK: Been linked with Stokes keeper. This rumours been fabricated on the basis that with all our rotating, Fergie isn't happy with who he has. De Gea's recall and performance against City suggests otherwise. Lindegaard is a solid backup.

LB: Evra has been showing some good form this season, and Buttner may have eased the burden, but he's 32 now. Been linked with Porto's Brazilian LB. He barely plays but our scouts are always there. Summer perhaps?

CB: Had alot of injury problems, but we have a lot of options. I like Jones, Smalling and Evans, I think Rio could be in his last season, and Vidic will be given time get back to full fitness. I wouldn't be surprised if they are keeping an eye pout for the next Vidic, like the CB's at Dinamo or Torino.

CM: I like the Wanyama rumour because he can cover CB as well as add steel to our midfield, but hey we have Carrick who already does that! Strootman can do the same I believe.

LW: Nani looks to be on his way, Young is a useful squad player but not your typical first choice United quality. This position is the priority as proved by our bids for Moura and Neymar in the summer. The rumour regarding the Colombian Rodriguez is gaining strength.

CF: Lewandowski to Walcott! We have 4 fantastic options, nothing in this.

I think we'll be busy tying up a couple players for the summer, but we could see someone come in Jan, perhaps Wanyama? Hopefully a couple Croatian kids and the Colombian are being sorted RVP style for a positive summer.
