Not a great game to watch, but chico really needs to learn how to stay onside, the ammount of times a good pass has been ruined by him being offside, his goal tally could be more than doubled if he ran the line better
I watched the last 15 minutes of the match vs WHU, what I saw was a disjointed performance by both sides, with no one controlling proceeding.
I think Man U would have to play better than they did tonight if they are not to suffer another defeat on Sunday against Spurs.
That's a common problem with players who stay on the last defender like him, but you're right, he could only increase his goals by getting even slightly better timing.
Lots of players who needed playing time, and it showed at times - never bad, but a few who looked like they weren't at their best. Still, great pass from Anderson for the goal, and good to see Jones and Buttner get another 90 minutes.
Rooney's penalty miss was ridiculous, but it's great to have him back.

When a player like Hernandez gets caught offside its not always his fault, sometimes its because the player making the pass hasn`t reacted to his run quickly enough. I thought the defence did well cause even when west ham had good possession they weren`t really able to put Linedgaard under any sustained pressure. I thought Smalling and Jones were very solid and made some excellent interceptions and they were well supported by Rafael and Buttner.
