  • Not surprisingly the press are suggesting that Moyes is looking to add these 2 to utd's squad - I say not surprisingly because its normal to suggest that an outgoing manager is going to raid his previous club for players and Baines in particular has been heavily linked with utd in the past. Whether everton would be willing to sell Baines to anyone, let along utd, remains to be seen. However, apparently Fellaini has a clause in his contract which enables him to leave if a CL club makes a bid of around £24 million - the figure varies a bit depending on which paper you read. He was heavily linked earlier in the season with a move to Chelsea but who knows he may now prefer to link up with Moyes at utd.

Other news, well the Mike Phelan haters will be pleased as he is rumoured to be the biggest casualty amongst utd`s backroom staff with some papers suggesting he could be replaced as assistant manager by Phil Neville. Hopefully those rumours which claim that Rene M will also leave are wrong as he is probably the best coach utd have and I would have thought given that he is close to SAF he will only leave if he wants to.

    • I cant make my mind up on Fellaini. On the one hand he is a nightmare to play against, but on the other I just dont know if he is United material??

Evra has had a great season, but with Fergie going and at his age he might fancy another challenge. Baines would be a decent replacement. Buttner deserves more action and then there is Fabio....

But in a United midfield it would be harder to cope with him due to the other forward threats. He also can put it about a bit, which we lack. Hes not graceful. But hes a goal threat and makes his presence known. Id take him in a heartbeat.
